Overall, the hotel is good, but what really makes the difference is the front desk staff — especially Vivian, the receptionist we met at night. She was incredibly sweet and helpful. Eugenio and Carmen were just as great.
As for the building itself, it definitely needs a bit of a refresh, since the rooms look quite old, and cleanliness could be improved. The floors, both at the reception and in the rooms, always looked a bit streaky. That said, the general cleanliness of the room was fine — the bathroom and the bed were good — it was really just the floors that could have been better.
Breakfast, on the other hand, was perfect: really rich and varied.

It worked due to proximity to the expo centre but I won’t rush back.
I like that it’s pet friendly but, really, move the dog blankets and dog water and food bowls out of the rooms if guests are not checking in with pets!! Major attention is needed to cleanliness…. I arrived with clean clothes and left with a fur blanket thanks to the pet hair!
