Unhappy with the way we were treated.

There were 3 adults and 2 kids. One of the adults has a dietary problem.we had dinner all was good. Breackfast my daughter asked if they could cook her porridge which was in an unopened bag and she would buy the still water in the bar and pay extra for them to do it. They refused her. I cannot understand why they said there was no problem in catering for people that have problems with food and then refused. Now we paid for the Hotel, drinks, and dinner, I don't understand why this happened. I would never recommend anyone to stay in your hotel. Nuala mcHale

We had a lovely stay at the crown plaza albeit a short stay we would definitely return again!

So clean and practical, a really nice level of detail.

Unable to access different floors in the lifts etc we were a party of 30+ all spread over different floors and it was a bit frustrating having to get someone to collect you.

Loved the hotel, not happy about that 1 incident!

Loved the hotel. Clean & friendly atmosphere.

One of the breakfast chefs was rude to my husband, he wanted an omelette without peppers. He told my husband to stand away from the serving area before he had ordered his omelette preferences, Martin said’ you don’t know what I want!’ The chef said he did! Martin stood there for 5 minutes & then he was handed a plate, needless to say he didn’t eat it. The following morning when he went to order the chef recognised him & apologised saying that he was having a bad day!

Exceptional Service in a beautiful hotel

We were staying overnight as I had a hospital appointment the following morning and we were travelling from Donegal. We had a delicious dinner with a very friendly waiter who checked in that the food was good and the drinks were topped up. After dinner we went back to our room and both of our children came down very suddenly with Influenza A. They were both incredibly sick all night long. I went to reception in the morning and explained that they were sick but I had to leave for a hospital appointment and the extremely helpful receptionist provided me with a late checkout (at no cost) so that they could sleep on. When I got to the hospital, my appointment was cancelled. I returned to the hotel and decided to just pack up the boys (husband sick by then too) and get home, so I didn't need the late checkout. I explained to the receptionist that there had been vomiting but that I had cleaned it as best I could with a towel and placed the towel in the laundry bag in the bath, but that the carpet would need disinfecting. She was so kind despite the embarrassing situation and didn't even charge me for the towel. My husband went for an early breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff even allowed him to bring a tray of food to the room in case the boys got hungry. I had breakfast before my appointment and it was delicious, especially the wheaten bread! I have been messaging family and friends about the nightmare situation (one son ended up in hospital last night) and have stated repeatedly that I'd probably have had a breakdown from the stress without the kindness of your staff. I will absolutely be recommending your hotel to all, and we will definitely be back to enjoy it again when we're in better health. Thank you to everyone for being so good to us!

If I had to find a fault, I would say that the orange juice at breakfast was a cheap dilute and didn't fit in with the quality of everything else.

A wonderful start to our family day out, could not have asked for a more relaxing and spotless hotel

The breakfast was excellent with plenty of variety and the breakfast room was very well laid out, leaving plenty of space between tables. The decor was relaxing. The staff were extremely accommodating and efficient. The location of the hotel,was perfect for our family day out for Christmas shopping. Our bedroom was exceptionally clean, the decor once again was relaxing and bright, and the room was well lit.

There were 3 people staying in our room, however, we did not have face cloths, towels, glasses, robes or slippers for 3 people, only 2! This is something that could be improved upon. A personal preference would be a firmer mattress, but that is a small thing compared to the beautiful room we stayed in.

Lovely short stay for Christmas party.

Staff on reception were excellent. Indian male (sorry I forget name) was especially helpful and welcoming. Two female bar staff not so much - very slow in serving and did not appear to want to be there. Staff in restaurant and at breakfast also very good. Hotel facilities good. Room clean and quiet. Shower good. Bed very comfortable. On site parking was a bonus with plenty spaces.

VERY DISAPPOINTED

The hotel is beautiful. The rooms were great.

5 adults and 2 eighteen year olds booked in for one night (to celebrate my daughters 18th birthday. We were told we could not sit in the bar as all the tables were reserved for a coach load of people who were not there at the time! We were told we could sit in reception! So in my opinion a coach load was more important than the guests that were already there! My daughter was close to tears! A birthday she will remember but for the wrong reasons! While the hotel is excellent some of the staff could do with customer service training! Treating every customer with equal respect. Very disappointed and would not recommend it.

Amazing

The room was very clean and smelt good, the staff are so kind and approachable. There’s this peace you feel when you enter the room. I love that there’s a window to help with ventilation when needed. I love that they have beverages in store for people who don’t take coffee or tea.

I was attending an event there. The meeting room on the board was wrong, and we had to up and move!

The Breakfast was wonderful. They had an excellent select from fruits, cold meats through to (my favourite) the full Irish.

Nothing especially came to mind. I did opt for the fish and chips and an evening meal option. The batter was lovely and crispy, but I had a hard time finding the fish (which wasn't specified on the menu). Also, we (the group with whom I attended) had to wait at least 30 minutes to be served with our lunch

Clean, friendly, comfortable, nice breakfast and dinner on site. Free parking. Small but ample gym. Friendly staff. And two interesting birds in the lobby!

There's a 6kg hand weight missing from the gym. I'm sure the guests would appreciate having a replacement.
