A Truly Stunning & peaceful resort 🎏🩵

Peaceful and beautiful resort The resort is located on a very quiet beach in a calm, relaxing area of Koh Lanta making it perfect for a peaceful getaway. The room was very comfortable, and the resort itself is GORGEOUS -best sunset I ever seen ❣️the hotel was well maintained. Breakfast was wonderful with great quality and variety. Service in the restaurant was a bit slow at times, but the night staff were excellent and very attentive. A special mention to the hotel manager, who was professional, kind, and truly made a difference. Overall, a great hotel and a very enjoyable stay.

Koh Lanta luxury

Everything! This is the most luxurious resort we have stayed at. Everything you could ever want or need is taken care of. The chef is fabulous and there is a huge variety of food and drink choices for you. They had theme nights all week long with Thai music and dancing, craft beer night, and a fire show. The pools are large with a mix of fresh and saltwater, although with the sea out your front door, you really won’t need them. We did a 4 hour spa treatment which was well worth the money. The rooms are comfortable and large. They anticipate your every whim! I cannot recommend this resort enough!

Hugely overpriced food and drink - there are much better options cheaper within walking distance along the beach. Also the resort lacks atmosphere in general - a bit cold. Service overall fair but not so good on multiple occasions waiting times etc.

Amazing place, feels more like a retreat than a big resort. A very nice mix of nature, palm trees, small houses with nice design, plus a pool and a beach nearby. Everyone is very nice, you feel welcomed and you can really unwind and relax.

Location and comfort and the staff are so accommodating. The manager Frank is a gem and is very available and always helpful, the pick up at Krabi airport is perfect with a wonderful hotel worker who’s extremely kind. The breakfast is very good and the facilities are top class.

A slice of paradise on Koh Lanta

Everything was amazing at Layana from the second we arrived. The reception staff were so friendly, and we were lucky enough to have our room upgraded to a beach villa which was such a lovely surprise. The room was AMAZING. So comfortable, bathroom of dreams. It was a very rainy few days, and the staff pulled out all the stops to lay on extra activities (cocktail making, extra happy hours, spa discounts…) and even gave us a deck of uno to keep us busy! Location brilliant, pool brilliant, warm coconut scrub & massage brilliant!

Wonderful stay at the Layana!

Excellent stay at this beach resort! Booked 3 nights with my wife as part of our Krabi trip, and our expectations were definitely met. The entire team is so friendly and helpful. The resort grounds are green and very quiet. We had dinner on the beach 2 nights and all the food options were really good! The room was spacious and with all the extra's you'd expect (robes, slippers, coffee machine, free water)

perhaps only that the spa prices were the highest we've encountered all trip (2000THB+), and the location and look of it didn't invite us to try see if its worth it. But I'm sure its wonderful :)

Beautiful quiet luxury retreat

Everything was perfect, from arrival to departure we felt personally catered to in every way. The rooms were beautiful, and so are the pools leading straight out to the beach where the sun sets exactly in front. All the staff are the kindest and most helpful people. We would love to stay here again.

An excellet oasis for travellers looking for calm and luxurious stay

The resort is directly on a beach, with prime access to the sea. Rooms are spacious and modern, with large bathrooms. They contain all the equipment and the staff were regularly asking for any additional items. Breakfast selection was superb, the lunch and dinner menu was carefully crafted in a combination of local and international meals. Several pools and spa facilities offer superb relaxation options for all guests.

The grounds of this resort are absolutely beautiful, very picturesque and so well kept. Spa and gym facilities excellent. From the minute we arrived staff were very welcoming, cannot do enough for you, so friendly, attentive and make your stay very enjoyable. Different activities on in the evenings most of the week such as fire shows.

If you are in Koh Lanta, this is the only place to go

Everything was perfect, and the service is 10 out of 10. The room is spacious and beautiful, super clean and maintained, they clean it twice a day. The staff is just adorable, super polite and willing to help. The breakfast has many options and extras. The it really feels like they thought of every single little detail to make our stay perfect.

The restaurant is a bit over priced and not worth it. Although the food is very aesthetic and fresh, the taste is mediocre and doesn’t justify the high rates. With that being said, the restaurant’s staff was meticulous and amazing, and still managed to give me the best experience. It’s really the dishes themselves that can be elevated.

Honeymoon in paradise

Everything exceeded our expactations. From the moment we arrived and got a flower chain, until the moment franck waved us goodbye we felt like in a dream. The hotel is very clean and well taken care off. The service is exceptional and everyone is very warm and welcoming. They had a daily egg special for breakfast and a food variety of western breakfast options but also thai food like curry or fried rice. At the beach and by the pool we always got free water and refills. The beach is clean and very beautiful. We never used our own terrace and sunbeds but its definitely a nice plus if you want some more privacy during your stay

The perfect resort - exceeded all expectations

The staff members were lovely and made sure we'll have the perfect stay - the resort is pretty small so there really is a personal treatment. Pool was big and with amazing view, great sunsets. The breakfast, the restaurant and the bar were very good. Each evening there was a fire show, traditional Thai music or something else to make dinner at the restaurant special. We also loved our room (it was cleaned twice a day) and the bed was very comfortable.

The prices at the bar and restaurant are significantly higher than other restaurants on the island. It is partly justified in the sense that the restaurant has great Thai food and is beautiful, but it didn't make a lot of sense when there was construction near by. Overall when there wasn't any construction - we still loved eating at the hotel's restaurant

Relaxing beachfront resort with gorgeous sunsets, great pools, and an amazing spa

We really enjoyed our stay at Layana Resort. The location is perfect, just steps from the beach with stunning sunsets every evening. The resort has two beautiful pools, making it easy to relax and unwind, and I also treated myself to a spa massage, which was incredible. For exploring the island, there’s a convenient motorcycle rental just outside the resort. A truly relaxing and well-located spot in Koh Lanta!

Rooms very spacious and comfy. Staff extremely helpful and thoughtful. Check in experience very nice. Pool is stunning and very relaxing. Good size gym. Overall very quiet and relaxing but not far to the bars/restaurants.

The rooms overall were clean but not amazing (mould in showers, dirty mirrors, we had a dirty towel provided but that did get replaced). Laundry prices are beyond extortionate, charging by the item meant that a normal load of laundry (that cost us £4 to do at a laundrette in the town) would have cost us about £80 at the hotel. TVs in room won’t connect to wifi so no Netflix/etc and the available channel list is small/poor quality.

This is an exceptional resort. The staff know what you need before you do! The design of the rooms and premises was absolutely stunning. The infinity pool onto the private beach is a highlight, and the overall vibe is very serene. Great buffet breakfast, seafood menu and cocktails too.

The island of Koh Lanta is very quiet and decrepit in parts. It has been hugely impacted by the pandemic as a lot of other resorts and buildings are abandoned or half finished, which was sad to see. Layana itself is incredible but the area is partly a construction zone.

Everything you need and more

Everything was incredible honestly, the facilities, staff, breakfast, pool, extras and so on. We were welcomed with a bright smile time and time again and being taken care of as we have never had been before. The staff is attentive and helpful, the personal touch upon checking in, communication and throughout the stay made us feel incredbily grateful. Moreover, fun extras such as white nights on fridays, a daily happy hour and bloody marys or bottomless sparkling wine during breakfast, along with the organised activities for which you can sign up were wonderful. Ultimate relaxation, a perfect ending to our vacation in Thailand !
