This is a large older style resort that is very child friendly. Very clean with spacious rooms.

Room was really nice with the pool, althought the air-conditioning smelt awful but the location was great

Very rude staff and poor communication, for a five star hotel i expected alot more for the price we paid. The male receptionist was extremely rude and sassy, simple questions like asking where we could get a Christmas card was met with a rude arrogant response, very dismissive and to be honest disrespectful. Such a shame considering its Christmas, We avoided using the hotel’s facilities-towards the end because the service was extremely poor. We did try treat ourselves to banana fritters one afternoon in the way back and we waited a hour for these, when served it was raw dough in the inside, when taken up to the restaurant the young lady who served it to us was very apologetic, when she raised this to the older woman who seemed to be in-charge i was met with a disgusted stair and a shake of a head. I did make it clear not to worry about it but the woman in charge insisted she will make ‘more’, so we waited again. 20 minutes later the woman in charge came to our table and repeated, ‘cancel, i cancel’… Very confused and disappointed to be honest, these are just a few examples. Theres miscommunication then theres just being rude and ignorant, Im not one to ever complain, but seeing at it was Christmas and the amount if money we paid. Im very dissatisfied with my experience here.

Gym was old and didn’t really function. Air conditioning very noisy, when it rained the noise from the plastic roof was very loud.

For a 5 star rated hotel, gold rated pool side room ..the furniture in the room is a bit tired, WiFi not great , we were opposite breakfast room which opened early and they play loud bass music, so as a light sleeper..not much after 6am…it’s ok.. not 5 star in my mind..but ok. Pity it rained for 3 days in a row out of the 6 days…not that’s the hotels fault…would advise December onwards.

Staff closed up the beach pool bar 20 minutes before closing time and then refused to serve us a drink. Make up room sign on the door and after 2 nights stay it wasn’t cleaned once.

Relaxing, stunning and an unspoilt beautiful island

Lovely staff, beautiful beach and fantastic pools. Very clean and spacious rooms. Very well maintained tropical gardens

We loved the laid back vibe but if you want lively bars, clubs- Lanta is not the island for you. We loved the night market, lots of good beachside restaurants and a cool reggae bar

Lovely stay, wish we could of stayed longer

Lovely hotel, on a beautiful beach.. Good swimming pools. We stayed in a gold suite with swim up pool, which I would highly recommend. Read lots of reviews before we went saying it wasn't a 5 star hotel, but we can't fault it. And when you take into consideration what you pay, it's great value. Also only short taxi journey from the boat pier, and great location to explore the island. Highly recommend visiting the National Park, Mangroves and have a night at the Thai boxing stadium. Staff were all friendly and polite

This hotel was beautiful with the swim up pool.

There were not many vegetarian options besides raw fruit or vegetables. It was many pork dishes but a few of us don't eat pork. Otherwise very wonderful.

this is not a 5 star luxury property do not be fooled the reviews on booking.com are over two years old. the property it’s tired in need of an upgrade. the food breakfast is a buffet it is served in large metal containers everything from the eggs to the waffles where cold every morning. the coffee is served from a giant tea urn it is hot water and instant coffee and it is Luke warm at best lunch is served at the main pool area the menu looks great however when we went to order we where told that only a few select items where available! we had a sandwich as that’s about all that was on offer! dinner is a massive buffet catering for the entire hotel the food goes out at 5pm and it is in the open air until gone 9pm it really is not good. It sells rooms of to TUI the tour group at a cheap rate with food included so unfortunately if you are a full paying guest you get the same options as those of a holiday package. I challenged the manager about my stay wow is all I can say Felix is his name I have a 6 min video of him shouting at me he punched the counter at one point and then told me he is not a rude man he is not Thai like this lot and pointed to staff I am European like you! I have this on video! we left early with no refund they refused to give us one.

I booked a gold room with pool access on a quiet area of the hotel. the room was old and tired. the quiet area is anything but. their are signs up to say no children in this area and quiet area only. however this is not the case their are children everywhere indeed the rooms all around us had direct pool access but where all full of families. as much as kids are great fun I was looking for a relaxing break. the towels in the room and at the pool are the same the kind that do not dry you no matter how hard you try! they are thin and well used older than the property! the breakfast area is in the quiet area so all morning you have to share your balcony with over a hundred guests eating until 10:30 then the kids take over the pool! I we also had a couple of lizards swimming about the pool daily! this is a family fun hotel and no more than that. it’s clean to a degree but definitely not to a high standard. I like kids I have some 🙈 but I booked this as 5 star quiet and it is not what we got. I could never recommend this place to anyone and I would say the manager is a bit wild if you need to chat to him about anything. I made the mistake of reading the first few reviews on booking.com about the property they looked good after I read more on line I wish I did that first prior to booking. it was non refundable and the manager refused to let me out of that. I paid just short of £900.00 uk pounds for 6 nights the manager said to me this was cheap and asked me what is your problem! it is a small amount of money is what he said! we just left early and lost ourmoney and stay it was not worth staying. after we left the property Felix sent me a private SMS to my personal phone which was insulting to say the least and had nothing to do with hotel business. I had to contact booking.com and ask them to contact him and ask to never ever send me personal texts or messages again. it had nothing to do with our stay or the hotel it was just creepy and insulting.

Nice staff but overall not so nice experience

The host and other personel really try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The silver suite that I booked was nice. I enjoyed having a balcony.

I was unaware however that part of the resort was closed due to renovations. Much needed though as during my stay I trouble with the toilet and the bathwater would not get warmer then lukewarm at best. The gym is a total joke as most of the equipment is broken. Actually everything felt a bit outdated and rusty. The beds by the pool, the spa, even the door to the balcony seems to be past due maintenance. Would not be such an issue if you get the room for a bargain but, especially looking at the Thai prices, its rather expensive. I did not try their restaurant as it was empty every time I walked by at night. Seems that the few guests that stayed at Chada decided to dine elsewhere just like me.

was inexpensive to stay and in a good location, overall was ok but needs modernising and very run down area

bed was very comfortable, reception staff were nice and location was great, good view of the sunset on the beach.

felt very run down, not particularly well kept grounds. quite old traditional design could use with touching up and modernising. room smelt quite musty due to old furniture as well as old furniture on the balcony. most of the hotel facilities are not operating or open such as the main dining area, breakfast was limited and did not seem fresh.

Utmärkt för barnfamiljer med flera pooler på området.

Lysande frukostbuffé där allt från frukost till middag ingår. Frukt att ta med till rummet eller stranden.

Wifi ganska dåligt med svag täckning. Fick låna en router mot deposition THB 1000 till villan, gick något bättre men dåligt på kvällen.

Vi skulle være der 4 dage men måtte desværre tjekke ud efter en nat da jeg blev indlagt på hospital på fastlandet.

Der er smukt og dejligt ro. Lige ud tav vandet. Smuk solnedgang. Smukt beplantet. Har været der for 2 år siden og kommer gerne igen

Hotellet har ett jättebra läge,har bott 4 ggr här. Upplever nu att det behöver renoveras fräschas upp lite.

Solsängarna behöver bytas ut.Vid fukosten kunde man tidigare sitta ute. Detta kunde man inte i år lite synd.

Bien situé, belle vue et belle plage

Dans l’ensemble, l’établissement paraît assez vétuste. Les chambres sont relativement bruyante entre la climatisation et les murs très fins. Le petit déjeuner est généreux mais pas très qualitatif. On s’attend à mieux dans un hôtel de ce standing.
