Decent place. Rooms are nice but there are no shared areas and no breakfast. It’s above a pub, but it’s a quiet pub off the normal tourist route which is loud in some parts of Dublin. It’s not the city centre but it’s walkable. Proper Irish welcome really very nice people. No reception outside opening hours but you can phone and leave bags.
Too warm at night.

My stay at McGettigan’s was fantastic. The room was gorgeous, with a beautiful, stylish interior and a clean, freshly refurbished feel. The bed was very comfortable, making it ideal for a solo traveller like myself. However, I can imagine that for two people the standard room might feel a little tight on space, although this is balanced by the excellent value for money. The location is perfect, with everything within easy walking distance. The room did get a bit warm at times, but air conditioning was provided which helped keep it comfortable.
