Nice room, quiet location. On a lovely beach. Helpful staff.
Could have been more seating at the bar area.

A small hotel and all the better for it. The location is excellent - a short tuk-tuk or scooter ride into town and right on the beach. The staff are excellent and, in particular, Nick the General Manager goes out of his way to help and make useful recommendations. The hotel puts on events such as films, special dinners and quizzes to keep things fresh. I would certainly return without hesitation.
Nothing really - the mattress in my garden bungalow was quite firm but when I moved to a sea view room it was really comfortable.

The staff were exceptional, always greeted you with a smile and were happy to help. Location was perfect for what we wanted, at the quiet end of the beach with plenty to do within walking distance. The food was fantastic, and the beach was perfect with the sea being very flat and shallow. We loved moving from the sea to the pool, so the Hotel layout was great for this. My wife enjoyed a few massages during our stay, which were excellent.
Only the beds were too hard; the first couple of nights, it felt like sleeping on wood. However, we did get used to them after that. Considering how perfect everything else was, this is a very minor issue for us.

Very tranquil setting. We had bungalow on the beach. Was amazing.
Too many kids!

This place is beautiful; located at the very end of the main beach, thus very calm and quiet. The restaurants and bars are a five-minute-walk away right on the beach.
The rooms are simple and lovely; very comfortable beds and very clean. Excellent housekeeping!
The best about Twin Bay is the staff. Nick and his team, especially Nick himself and Yaya are phenomenal people - exceptionally friendly, welcoming, helpful and extremely polite! It felt sooo good to stay there!
Everything was just perfect!

Sea front bungalows and Nick!
Worn out plastic table cloths at lunch and turbid pool.

We got upgraded to a beach front villa so that was very nice. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. The room was comfortable.
The bathroom of the room was too small. The breakfast was very limited and didn’t really feel fresh regardless at what time we went to eat. We also had very bad weather the entire time, but that has nothing to do with the resort.

Location is excellent
We already knew the restaurant was under renovation, but this did impact more than expected.

The staff were wonderful - Nick was very helpful and while we opted out of housekeeping on some days they always made sure we had everything we needed. Breakfast was good and we liked the location - on a quiet section of the beach with ocean on either side of the spit but still walking distance to a few restaurants
Some reviews indicated there was snorkeling off the beach but we didn’t find the conditions were good there. We opted for some snorkelling day trips that included hotel pickup.

incredible hotel with wonderful people at the helm! everything about our stay here was miles above and beyond our expectations. i booked this stay with my partner to celebrate my 30th birthday, so we were hoping it would be extra special! the staff did everything in their power to ensure it was so, presenting me with a beautiful cake in the morning of my birthday at breakfast and then arranged a beautiful flower arrangement on my bed! the staff are constantly checking if you are okay and if you need anything at all, and Nick the manager was always there for anything you may need. The breakfast was DELICIOUS, and a different selection every day. the room was the star of the show (besides the incredible staff!) we were upgraded to a beach view room, and it was absolutely stunning. the room itself had all you would need, was pristinely kept and had a stunning view of the beach. as it’s on the higher end of the island it was almost always quiet so felt private! the pool area was wonderful with the infinity pool, and the poolside bar was stocked and the smoothies were delicious. they did have construction work ongoing whilst we were there, which we were informed of, but it did not distract at all from the amazing experience. best hotel stay i’ve ever had!
absolutely nothing, everything was amazing

Great location and lovely staff.
Rooms and surroundings looks quite shabby compared to the pictures. Ongoing renovation does not add additional charm. We had a sea view villa. The room was ok, except the bed feels like you’re sleeping on a piece of concrete. Aircon was noisy, making some vibrating noise.
The price, compared to other hotels feels quite much too high for what you get.

Nick at reception is truly the best host I've ever encountered at a resort! He gave us great advice on places to go and made it feels like a home away from home
All the staff were exceptional and friendly. The facilities were top notch and the massage ladies are lovely. Had a phenomenal time, cannot rate highly enough
It was off season and we were unaware that jellyfish were in the water! Luckily the sting was only small and pain disappeared very fast.

The staff were friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had a good stay at Twin Bay Resort. The food at the resort was excellent and well priced, and the view from the pool on a sunny day was beautiful. Our room was spotlessly clean and was really spacious. We loved our stay here!
We got quite a few bugs in our room - we think because there was a bit of a gap between the door and the frame. The sound on the TV wasn't great in the room either and the resort is a little out of town so you really need a bike to enjoy the island (the staff can easily sort this for you though!)

The beach was right outside our bungalow. Time seemed to stop.
Air conditioning was a little loud but did not take away from the experience.

Beautiful pool area and sea - perfect for children as lots of shallow options and steps. Best beach on the island.
Staff were incredible and like a big family. Genuinely kind and could not do enough for us.
Tried lots of traditional Thai food here and it was all delicious.
Although the hotel were renovating part of the site, they were very open about this and it did not affect our stay although it will be nice when the restaurant space opens so that you can eat meals with sea views.
Would highly recommend.
Coffee at the pool bar was cracking. Belting cappuccino and lovely smoothies.

The food was amazing, we ate 6 times there and it was incredibly good all the time. The dishes were our favourite ones in thailand yet and the staff was very nice. Also everything was clean and the hotel is beautiful.

The view from the pool & beach access was spectacular. Staff very friendly & helpful. Location good but need motor bike or car to get around the island. We stayed in a family room which was great, spacious & clean. Good beach & pool access.
Part of the property was under repair but this was well advised in advance & communicated by the staff with discounted food offerings. Didn’t impact our stay.
Beach in parts can be dirty as not all hotels or bars clean in front of their properties, but I u der stand this is seasonal due to wind & sea current conditions. Twin Bay make a great effort to ensure their section of the beach is spotless.

We upgraded to beachfront villas and it was totally worth it to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean and wake up to that view. The staff were very kind and helpful. The pool was a good size (which was especially helpful with lots of kids around). The food at the restaurant was pretty good, too.
The beds were rock hard, so that unfortunately really impacted our ability to rest while there. They were also extremely pushy about the restaurant closing time of 8pm; so much so that one night we were not finished eating and they took our plates and asked us to leave (exactly at 8pm). They say last order is 7:30 but the timing from the kitchen was all over the board and less than 30 minutes to enjoy a meal seems quite strange. I’m not sure what was driving the strict nature of things, but it out a damper on things. If it had not been low season, we would have dined out much more frequently because of this.
This place definitely markets itself as family friendly (there is even a kids room). Though the pool is spacious, the chairs could easily be mostly eaten up by a couple of families of 4-5). If you’re looking for adults only, this is not the vibe (at least in July!). For what we wanted though, it was pretty solid. Definitely bring bug spray!

Location was great with a beautiful beachfront view, and stuff was kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful.
Bed was very hard (typical for Thailand). Bathroom was permanently open-air/vented . Missing a few blocks of wall (with screen, but lacked complete privacy in a central area next to pool).

Food was delicious. Lovely pool. Staff very professional and friendly.
The roofing at the pool area not well maintained. It creates a less positive appearance.

Loved seeing them care for the animals

I'm not a fan of resorts, as I like to go out and about, but my gf wanted to stay in one, so we settled on this place. It was comfortable for us, as the staff left us to ourselves, but if you like to be fussed over, the staff were more than happy to oblige, and we witnessed them engaging positively with other guests. The food and drink was good and appropriately priced, I don't understand previous reviews complaining about "UK prices", you are staying at an upmarket resort, and the prices here are pretty standard for such a place in Thailand, I definitely wouldn't consider it expensive. The beds here are rock hard, typical Thai style (which we loved), and were exceptionally clean, although the rooms could do with a lick of paint (I'm assuming they're waiting until the end of low season to fix this). The swimming pool was clean and deep, although the jacuzzi was not functioning when we tried to use it. Outside, the scenery is absolutely stunning, with plenty of wildlife 24/7. We even witnessed a monitor lizard just along the road from the resort.
During low season nobody clears the area in front by the beach, it's often covered in rubbish and sticks, therefore not particularly nice to go for a walk. We were charged 100B for losing a piece of laminated paper with our room number, which we never requested "in case we forgot our room number for dinner or bar service". You have to take your key with you whenever you leave your room (which has your room number on it), and you are not allowed to have a second key, so this seems a bit pointless and unnecessary.

We stayed here 2 year’s ago. So pleased we decided to return, it’s even better now with some of the small improvements they’ve made.
This resort is clean, friendly, comfortable rooms/beds, fabulous pool which looks out onto the beach / sea. We love walking the beach in the morning & coming back to have an amazing smoothie. We just love this place and highly recommend. Also, only a few minutes from the Night Market which shouldn’t be missed
We couldn’t stay longer

Great spread for breakfast, with a beautiful view! Staff are super friendly. The resort is absolutely amazing. True to its name - the bay is on both sides of the resort, with a beautiful beach on the front. Beautiful rooms, with direct access to the beach.
Everything was amazing.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May and what a wonderful choice it turned out to be. We had initially booked a garden view room but after looking around the resort we found that the sea facing rooms were wonderfully located. We asked for an upgrade and for 500 THB a night we moved into the sea facing rooms. Money very well spent. The room was functional, tidy, with a very comfortable bed, a huge sofa and a fabulous sit out with recliners facing the sea.
Noteworthy, was the attitude and behavior of the staff. Always smiling, helpful and friendly, esp Moo, Nick and Alisa from front office and Bees from the wait staff. Housekeeping staff were very efficient too. Their response to messaging on Whattapp was fast and accurate.
The food from the kitchen was fantastic and they could prepare the dishes you wanted even if it was not in the menu. Breakfast was really great. I'm stating this in spite of it being low season where there was no buffet breakfast but the staff did not let you miss it, as they were always obliging in their attitude.
The location is absolutely on a quiet secluded beach, not the cleanest that I've seen in Thailand, and the nearest big store (Lanta Mart) or 7 Eleven is about 1.5 kms away. There are scooters available on hire, and Moo was so helpful when she showed us one.
There is also a wonderful restaurant, Kho Kwang, 800 meters away, from where we got to see some of the most beautiful sunsets.
The beach was not one of the cleanest we have seen in Thailand

Pool overlooking the beach nice and quiet!
Out of season late May not many bars open nearby!

We Booked the Hotel in Low season for low price. There is a pool to relax, but also the Beach in Front of the hotel. So you can see the ocean while in the pool. The staff is very friendly and always smile. The rooms were quite clean. The breakfast was also good. I, especially, Like the Curry at the Buffet.
Beware: the hotel is Not close to they Center, so you would need a scooter to get around the Island The Hotel also offers to Rent motorbikes, but there are also cheaper options. Overall really nice and clean hotel, but the prices during high Season Are quite high.
The coffee machine would need a renewal, but still makes good coffee.

It's a quiet resort off on the peninsula. Commute to and from Saladan town is easy, either on foot or by tuk (~50 baht). Just a bit over 2km I think. I went diving on several days, which required getting up early. Being near Saladan pier allowed me to get just a little bit more sleep each day.
Room was very spacious for one person (or two, I imagine). There's the stone floor at the entrance and extending into the bathroom, and there's a raised wooden floor section for the desk, bed, and sofas. It effectively separates wet from dry and is a very nice design IMO. The desk was at the right height to use my laptop comfortably, which is thoughtful for unfortunate people like me who still have to do some work on vacations. The bed was large and very comfy with the right balance between softness and firmness.
Any avid swimmer would be very happy with the arrangement like I was. There's a fresh water main rectangular pool (and a couple of small ones) with generous opening hours. And if you wish to jump in the sea it's literally a few steps away; they got showers too for when you come back. Restaurant and bar are right by the pool, which is convenient. They got plenty of bean bags and lounge chairs too (including some on the rooftop terrace of the bar!) if you need to take a break.
Staff was super warm and helpful. Front desk employees generally speak very good English. Others not as much (e.g. restaurant staff), but they all did their best to communicate and help.
Toilet area had a light sewage smell. Ventilation fan helped.
I did have to kill a cockroach in the bathroom, but it's not too surprising for a ground level flat. Not great, not terrible. Could be a problem for a squeamish person though.
Restaurant is on the expensive side compared to Saladan town. But it's to be expected for a resort like this IMO.
It would be helpful if they installed a cash point / ATM at the resort. I was low on cash and was told I needed to go to Saladan town to withdraw money. Not a huge bother but still worth bringing up.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The manager gave us lots of information about the area and helped us arrange taxis and hire a 4x4 for the day which allowed us to explore the island.
The hotel itself is a little far from bars and restaurants without having to pay for taxis.
The hotel resturant is quite poor we attempted to order a few dishes but they said they had run out so we ended up going else where. The price of the food and drinks were ridiculously expensive for Koh Lanta same price as you woukd pay in the UK.
The bungalows are equipped with everything you'd expect however the interior could do with a paint. The first impressions weren't great with stains all over the walls and bedside tables which could easily have been sorted with a fresh coat of paint.
When the cleaners clean your rooms they leave the doors wide open which leaves all the mosquitos and geckos in. We had lots of bites because of this.
The pool is a good size and it's nice and clean. But the sun loungers are under a canopy so are always in the shade. It would be better to have umbrellas so people have a choice if they want to sunbath or be shaded.
The drinks particularly the cocktails are extremely expensive, high end beach club prices and not very good to be honest.
Good shower, great water pressure the best we've had whilst travelling Thailand.
There's no phone in your room so any issues you have to walk all the way to reception and sometimes have to go find someone if not at the desk.
The door locks behind you instantly so do the patio doors which is a pain because you get locked out easily.
There's a safe in the room and an umbrella for the rainy days.
They also provide a bottle opener which is a great touch.
The hotel gardens are lovely and well maintained.
The staff work really hard and are always smiling and very helpful.
- Dirty paint work in the room which could easily be fixed with a coat of paint. I didn't expect this tbh paying what we did I expected the rooms to be pristine.
- No atmosphere around the pool, could easily be fixed with some music.
- Resturant has poor meal choices, runout of lots of things on the menue, closes early and is extremely expensive for the quality of dishes they do offer. UK prices !
- Cocktails are poor quality and extremely expensive.
-Reception is not 24 hrs and only security in the evening.
- No live TV channels, you could only access you tube and your own netflix and Amazon accounts.
-Hotel is too remote and in my opinion not worth value for money.
