Review of Banana Beach Resort Ko Lanta

The location on the beach in Ko Lanta was very good. The morning breakfast served by thr athai staff was also very good.

The villas were quite worn out and dated. For example the safe in the room was sitting loose so not usable. The sink faucet was loose as was the sink for that matter. It showed lack of attention to detail when they could be tightened. Thr neighbours in the villa next door had their child screaming all hours of the day and nite and there was noa staff to deal with this. The pool also didn't look clean. Unfortunately the woman running the resort was also unfriendly and her main issue with us was making sure we got out on time today so they could clean up. That said it is in a beautiful area.

Great budget hotel but with some big let-downs.

The location of this hotel is great, lots of restaurants and facilities close by. The location on the beach is beautiful. The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The pool is dated and rather unsafe for small children with sharp edges and with sides so high that steps is the only way out. The beds were very hard - but I find that is quite common in Thailand.

Banana beach is a lovely resort right by the beach. The pool was great, and there's lots of shade to provide cover from the blazing sun. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Some nice restaurants a short walk away along the beach.

Super family friendly with a great play area right by the restaurant, the staff were really child friendly and the beach was great for other bar and restuarant options while the kids played on the beach

the bunk bed was really high up so we ended up putting one mattress on the floor. The double bed was very comfortable, but the single beds were very soft, didn't seem to bother the kids though!

Exceptional

Pool, breakfast, hot water, AC, beach view (and 30sec walk to beach), friendly/helpful staff, and onsite Thai massages with ocean view/sounds. There was also a restaurant onsite, as well as nearby along the beach and the main roadway. You can enjoy a fire show around 8pm most nights, too!

Bed was pretty firm and sheets could've been a bit fresher. There was a slight musky smell but it could've been from the humidity. Still comfortable! Maybe include smaller pillows since the firm bed and thick, firm pillow combo was a bit rough on my neck. I'm also a side sleeper so it may affect people differently.

This place was probably nice some time ago, but currently it is completely overcrowded. Busy street nearby, (too) many families with kids, swimming pool full all the time, loud... I am not a complainer usually, but in this case one can tell they are just a victim of their own success. Managers were super friendly and helpful. Mosquitoes in the rooms, net over our bed super dirty and stinky - this is sth unacceptable.

Very Nice place

Nice staff, very helpfull, Nice Warm swimmingpool, many families with kids, cosy atmosphere, relaxed, good at helping with transfer, boat, scooters. Okay restaurant with good prices. Food ordinary- not exceptionel, but walk Down the Beach and you Will find many alternatives. We had 6 very days there to relax and see the Island.

Rooms a little small for family on 4 people. A little noise from children early in the morning. Bad internet Many mosqitoes. Beach is not best at the resort, but Wall 200 meters to the right and it is much more beautiful and pure sand

Superb value for money. Very child friendly and relaxed. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Everything is easily accessible. On a fantastic beach with plenty going on if you fancy being entertained. Also very peaceful.

Es war für uns nicht ersichtlich, das Bananabeach ein Kinderhotel ist. Soviele schreiende, bockige Kinder und überforderte Eltern habe ich noch nie erlebt. Bin selbst Vater bzw Grossvater.

Wij zouden hier nooit meer boeken.

Het is leuk voor de kindjes om te spelen en een lekker ontbijt maar daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Wij zijn op doorreis en hebben meerdere verblijven gehad maar dit was veruit het slechtste (wel de goedkoopste). Dames bij het ontbijt waren wel erg lief.

De gehele accommodatie is erg verouderd en de bedden zijn enorm hard. In Thailand zie je wel vaker verschillen maar dit vonden wij enorm. Deur kapot, safety box kapot, werd niets mee gedaan. Was weggebracht, kwamen ze weer vies terug brengen. Banana beach bevindt zich naast een open riool en het stinkt er behoorlijk. Zwembad was vies en de gasten moesten dit zelf maar een beetje schoon maken met een schepnet. ‘Ne grote koeft ist.

Przy samej plaży, z widokiem na zachód slonca, plac zabaw to game changer, resort zdecydowanie dla rodzin. Restauracja przy resorcie na prawdę dobra z francuskimi I tajskimi daniami.

Basen mógłby byc częściej/lepiej czyszczony. Pokoje sa niezbyt ustawne. Śniadania sa glownie na słodko, owoce i tosty. Czuć nieprzyjemny zapach brudnej wody.

Trevlig personal, frukosten var OK men det som gjorde den OK var att man fick stekt ägg eller omelett, annars rätt trist.

Struttura fatiscente, siamo rimasti solo tre notti, primo giorno bagno allagato, perdeva la cassetta del wc. Puzza di fogna dal bagno. Nessun set di cortesia, la porta d ingresso è marcia, mi è rimasta in mano la maniglia. Pulizia della camera abbastanza ridicola, il secondo giorno al ritorno dal mare mancava l acqua in tutta la struttura ed è tornata verso le 22. Ci siamo dovuti lavare con le bottiglie di acqua da bere per poter uscire a cena. Lasciate perdere

Einfache Bungalows, nette Anlage

Super freundliches Personal, leckeres Frühstück - vor allem die Waffeln. Zimmer einfach ausgestattet, aber ausreichend. Wir waren das 2. Mal hier und würde wiederkommen.

Es könnte etwas sauberer sein, vor allem auf der Terrasse, die wird etwas vernachlässigt. Schade dass die Hängematten im Garten nicht mehr da sind.
