The Libertine Lodgings

We loved everything about our stay at this fabulous place. We had the most friendly welcome with a complimentary Rhubarb & Custard cocktail & help with planning our first stay in Dublin. Our room was spotless with gorgeous decor. The fan was very welcomed! We loved the little radio too. The food here is amazing & great quality. The breakfast is delicious, fresh fruit, granola & yoghurt, pastries, full Irish & salmon. The food is cooked on a wood fire so the whole place has a lovely aroma of this. Recommend booking a table as it gets very busy. Great location with easy walking distance to the busier areas. The staff are lovely.

The staff were exceptional and really made this hotel a stand out! Very friendly and helpful throughout, and offered us some complimentary drinks which we were thrilled about. The breakfast and sizeable and tasty, the pub below and really charming, and the rooms were newly done, with plush carpets and gorgeous features.

All the decor, hotel staff are all so helpful, one of the best boutique hotel we have ever stayed.

The only thing which is the temperature was high and our room was east facing, and the room does not have AC or fan, the room trapped the heat in, we were not able to sleep at all which was frustrating.

Clean and modern room, good distance from city centre. Lovely staff and really friendly.

The rooms are situated above the restaurant and bar which unfortunately was really noisy and could be heard from the room so got a really bad sleep. We got back to the hotel in the evening and the bar was busy, we had to be up at 3am for our flight so needed to get some sleep but really struggled, even had to put earphones in to drown out the music below. It was a Saturday night so understand the bar being open until 1 and being noisy but if this is the case more should be done to soundproof the rooms. We could also hear other guests conversations very clearly in the corridors and through the walls.
