I booked three rooms for this trip - the room we were allocated for the 3 night stay was smaller than the "small double" I'd booked for my daughter for 2 nights. The room was tiny and did not feel like great VFM.

Room on lower level, smell of damp as you go down the stairs and bed felt damp when I got into it. Lights by bed were not working, dirty toilet brush right next to toilet which was horrible, shower tiles need a proper clean and black mould on white silicone in showroom. Curtains need attention/rehang. The website shows a very different view than the reality. I actually couldnt bring myself to use the shower and as I stayed 1 night only, I waited until I got home.

Location perfect for us as we were visiting family close by, arrived late so good to have key codes. Good room on the first floor, comfy bed and pillows, clean bathroom with good shower pressure. Good to be able to have a cup of tea/coffee in the room- breakfast not available which was fine for us. Very good value for money.

Pleasant neighbourhood. Close to St Luke’s hospital for morning appointment. Parking at property ( limited). Coffee maker and kettle in room.

Some more attention to detail regarding cleaning would be good as some visible staining on door in bathroom and cushions. Also remote control for tv not clean. Very few working channels on tv. No cutlery. Mini fridge not working. Sink in room not bathroom. No bottle of water . No staff very strange experience.

My room was very clean except for the wooden window frame in the bathroom which needed a good clean. A very small item which lowered the rest of the high standard in the room.

Should be priced and marketed as budget accommodation - not a four-star hotel.

The location was convenient to my meetings and nice local restaurants and shops. It was good to be able to park for free. Communication with the property beforehand was smooth. Bed linen was good quality and the bed was comfortable. The room was clean.

The front desk was not attended at all. The property was more like budget accommodation than a four-star hotel. The fire alarm went off and there were instructions at the door on how to turn it off, so clearly this is a regular occurrence and guests are expected to deal with this. Although everything was clean, there was nothing cosy about the common area or rooms. My room was something like in a basement, with a window looking onto a wall. The wash basin was in the room. The lighting was very poor.

The carpets were filthy. The interior decorations were tired and dirty. Two of the lights in the room did not work. There was a horrible brown stain on the handrail that looked like excrement. Overall a vey disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel.
