Got allocated to Aqua 3 - very frustrating!

Location near to the Ciutat de las Artes y Ciencias and surrounding park.

First of all we were booked in for Ilunion 4 along with another couple, but upon arrival we were told that due to overbooking, we would now be located in Ilunion Aqua 3. I know this is only next door but I believe the facilities and rooms seem inferior to that of the Aqua 4, where I have stayed previously. The other couple remained in Aqua 4. After a lengthy wait, we were finally able to check in at Aqua 3 and given a room. 1 of the 2 lifts was broken and operating very slowly, meaning a further wait. Finally to our room, and to our embarrassement and frustration it was already occupied! We then have to take the agonsingly slow lift back down to reception to complain, and wait again to be allocated a new and available room. The check-in process took us at least 30-40minutes which meant we were late for a dinner reservation. We were never offered any compensation or money back for the inconvenience, or the fact we were given a lesser room than that booked originally.

The room didn’t have an iron. Easily fixed when we called front office.

I really loved the room and the view — it felt fair for what I paid. There were a few issues, but the staff handled them quickly and efficiently.

What really disappointed me was the so-called “upgrade.” They promised me a fully stocked minibar for free, but all I found were just two bottles of Fanta and two cans of water. When I complained, they brought me three more bottles of Coke — but since they were glass, I needed a bottle opener, which never arrived. In the end, I couldn’t use the minibar at all and was left with nothing more than two cans of water.

Modern, comfortable, quiet, convenient to a shopping area with lots of restaurants and walking distance of the City of Arts & Sciences. Especially appreciated the filtered water dispensers in the hallways for refilling our water bottles.

From check-in to check-out, everything was excellent. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location couldn’t be better. The view was an added bonus. If I return to Valencia, this is definitely where I would stay again.

Great Stay

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Hotel's location is brilliant for shopping, tourist attractions, restaurants and park into town. Reception Staff very knowledgeable. You can reach Valencia city centre or the beach within 20 minutes on the bus. Various bus stops/ routes just a couple of mins walk from the hotel. About 20 mins taxi ride from Airport. Breakfast was a self service buffet - plenty of choice. Our room was very comfortable - Junior Suite - 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom/ living area with minibar ( no charge for first use). Great aircon which was needed as 40c some days! Wifi connection easy and great signal.

Hotel needs to promote the Floor 9 restaurant/ bar more. The view of the city is amazing from the restaurant and is a hidden gem. We couldn't find a menu online to check out, so didn't eat there. Pets are allowed - alot of yappy dogs. Fortunately we were not staying next to one! No gym - although there is one in the shopping centre - don't know if you can become a temporary member - loads of running routes in park about 2 minutes away. If this hotel had a swimming pool it would be perfect.

A good hotel quite far from the city center

The room was clean and pretty quiet which we.liked. Room view was excellent. We had a early morning flight and the staff made us a breakfast bag. There are plenty of shops and restaurants around.so you don't have to leave the area for basic amenities.

The hotel ia pretty far from the center and the metro station is kilometers away..Be prepared to walk a lot if you want to see the city. We asked the staff to arrange a taxi for us for the day of the departure. The staff told us the evening before and in the morning that a taxi had been ordered. No taxi showed up and we had to quickly order it ourselves so we made our flight. I would not trust the staff to do these things if I would visit this hotel again.

The location is the only good thing of this hotel.

I didn t like the olf room and the absence of the facilities. Also the hotel consider that it is a 4 star, but everything was so disapponting. It is the worse 4 star hotel that I was.

Wonderful

Very nice hotel! The staff is polite, kind and understanding. Location is simply the best, near a metro station line directly from airport (15-20min). There is a mall in the first four floors, so you have food, coffee, shops and supermarket right next to you. Also the begging of the park - Turia gardens is 5 min walking from the hotel. We had great view from our room - directly to city of art and science. The room was big and clean. Everything about our stay was perfect!

Spacious rooms, clean, good location in between beach and historic part of Valencia. Friendly staff. Good value for money.

Had to wait more than 2 hours for our room to be ready on day of arrival. Another family member got a room with the air condition not working . It took the hotel 48 hours to try and fix it which was done by leaving it on one setting that could not be changed .

clean and modern stay in the tourist area of Valencia

location is brilliant for tourist activities and shopping, with the beach only a 10 minute cycle. nice, clean and modern with very helpful staff

No pool, and also room wasn’t very well kept in terms of maintenance. arrived to a broken shower which was fixed by the front desk within 10 minutes but the floorboards were loose and nearly caused falls on multiple occasions

Friendly helpful staff in a perfect location

only downside is music is played 24/7 and through ceiling speakers in the hallways. this was audible annoyingly through the night I thought someone had their tv up really loud and was coming through walls but nope, actual speakers in outside the rooms in the walkways. these should be switched off after 10pm latest not carrying on playing throughout the night.

Unexpectedly beautiful.

The hotel is located in an excellent area, with shops ( corte inglese ) and close to public transport stations. The Oceanographer is also located in the area, 5-10 minutes away on foot.

Best location in Valencia

The location was perfect. Beautiful arts and science buildings and park across the street. The mall is adjacent which is also convenient. Easy to get to the old town with the beautiful gothic architecture. Parking was easy and parking elevator brings you to the hotel entrance. The room was comfortable and clean. Very nice hotel.

We could not see the hotel from the street. You have to just go into the mall parking and look for hotel signs once in the parking garage. This is not really a problem but we did drive around in circles a few times unsure if the hotel is in the complex or not.
