The hotel is really close to the beach where you have a lot of services like mini market ,pharmacy, massages and of course the restaurant and bar of the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they can help you with organizing tours, excursions or renting scooters/cars. Prices are super fair. (250BTH for the scooter 1 day). Every day they organize bbq on the beach and fire show.

The room was a bit dirty for what we expected, there was a termite tunnel on top of the door. Bed sheets had some dirty spots but they were smelling cleaned . Food is not the best you can find on the island but also not bad.

Exceptional hospitality and perfect sunset views

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Klongdao Sunset Villa and can’t say enough good things about it. The staff are incredibly lovely, warm, and genuinely friendly — they truly made our stay special and made us feel at home from the very first moment. The villa was spotlessly clean, and our room was very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped with air conditioning. Everything was perfectly maintained and felt calm and relaxing. We also rented a scooter directly through the villa, which was super easy, very convenient, and offered at a really good price — such a smooth and stress-free experience. One of the highlights was the beautiful sunset, which you can enjoy right at the property. The on-site restaurant and bar are fantastic as well — a lovely place to relax in the evening, enjoy good food and drinks, and watch the sun go down. The location is ideal: close to many great restaurants and shops, yet still peaceful and relaxed. We truly loved our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended! :)

The location on the beach was great. The food at the location was good also. Staff were friendly and helpful and can organise taxi to and from pier etc. There is also a Laundry service on site which is useful.

Rooms and bathroom were a little dated but for the location and price it’s perfect.

Great beachfront location. Decent sized room and bathroom, good value for the price paid. Friendly and helpful staff.

Would not recommend eating at the on site restaurant - it's fine for drinks but the Thai food was bland and tasteless. The windows in the rooms all face the main access paths around the hotel so felt there was a lack of privacy - there are curtains on the windows but closing them meant there was no natural light in the room.

Kind people, great location and service

The best highlight was the staff, they are helpful and communicative, and especially super kind. The hotel is beautiful and the beach and the hotel have a beachfront so at all times of the day I could go for a beach walk and I felt super safe all the time (important for a solo traveler)

Location was great, right on the beach. There was a pharmacy and mini mart right there. The food was good. The staff were great at helping out with places to visit and helped with hiring a motorcycle.

Great little resort right on the beach. Rooms were good size and bed was comfortable. On site restaurant had good food and cheap prices and was right on the beach. BBQ dinners and entertainment most nights. Lovely hosts and staff.

I’m not sure why fly wire isn’t used on windows in Thailand as there were mosquitos in the room at night so just be mindful about keeping your door shut. Typical smell of drains occasionally wafted up through the bathroom - but that happens everywhere.

Would happily stay again

This was one of our favourites stays of the trip! The staff were very friendly, particularly Aek who sorted everything for us from transfers and day trips, he was very helpful and attentive. The sunsets on this beach are incredible, best view of all beaches on Koh Lanta. They do a decently priced beach bbq every night and the food was delicious!

None of these really effected our stay but this place has a lot of potential, so some tips for management: - Furniture and walls in the room were very dated, could do with a refurb. - The place has a massive plot with loads of empty space, should consider getting a pool since there are always jellyfish in the sea there. Adding sunbeds would also add a lot of value. - Unfortunately a couple of the live bands at night were very bad, guitars out of tune and bad singers. It was entertaining but not in the right way. - The tables could use little lanterns on them or candles at night particularly ones that keep flies/mosquitos away, as the other beach bars had these so would attract more people to sit down when they walk past.

Koh Lanta must stay 😍

Amazing location on the most beautiful beach on Koh Lanta. Just walk barefoot to the water from your room. Amazing sunsets and nice quiet surroundings. Staff is so friendly and helpful. Scooter rent and tours csn be arranged by the resort with best price as we also asked around in other places. Stayed extra night as it was so nice. 😍

Only thing maybe is thst the restaurant prices are a bit higher than in other restaurants on the main street. Breakfast was really hoid and big tho.

Fantastic experience, extremely helpfull owners and staff

The owners were extremely helpfull and friendly and did everything they could to provide a fantastic stay. The staff was also very professional .The site provided everything you might need including the possibility to change money, rent motorbikes etc. the restaurant/bar attached to the site was wonderfull as well and the BBQ in the evening really was the cherry on the cake. I would reccomend it to anyone staying in Koh Lanta.

Relaxing on the beach

Great location on Lovely beach.quiet time of the year and not many guests around. The accommodation is undergoing major refurbishment with half of the rooms finished,,new kitchen and bar will look real good when all finished. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Very good hotel to relax in !

The owners were very kind. Their two kids got to play with my daughter and made her day. I like that they had their own restaurant, minimart and massage place inside the hotel. The beach was clean and good to swim in. The sunsets are beautiful. They have the choice for you to rent a scooter and offer taxi service. We came when they were renovating the hotel; since it is low season (August).

Exactly what I expected, I loved it 😊

The location is very good. In the middle of the sandy beach. It's very calm as I was in the low season. The sunset is amazing to view from the bar which is really close to the sea. The bar is very good in foods and drinks too. The staff is super nice :) It's lovely that there is massage service so close.
