Rooms and pools needed a bit of maintenance, we got upgraded to a pool villa which was lovely but the pool itself was dirty and we didn’t use it. There was also an issue with people reserving sunloungers despite signs saying this wasn’t allowed, as there are limited numbers

Would recommend 🏝️

Very friendly staff, clean facilities, the pictures from the site match the reality. The garden pool had good sun-bed accessibility. The beach is very close and also has sun-beds. Excellent breakfast Good location - it is a 5-7 min ride from the town, walking street etc. , but they have a tuk-tuk “hub” at the hotel, so it is very easy (and cheap) to get a ride.

The beds in the room (garden villa) were very hard (also compared to other hotels in Thailand). Also, we had trouble with the booking process but could not get help from the hotel. 1) When we booked through booking.com we got a confirmation email, but suddenly the booking had disappeared. It turns out the booking was cancelled (we did not get a cancellation email, the booking just appeared to be cancelled on booking.com app). We called booking.com, they were kind to help, but could not do anything since it was a third party, that had cancelled the booking since the room suddenly was no longer available. It still appeared available on the site though. When we called the hotel there were no help from the front desk, they just said that we should book another room through booking.com. (Hotels here rather want you to book with booking.com than at the hotel itself because of the algorithm). We ended up booking a (more expensive) villa instead of a room. 2) We wanted to extend the stay, and the room were available on booking, but front desk could not help. They told us to book at booking.com, which meant that we had to check out at 12 and in again at 15. We did therefore not extend.

Staff and quality of service excellent. Food all of good standard. Just the rooms a little tired.

Location was great on the beach. Bedding,Towels & toiletries were all good quality. Breakfast fantastic all staff were pleasant and very attentive.

For the price I paid booking a superior room I felt it was small poor quality fixtures. Smelt of drains at night. With a lovely big balcony only 2 small chairs no lounge chairs.

Beautiful resort for a perfect sunset view

Our room was beautiful with an incredible bathroom, not just shower and separate bath but had lots of plants growing next to bath, beautiful pools, on the beach and restaurant overlooking sea for great sunset views. They also pick you up from ferry which we took from Gilli Air. Lots of other restaurants and bars if you turn left and walk along the beach. They provide shuttles to the town.

the location and the resort were superb and very clean. The beach was lovely and the range of different accommodation choices were excellent. I will look at others for my return trip ... maybe a beach side bungalow or villa. Having a gym and spa was great and the beach massages....

Not much. The only thing was if you had late check in at night like us there were no provisions for food or room service and other options out with the hotel. It would be good to have some options upon arrival as you are tired and hungry. Having said that the breakfast was amazing and the view was to die for !!!

Clean, decent breakfast, most of the staff were lovely. You’re not far from Saladan which the walking market and there’s some great restaurants in walking distance. We always got sunbeds, the ones around the pool tend to go by 9:30/10, but there’s lots along the beach too. It’s super tranquil. They have water monitor lizards here which I found amazing!

It is a little tired, but still clean and I know they’re refurbishing it. As others have said the drinks/food are more expensive than the others around but there’s happy hour 12-2 and 4-6 every day which we definitely made use of! Most of the staff were really lovely, there was just one moody lady in the bar restaurant!

Excellent breakfast, wonderful room with large comfortable balcony, location was perfect. So relaxing, surrounded by beautiful awesome nature it would be hard to be stressed out here .

Only one small issue. We arrived late, no room service or food available.and the hotel staff didn’t know what was open at that time of night. We had been travelling all day and just wanted to go to our rooms and rest not travel arrived looking for a place to eat. Please arrange a fruit platter or snacks to people arriving late

Beautiful beachfront resort

We got a Garden Villa upgrade which is an amazing room to stay in, very modern and stylish. The beach and the pool are only a few footsteps away, though we preferred the second (smaller) pool in the garden area. The breakfast buffet is huge and fresh. The area is still close enough to restaurants, exchange places and convenience stores to walk.

The pool and beach area could do with a bit updates, but overall everything was great.

Lovely place to stay

Breakfast was good but didn't change much over the five days that we were there. Pool was terrific because there were no kids. Circular pool by the rooms in the back was lovely and quiet. Beach was spectacular with easy swimming, large tides and lots of small beach bars and restaurants to choose from.

While sitting on the beach in hotel chairs or by the pool, restaurant staff did not come around to offer cocktails or refreshments. It was expected that the guests go the restaurant themselves, order then try to explain where they should deliver the drinks/food. We would have ordered much more had the staff came by regularly with options. Happy hour from 12 to 2 seemed like a good idea but ultimately, it is a bit early and would rather see a longer happy hour beginning around 4 pm.

Comfortable stay

Great location. Large breakfast available (albeit the amount of food was in excess, and I wonder the amount of waste that is produced). The hotel could increase its knowledge of allergens. I have coeliac disease and advised the hotel ahead of time. Unfortunately not much was done to accommodate this proactively, eg had to ask for GF bread (which wasn’t available on the first day) and didn’t list any allergens in each of the dishes so had to ask and the chefs were not very knowledgeable about gluten (modern restaurants these days do proactively list allergens on a card per dish).

Nice stay with a good location, breakfast and lovely beach

There was peace and quiet and a nice resort with lots of wildlife delicious breakfast area. Staff very polite and helpful

So annoying to start your vacation with so many problems with the room. It's like the cheapest rooms are being downgraded. Waiting for something to be fixed 1. Aircondition did not work properly 2 times. Second time no one showed up at all. 2. We never had hot water at the time we were there also when they said it would be/was fixed 3. Difficulty to get a parasol if you were not there early morning. I waited for one 2 hours but it was fixed though.

A decent stay in Koh Lanta

The property overall is quite beautiful and give you access to not only the infinity pool but also a very clean beach. Location-wise, it's very close to Saladan pier in the North, which is where all the ferries and speedboats from Phuket / Phi Phi dock. The island itself is quite small and most locations on it will take you no more than 15 mins to reach via bike or taxi. The reception and travel desk were quite helpful. You can rent bikes or book your transfers for a reasonable amount, which is not always the case in these resorts. The attached spa is quite good as well with experienced masseuses - my wife and I went for the deep relaxation thai massage and came out refreshed. The staff are attentive and the sunbeds laid out on the beach gave us a great view of the sunset every evening.

The bathroom had the previous resident's hair clogging it up on day 1 which was pretty gross. The fan on our patio had a rusted speed control chain which wasn't hygienic. The food at the restaurant is quite so-so, but that is par for the course in these type of resorts, I've found. The resort did not offer any lifeguards at the beach, which was quite odd - most resorts with private beach accesses also station lifeguards for safety there. The room amenities were good, but everything was a step short of being great. I have stayed in many luxury resorts in this and slightly more expensive price ranges, and unfortunately Twin Lotus would rate at the bottom of the list in terms of luxury or value for money.

Great stay. Kids love the plunge pool. We love the beach

The room is good, better than in the picture. The hotel is well maintained. The hotel beach was wonderful. The staff are great.

1. The main bed was too soft and the pillow was not comfortable although we were given many pillows. 2. The room was quite far from the beach, I think it was for a different hotel. 3. We understand that the hotel do not provide Halal breakfast, but they also assure that is no pork serve in the menu. But there were pork served for breakfast. We don't mind about not taking the hotel breakfast although we paid for it. But the hotel should not give wrong information. 4. Although kids are allowed to stay, but it is still an adult hotel, not much things facilities for the kids.

Loved every minute of our stay

We loved everything. The room was beautiful with our own plunge pool and outdoor bathroom area. Staff were very nice. The breakfast was excellent, one of the best we had in Thailand. Good facilities also with multiple pools, beach, gym, spa etc. They have everything really

The resort has a beautiful pool and beach. I read many bad reviews about the Private room type so I paid extra to get a Deluxe Double room. Bed is comfortable and the room has big terrace. Decent breakfast. Staff are friendly.

The bathroom has a very stupid design to have a glass ceiling which the sun heats up the room and all toiletries products. Housekeeping didn’t provide me any slippers and toothbrush set for two days until I ask. I have my own toothbrush but I need the toothpaste. The fitness room is small. The Deluxe Double is also smaller than what photos show. They have scooters for rental but they charger 50 bahts extra than others per day. Wifi works on and off and slow. Housekeeping doesn’t make up the room thoroughly.

4 stars for local standard resort in Thailand which connects to the long beach with stunning sunset spot. Highlights are the swimming pool closed to the beach, large room and convenience to Phi Phi & Koh Haa.

The service for example golf cart, staffs may not as fast as international chain hotel. Breakfast is decent with choices of Thai & American breakfast.

Great resort to relax for a couple of days in Koh Lanta.

The resort is big! You can book a massage at their Spa located on the resort. Which is quite expensive but good. The pool is great with a very nice view on the sea. The villa is very spacious and has a very comfy bed, finally a bit softer bed than the other hotels have. Breakfast is okay, nothing really special. There is a travel agent in the lobby everyday where you can book every kind of trip or scooter. This was really great and they pick you up at the enterende of the hotel.

The shower was not that good, it was not really powerful.

Amazing resort with excellent staff and beautiful garden

Beautiful garden area, nice pool just by the beach, excellent breakfast, good gym and garden villa was superb. Also have to give 5/5 for the staff who were so friendly and helping us with the bookings etc.

Water filter would be nice, so no need to buy plastic water bottles on daily basis. The area would also need a bit of renevation from here and there - especially the tiling near the pool area.

An amazing hotel. great service and kind staff, the breakfast buffet is very diverse relatively to hotels in Thailand and the food is excellent. moreover the beach restaurant of the hotel simply has amazing food, pricey but worth every penny. we also rented a scooter from the hotel- an agency that works with them. quite simple but be advised, no insurance(they let you know this before you rent) so drive safe.

Great experience, but...

Wonderful resort, very green. It has three swimming pools and the location, right in front of the beach, is the most valuable part. The rooms are cozy, the beds are huge and comfortable. As many toiletries and accessories as you can possibly need. The breakfast included needs special mention: the richest and tastiest I had in years. The staff will always try to provide the best service and everyone will salute you with a big smile.

The shower is the worst part of it all. From a 4 star resort, I was expecting an amazing shower. It was spacious, but very basic. Also the temperature of the water was constantly shifting from hot to cold, making the experience very unpleasant. The bar at the beach is wonderful but very pricey for the average. The WiFi, at least in our room, was basically useless. To download 300MB of data it would take hours. In the communal areas, it would work fine. In general it was a nice stay, but I am not expecting this sort of problems in a 4 star resort.

Biggest disappointment in Thailand.

Good location , nice beach, hotel has big territory. Clean room, comfortable bed. We liked food. Staff friendly and helpful.

We ordered deluxe double room, according information in Booking.com system it had to be 70 m2 with living area. In reality we got 18 m2 room , no living area , room was so small , that was not option to open luggage. We calculated room size together with bathroom, terrace and corridor and size was only 53 m2., There is no advantage to get customers using mis information. At the end of the day both customer and host remains unhappy. Advice - if You have only 2 such type rooms available show that at Booking.com system , don’t try to catch customer using misleading information.

Truly wonderful week here

Quiet with no screaming kids. Stunning grounds. Lovely friendly staff. Great spa. Very good breakfasts. Had a private pool room and loved cooling off in the plunge pool.

Found the air conditioning too strong. Lowest fan setting was very high. Could be greener with glass instead of plastic bottles. But management was open to this.

overpriced and very average

I think the resort is ok, but what i liked most was the location, a bit away from the “main” part of the beach.

It’s a bit depersonalized, the staff shows any interest in you only when you check-in, then basically no contact with the personnel. it would be a good thing if one had some kind of proper information about the hotel. instead while checking in they show you briefly a map of the resort (you don’t get one and there is no available in a room), so on the first day you feel a bit lost. breakfast is average, every day mostly this same with slight variations. rooms are ok but not great. i booked a beachfront villa and I regret it, it was the most expensive option and the worst I guess. Villas are tightly packed, a little privacy and not that much space. The sunbeds on the porch of villa are extremely uncomfortable, the aircon very noisy and blowing very fiercely straight into the bed. The level of services provided doesn’t exactly match the price of the hotel, I would expect more. while checking out the staff didn’t even bothered to ask if i need a taxi or someone to help me with the luggage. honestly very average experience.

Really good location

The location right on the beach was perfect and really easy to get into Saladan by Tuk Tuk for the pretty little night market and a few lovely spots to eat and drink. The accommodation and the gardens were great. We did have to change rooms though. The room we paid for (deluxe double) looked nothing like the room we were given, much smaller, in fact. We were given a free upgrade to a garden villa which was excellent. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The service and the food in the restaurant was a little hit and miss and also overpriced.
