Would choose Westin again if I ever visit Valencia

Peaceful, well located venue, a classic 5* location in Valencia.

Very quiet room. One problem - with the heating system - was promptly repaired and we were given some compensation for the initial lack of heating. Location is excellent for the shopping area, river walks, multiple restaurants such as Askua, Aragon 58, Casita de Sabino and Casa Roberto, and concert/opera facilities. The public areas are clean and well maintained. For football fans - major teams stay here when playing in Valencia. Tight security and no disturbance... Option of a decent coffee and croissant as alternative to the full breakfast. Beach area a taxi away as was Casa Montana, which is the oldest restaurant in VLC and well worth a visit as well (booking essential).

Solid hotel near the attractions of Valencia

Very nice breakfast. Good shower in the bathroom with excellent products. Service was very attentive at reception, concierge and restaurant. Nice entertainment in the lounge in the evening.

The bedroom had a noisy airco that could not be turned off.

Glamorous old hotel in a great location.

The location was good with lots of public transport options and easy access to the park. The room was nice and big and the bed huge! The hotel was tastefully decorated with a lovely central courtyard and a great gym and indoor pool. Nice bar with seats in in the courtyard.

The “coffee making machine” in the description was just a kettle with instant coffee and scant teabags, we had to keep requesting tea bag’s from reception as housekeeping didn’t top them up. It’s a shame they don’t have an outdoor pool as the weather was gorgeous. Nowhere to top up water bottles.

Friendly and Warm Service with A Fabulous Courtyard For Relaxing

Immaculate service provided by the staff from the front desk to the restaurant to housekeeping. It was nice to return to the hotel’s courtyard every afternoon to relax and enjoy tea. The location is within walking distance to the city centre and old town which makes it accessible to major attractions without being too crowded and noisy.

The hotel worth spending your extra money on.

First of all, staying in a Westin is an experience. The bathroom is nearly the size of the bedroom, and the bedroom is large. There is a walk-in shower, a separate toilet, a tub and an enormous space with mirrors and sink. The art deco interior design of the hotel is just gorgeous. The king-size bed is like a giant raft that takes you off to sleep. The people working there are super helpful and the building and the grounds (especially the interior courtyard) are extraordinary. We also found it conveniently located in terms of the old city around where we spent much of our time.

It’s an oasis in a busy and hot (when we visited) city.

Only tiny things: low pressure in the shower, though lots of water from the rainfall shower head. I would have expected some body lotion to be in the room but there was a card saying to ask for anything you were missing, so not a complaint.

Disapointing for a 5 star hotel

The location, most of the staff

We got breakfast included and stayed for 4 days. The last day, we had to catch the train and the staff refused to let us take our breakfast fruits with us. We had to leave it on the table untouched for them to throw away. No food can leave the kitchen restaurant. Food that you paid for. We were 3 and are not big eaters so we were so disappointed and felt humiliated. There was even a day we didn’t go to breakfast which is non refundable. I wish I would have spent my money in a place that would have welcomed me better. I undersand they want to control the buffet but this was unnecessary, especially for a 5 star hotel.

Excellent hotel but balcony room not worth the additional cost

Excellent property and good location. Very spacious room and amazing staff, in particular Alosso from the Concierge desk. Super helpful and charming.

Our balcony was a concrete space with one metal table and 2 chairs. No plants, sun beds or indeed view. Needs some love and attention. Only one restaurant was open all week, limited menu but good food.

The place to stay in Valencia

Superb staff and location. The hotel is really nice, especially the renovated areas. Our room was very spacious but a little bit old in style and furniture. Would stay here without any question. As a big plus, breakfast was marvelous!

Sometimes we had to wait to be seated at breakfast. They tried to help me with some flowers for Mother's day, but it ultimately did not work out. Be prepared the pool is only available for kids in specific hours.

Very large room with a stunning bathroom. The meal in the restaurant was gorgeous and the cocktails very tasty. The hotel is well maintained and staff friendly.

Very large well appointed rooms. Comfortable bed. Nice courtyard for evening drinks. Location just across the park from old town was very easy in and easy out while still a convenient walk to the city center.

Gorgeous hotel in a historic building. It was just across the bridge from the main part of Valencia. During the Fallas it was nice to have a quiet hotel to treat to.

Extremely disappointing Service

Building and decoration is nice. Spa and Pool where out of order.... another surprise. So ask it before you book this rather expensive hotel.

Extremely bothered by female receptionist at checkout by calling to the room again and again and again, only 5 min after checkout time. It was a disgrace to be treatened this way in a 5- star hotel. It ruined an important business call and my positive feelings about this hotel. They lack training their staff how to treat their well paying guests properly. Extremely disapointing that even the manager could only apologize for her staff, but did not undertake further action or compensation. Very bad service!
