Food was a complete rip off. Pubes on my bed. The shower only ran at boiling. Staff were nice and the breakfast was good. The spa was freezing.

I booked for a family of 5 but the family suite only sleeps 4. I had to request sheets and duvet for the pull out bed and had to make it up myself.

Check in took 25minutes. Large queue. System was down i think. No communication from staff. Room is dirty. Hairs on one bed, floor mot hoovered. Sweets amd bottle cap on floor. Coloured runner on bed has stains o it. No heating turned on all night. Food in restaurant was lovely. Took way too long to pay, card machine wasn't working.

Breakfast was totally manic! Too many people, not enough staff, no replenishing food when it ran out, coffee machines not working properly and tables too close together to get back to your seat. At least 4 other guests who spoke to me were not happy with their breakfast experience either, so not just our family. The bedroom is comfortable and clean but to put our family in 2 rooms at opposite ends of the hotel was not acceptable, given I requested rooms close together well in advance. Would I recommend this hotel? Sadly not based on our family experience this weekend.

The one thing that stuck out was we had thought-mistakeningly-that there was an airport shuttle to the hotel and when we got on the shuttle I clearly asked the driver if he was going to the liffey valley location and he nodded. There is no shuttle for the liffey valley location, he took us and several other ppl to a location and then shrugged when we asked why-when we all asked him separately-he said he was going to the Liffey Valley location and whatever other location the other guests were going to. He then stood by the doors and laughed with his friend-another Clayton employee-about the fact that we had all be brought to the long location and said "It happens every day." Thats a problem and I would not stay with Clayton again because of that interaction/situation.

Very disappointed as did not get the room we booked as the hotel was overbooked. Was given an apartment with a double bed and a roll along small bed. Was not happy but at 2am had no choice.

Room was clean and the bedding was luxurious. Would stay in the hotel again. Spa was very disappointing. Pool was clean. However the changing rooms were filthy and the gym was disguising. Staff seemed disinterested on the reception. No where to lock items away unless you want to spend €6 on a pad lock.

Had an amazing room, Stayed in room 480, lots of space and facilities were very good. Leisure centre was very good, pool and jacuzzi were excellent. Had dinner in the restaurant, food and service were very good as always

Stayed here as we had some family things to do in Dublin. Took a larger room for two adults and three kids and couldn’t be happier with the setup and the facilities. Check-in was easy and swift. Room service is via an app which could do with better expectation management but the service overall was great.

I arrived at night time after a long drive abd after checking in was told to go out the front door of the hotel in the dark and walk to end of all the buildings to find my apartment, despite having booked a room in the hotel. The apartment had a broken lock on the balcony door and I’d to wait while different porters had to come to my room to try and fix it. It couldn’t be fixed so I’d to move to another apartment, carrying all my luggage as the staff walked ahead of me not even offering to carry anything. I was gone the next day from 8am to 9pm and on my return the new key cards wouldn’t let me into the apartment block so I’d to go back to reception. When I did arrive back to my apartment/room the door was completely open and looked like the cleaners had left my door open all day with all my personal belongings inside. I rang reception who told me there was no manager available and they would ring me back. I never received a call back. Serious security issues at this hotel, I would advise solo female travellers not to stay here.

Room was not worth the price of the stay. The food was not nice. Unable to get into jacuzzi as people still sitting in it ages wouldn't leave to allow others to go in. The showers in the changing room were so hot it wasn't suitable for a child to get washed up. Just overall it wasn't a great stay

Lovely comfy beds, great staff. Free swimming/sauna/steam room (one of the best I’ve been in-so hot) … Parking is a bit pokey. Right by Liffey Mall. So choices on food if you don’t eat at restauran. (Nando’s and a few others) M&S, Boots and Dunne’s also a Cinema) overall a really nice place to stay..recommend ..

Really enjoyable stay. Very pleasant and helpful receptionist at check-in. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel was very busy, but no issues with noise etc.. Breakfast was good, both in terms of quality and variety of options available. Check out was fast and very handy to have car park in basement.

Hotel is fine. Good location on outskirts of Dublin. Handy to the zoo. Lots of shops in liffey valley if thats your thing. Does feel like needs a lick of paint and a touch up in places especially the leisure centre changing rooms. Be careful in the changing rooms as floors are very slippy. My son slipped and fell and split his head on wall in changing rooms which required a trip to hospital to get glue/stitches. So time was limited in the hotel then as sat in a&e a good part of our stay.

It was barmy warm weekend in Dublin, and I don’t hold Clayton Liffey valley for gods good work, however there was nothing to mitigate this at all apart from a filthy noisy ( of centre) fan! The furnishings were bashed and dated, poorly maintained. There was a function on both nights, finishing late and, due to the weather windows were open making it far to loud to sleep! Check in was farcical, a big push to self service kiosks that were not working correctly (confirmed by a member of staff). Overall very disappointing.

The personal touch was nice. The family room was okay, but the couch and the cramped bed were very uncomfortable. The breakfast was very simple, and unfortunately, the plates and cups were often dirty. The dining room quickly became filled with broken chairs. Overall, I would give the hotel a mediocre to poor rating.
