    My stay at Maldron Hotel Kevin Street was unfortunately mixed. While the hotel is well located and suitable for a short stay, I found several issues disappointing during my longer visit. The shower drain was clogged and despite reporting it to reception, it was not resolved. Room cleanliness was also below standard with visible dust throughout and a dirty carpet that caused dust to rise whenever we walked on it. In-room dining was unavailable on the 25th September when we returned from a day trip, which was particularly inconvenient. I also found the elderly lady overseeing the dining hall during the day to be discourteous and lacking in proper guest etiquette, which detracted from the overall experience. Overall, I would recommend this hotel more for short-term stays. For a longer visit, I would consider alternative accommodation.

    Philip in reception was exceptional. Fantastic person to have front.of house in any hotel. More staff required at busy check in times as there was nobody manding the bar/restaurant area.
