About this hotel

The NH Valencia Las Artes hotel couldn’t be in a better spot. It’s just a couple of minutes’ walk from a science museum, aquarium and IMAX cinema. Buses outside the hotel take you into the old town, and you can be on the beach in 15 minutes.

Nice hotel, good location

Good location, close to City of Arts and Science. Bus stop near by, easy to reach main tourist attractions. Quiet, nice staff.

Not necessarily something that should be counted as major issue, but small renovations needed and maybe replacing old furniture

Only stay here if you get a really cheap price

Location for Valencia marathon was good

The prices were extortionate and the accommodation was very basic and cramped. It was more like a hostel than a hotel. The room was very very basic and small the bed was very hard. I went to fill a bath and the water was yellow

Close to everything you want

Fantastic location, 2 minutes to Turia, Hemisferic, Science museum and Umbracle, 7 minutes to Oceanografic, 3 minutes to shopping center. Good breakfast - something for everyone in my travel company. Decent rooms, clean, great beds. Relatively quiet. Cute little pool in the basement.

Someone in reception need to learn the difference between left and right out the hotel door. We were given wrong directions to catch a bus to the beach. Other then that, they were polite and helpful! The door out to the terrazzo was always locked....

I was disappointed and regretted choosing this hotel

There were good public transport links very close to the hotel.

I had a third bed squeezed into my room which made it very awkward to move around. The WiFi was sporadic and the reception staff were not always able to sort it out. The main door to the hotel is awkwardly positioned with only a narrow ramp for pedestrians. There were very few restaurants and cafes close to the hotel.

Was definitely not a 4 star experience

Upon check in and entering my tiny room, the sink was full of water and the plug was broken, it was extremely damp and humid and also smelt of cigarette smoke. When I went down to explain, the manager said to his colleague “estamos casi completo y es lo que hay” - we’re nearly fully booked and it is what it is. Not professional at all, if you ask me.

2-day-stay in Valencia

Delicious breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable bed, good location, luggage storage, sauna and pool.

The most disappointing for us was lack of contact with hotel and poor communication with hotel staff. We sent 3 messages to the hotel a few days before coming to València and still have not heard back. We wanted to arrange something nice for birthday and it was not possible. There was no instruction from reception on hotel amenities, etc. Room was small with no balcony.

Great to be back again!

Fantastic room at the top of the building with a little terrace outside, with great views. Friendly staff. Very clean. Loved having a Nespresso machine, kettle, fridge. Was like a mini studio apartment. Great location - both the beach and the center of the city are walkable to, and it's very close to the lovely Turia gardens.

The bed was a little bouncy for our liking, but that's probably just a matter of what you're used to. I missed having a bath-tub in the bathroom (but I did know this before taking the room and the shower was good).

The water of the pool was cold most of the days. We could not enjoy it. The gym doesn’t have air conditioner. The room is dated and needs modernising.

Never again

The bed was hard and had difficult to enjoy my sleep. The staff was not polite, the communication was very cold and just giving enough information. If i asked twice same question i received rude answer.

Decent hotel next to Oceanogràfic València and Science Museum

The property is located in a well connected area in walking distance of the Oceanographic and Science Museum. The standard room was decent, but slightly small for a family of 3. The breakfast was excellent with a large spread of local cuisine. The terrace on the 11th floor is accessible to all and worth a visit.

Standard room was not spacious enough for a family of 3. It would have been a welcome gesture to offer late checkout without the extra charge.

Simple, clean and near touristic areas

The location is perfect to go out on the tourist guide but a little far from the beach. Perfect if you want to go to the club at Lumbracle

Good choice for a short trip with great restaurant options in the neighbourhood

Nicely located close to la ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias. Nice restaurants around with playgrounds for kids. Breakfast is great value for your money, which has always been my experience with NH hotels. Friendly staff as well!

While there's plenty to do around the location, I was a bit disappointed with the lobby. Waiting for people with a drink could be handy, but it's in a small area within the reception, so it gets busy very quickly. Also, tried to use the pool on Saturday morning but it was too cold to be enjoyed (it said temperate - which it wasn't) , then thought about using the sauna very quickly, but it was also not working. i could have called reception, but I didn't have enough time so I left it as is.

Old and outdated furniture. Rooms on lower floors and facing the street are very noisy, including during the night. No coffee machine in the room, limited amenities in the bathroom

We had a very nice time in Valencia!

The location was great and many nice sights nearby, as well as a large shopping center and nice restaurants. The breakfast was excellent. Breakfast was very extensive and an excellent service from the staff.

Our room was on the street side and especially in the morning you can hear the busy traffic. But in the end it was not so bad because after breakfast you have already forgotten about it :-).

Room clean, nice view, great terras on the 11th.

Checkin/out process was quick.

During checkin a lot of loyalty program questions had to be answered, should be left out if you don't want to answer the questions. Value for money? The room was clean. Nice staff. A bit expensive during the Fallas. You can't book breakfast through booking.com, so an extra fee was charged. You 'feel' that this period of time guests are paying for everything. I missed the hospitality part a bit.

Smart hotel in an interesting newly developed area of Valencia

Great location if you don't want city centre/old town - lots going on around in newly developed area close to the Turia River, Palace of Arts and Sciences and the Hemisphere. Good transport links to Old Town (bus/new metro line 10). Rooms nicely decorated and very comfortable. Great views from our (upgraded) 11th floor room.

Lifts and some common areas in need of a bit of smartening up - but that's being a but picky!

Great location and lovely hotel. Very accommodating as I kept changing our arrival date.

It was easy to find the hotel and easy to check in. The rooms were next to each other and my room had a terrace. We asked for a map and the receptionist gave us directions as to how to walk through the park into the center. The breakfast was good and the checkout was easy too. Would definitely stay here again.

Only problem was the scrambled eggs were lukewarm.
