Twin Lotus Resort and Spa (Adult Only / November to April)

All round was good tbh, clean and enjoyable place, i definitely would choose it again

This was an amazing experience and a wonderful peaceful resort. From the moment we checked in until check out. We were there for our 20th anniversary and they upgraded us to an amazing private villa with our own private plunge pool and bathroom all outside. I can’t think of anything that was terrible. Staff were friendly, great breakfast and close with tuk tuk to Saladan market/ walking street.

Wonderful people and a lovely hotel. Everything was nice a quiet for the whole trip and the location right next to the beach was brilliant. Breakfast in the morning was great, but otherwise food was just okay - definitely recommend checking out the local places for dinner instead! Rooms were small for the price (we had the Garden Villa) but functional and clean. I used the laundry service whilst we were there which was quick and reasonably priced. You could likely get it cheaper by going to one of the local places (where you pay per kg) but it was nice to have it delivered to the room. We organised a transfer through them from Krabi Airport which was well worth the price as it’s a long drive (~2 hours). We also used the hotel to help organise a hire car to drive and see the island which was seamless. We would definitely return if visit Krabi again!

Overpriced for what it is. Don't get me wrong the place is not that bad but heavily overpriced. Cleanness: Unfortunately when I arrived the bathroom wasn't clean (toothbrush glass was still full with toothpaste from previous customer, toilet, shower, the counters, bathtub...) . Not great but no big deal. So informed them to please send someone. They did so but unfortunately it was almost the same still. Only the toilet has been cleaned. This is what disappointed me. It can happen that something gets overlooked but if it still isn't fixed after the second time I simply don't regard it was acceptable. Especially not for a hotel in this price range. But it's not just the cleanness. Breakfast: It's ok. That really covers it. There is absolutely nothing special or exciting to tell about it. They have an egg station, 3 different fruits, some cereals... Basically the same is offered by low budget places. OK but Mediocre. Pool: Sure looks nice. But if you look a little more carefully. The tiles inside the pool are actually full with plants (algae). Again for a hotel which charges 100 Euro + for a standard room this is simply not what a customer would expect. The room itself was fabulous. The checking and the friendliness of everyone was great, too. As I said. It's ok but just not worth the money (paid 100 euro+)

Glorious location. Lovely beach and pool area. Fabulous sun sets. Walking distance to local restaurants and bars.

It definitely has a hostel feel. The room we got seemed new and was super cute with a private pool and outdoor washroom. The other buildings, main building with restaurant and bar, definitely needs an upgrade ! No darts for the dart table and a pool table that needs to be replaced. The whole property is pretty decayed but the room was great. We didnt eat here except breakfast which was ok. We switched rooms as they upgraded us to ocean view but it was very dungeony and I dont think the bed linens were changed. We changed back to the newer rooms with outdoor washroom. Dirty beach with garbage. The layout is really weird as well ... overall needs an upgrade but youre going out everyday and only need a place to sleep Id say book in the newer rooms.

The property itself is is spilt in two.. the new lodges where we stayed and the older restaurant/dining area. Where we ate our Breakfast was quite dated in comparison to where we were staying. Over all it was very nice.

Service at the hotel is good, we had a problem with the air conditioner in our room but it was fixed quickly. Transfer to the next island was arranged quickly, easily and cheaply via the hotel tour desk, very helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast was great choice and quality even for vegetarians. Pools and sun beds are great. Nearby restaurants are good and a short walk along the beach or down the street. Very quiet but that’s what we wanted. Lovely relaxing stay. Good value.

We stayed at the Twin Lotus Resort for our honeymoon. We booked an oceanfront room. The room was beautiful, and view was spectacular. Breakfast every morning was delicious, there were tons of options and service was fantastic. The only issue we had during our stay is the first night we arrived when they were having a BBQ buffet out on the beach. We checked in around 8pm and when we checked in the concierge told us about the beach buffet and that it was going on until 10pm. We arrived at the buffet at 8:30pm with barely any food left. The server told us the buffet ended at 9pm, and that they wouldn't be replenishing any of the buffet anymore. We were disappointed but then decided to just order off the regular menu because we were tired from traveling all day. The food off the menu was not good, and the service was terrible. Our server didn't even say hello or goodbye to us. No thank you or anything. She just asked what we wanted, walked away.. dropped off food & drinks and then walked away.. handed us our bill and then walked away. We expected more for how much we were paying. We went to the front desk the next morning to tell them what happened and all we got was a quick apology. The rest of the stay was great, but not a great first night being welcomed on our honeymoon.

The pool was stunning and the morning breakfast had alot to choose from. The walk from the rooms in the back was pleasent. The staff were so helpful and nice.

I really recommend this hotel and will stay here again if I get the chance to go to Koh Lanta in the future. We had booked a five night stay in a superior room and spent first two nights in room 213 (not 100% of the exact room number). It was a good room but a bit too far from the sea and the entrance to the resort so we upgraded to a beachfront villa (not 709) and stayed there for the following days, and we even stayed four nights longer because we felt so at ease. We are happy with everything at Twin Lotus! Great coffee at the breakfast, brilliant massage at the spa (well worth the extra money), peaceful area and lovely pool and beach. I have nothing bad to say at all about Twin Lotus. For our month in Phuket and Koh Lanta this was the best hotel!

I was quite worried arriving at this resort given some of the very negative reviews recently, especially centring around the "upgrading" of rooms to the new part of the resort. We were upgraded in the end from our booked Superior rooms to Private Pool Deluxe Rooms in this new part. This bit of the resort used to be an adjoining property (Pilanta) but was in November 2018 completely renovated and is now a proper part of Twin Lotus. These rooms are equidistant from the beach as the Superior/"garden" rooms. They are based around a lovely large pool. Although at the back of the resort they are only approx. 4 mins walk (even in the heat!) from reception/breakfast/pool/beach area. There are golf buggies if you don't want to walk. The private outdoor bathroom/lounging area with private pool was lovely and not overlooked by anyone. I was worried about mosquitos but was not troubled at all. The room was spotless and promptly cleaned everyday. The complimentary water in the fridge everyday was a nice touch. The bed was SUPER comfy! Really nice and quiet part of the resort. The air con was very effective. My only room gripe was the pool was not cleaned despite putting the "please clean my pool" sign daily. There was a lot of grime on the tiles above the water level, so this needed a good scrub. The breakfast was pretty good, however annoying that at 9.30am there were low/no stocks of lots of things and breakfast runs until 10.30am. Staff biggest disappointment as not very friendly.

This was a lovely resort with the friendliest, most helpful staff. That said, my friend and I booked the beach front suite, wanting to spend the money for this room upgrade. We requested two twins, but were told those were fully booked when we arrived. They did however move us the next day. Also, our room was next to some construction materials, which given what we paid, was disappointing. Otherwise, the hotel property was beautiful. Although we loved the hotel overall, we did not feel we got our $$$ worth with that specific room.

Great place to stay, the island is bigger than we expected, but the hotel was really beautiful and well maintained. Our room was right on the edge and we would have preferred one a bit closer to the pool and beach. The breakfast was good quality and the food at the cafe on the beach was also decent. The weather on the islands was a bit up and down at this time of year with rain and wind occasionally, but very warm and humid. Some days were beautifully sunny. The wifi in the hotel was quite poor and this was the most disappointing thing for us as it dropped out quite a lot and was slow when it was connected.
