Nice villas and lovely location on the beach

The grounds were nice and there were plenty of sunbeds facing onto the beach. Breakfasts were OK and they did make an effort to put on entertainments several nights a week (the Elvis impersonator was hilarious). Our villa was comfortable and fun to use the tiny dip pool in the evenings. The spa was good and the prices kept low by the amount of competition along the beach. Some really nice restaurants close by. The beach was kept clean and the sea was lovely.

Thought it a shame the pool was by the reception area, too far back from the beach so we did not use it at all, a bad design and not something that can be changed. But being so close to the sea, it was not an issue for us. Other properties along the beach had beds directly on the beach which would have been nice to use.

Underwhelming and overall a bit disappointing

We liked the location in Koh Lanta and it was easy to access shops restaurants and beach side bars. The front desk staff were friendly and chatty. The rooms were a good size - we were in a pool access room.

The bar/restaurant is very uninspiring. Its plastic chairs and layout is uninviting and after our first drink experience we never went back despite staying for 5 nights. The service was rude - definitely the worst we experienced in two weeks in Thailand, and you couldn’t see the beach because of the slightly odd hammocks that overhang the beach. Ultimately we found other nice spots for a drink as you watch the sun go down but disappointing. The bathrooms were fine but basic with a shower that worked but certainly was at the basic end of the scale. We used the spa for a massage and although the massage was good enough the staff were constantly nipping out to deal with the front desk and so it was hard to relax. We didn’t try the breakfast because of our bad experience when we arrived and the room service option was very basic and if you were looking for anything local there wasn’t anything. Overall this was probably fine for a family with young children who wanted basic and easy. We generally prefer more boutique hotels with a focus on quality and service and this ultimately was not what this was. Partly poor choice maybe but overall just could have been so much better.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. On the beach, with pools, gym and spa, it offers all you need for a relaxing stay

Great place to stay

Went to lanta for some down time and rest so this place was perfect. Rooms (villa) was big; clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Had 2 really good Thai massages Breakfast was good. Loved the beach chairs/beds that were right at the property line to beach. A lot of shade there also so I could pick sun or shade.

Lovely hotel / grounds if you want a chilled stay and not do too much!

Large clean room with private private plunge pool & outdoor private shower! Large comfortable bed, wifi good, 30 second walk from room to breakfast restaurant and beach/beach bar! There are 3 pools, main one near reception, we always found a sunbed! Massages available - 600 baht for a deep tissue for 1 hour which was good & worth the money! Breakfast was okay with choice of eggs, salad, fruit, bread, yoghurts and cooked selection! Nice comfy pod seats available on the beach to watch the sunset with a cocktail, special cocktail of the day was 100 baht for a certain time period! Food/drinks can be ordered from the beach bar and delivered to you in the pod seats! It was low season when we travelled so not lots of restaurants open near the hotel but if you walked about 10 mins down the road, there a few nice ones to try and a mini market near the restaurants too!

There was a large ledge around the bed which was a bit of a pain especially getting in & out of bed! Taxis were expensive from both hotel & outside of hotel - best use bolt booking in advance!

Shower unable to get right temp, shower outlet did not run away clogged up, shower heads sprayed everywhere need cleaning .. room cleaners just take sheet off and turn around .. no fresh sheets unless asked for .. resort has no atmosphere specially around the bar, mozi city unless located in rooms on beach front

Pleasant stay

Good size swimming pools, lush greenery, junior suite room really big, ac worked well. Besch towels and nice amenity like beach bag robes, slippers and umbrellas provided in room, room made up every day. Polite staff. Nice beach with lovely sunset.

Breakfast was just ok. Adequate but not fantastic. Items ran out soon after 9 am, the busiest time but they didn't replace. Hot Items were mostly the same with 2 or 4 variations each day like fried rice and steamed rice. Meals at other times at the restaurant was sub par, not very tasty and room service menu very limited. The rooms and buildings were also very outdated. Staff barely spoke English which made communication difficult.

Paradise at a fair price!

The beach front location, with the beach bar, pool and particularly the sun loungers and day beds is second to none. We spent the days lying on the loungers taking in the sun and sound of the waves just feet away. Apart from that the property is gorgeous. The room was huge and we had our own pool on the balcony! The staff were brilliant too, friendly and were always there to help. Also the breakfast was excellent too, lots of choice!

If pressed, the restaurant food in the evening was just average. We ate there because it’s low season so literally everywhere else on the beach is closed for food. I’d imagine it’s definitely worth a walk down the beach in high season though.

Magical honeymoon at an exceptional resort

We had absolutely incredible stay at Lanta Sand Resort & Spa - I can’t praise this resort and staff enough. The food was amazing, staff extremely kind, caring and helpful, smiling all the time and it was clear to see that they truly care about the happiness and satisfaction of their guests. We had a villa with plunge pool, everything was clean and perfect. Since it was our honeymoon, we had a cute bed decoration at our arrival, as well as a surprise from my husband during our stay, when he asked the hotel to prepare another room decoration that I found when we returned from a trip - our room was full of flowers - it was absolutely amazing! We also highly recommend a floating breakfast. :) Sending special greetings to Dach and Merry, both made our stay a little bit more special with their kindness and helpfulness. Overall, this hotel really goes beyond and above in their service and guest care and we can’t wait to be back next year! THE BEST STAY EVER 🫶

Very nice resort. Direct to the beach. Close to a lot of restaurantes and minimart's. Staff very helpful and sweet. We got upgraded to a bungalow for no extra charge. Spa on the resort has a relaxing atmoshphere and the massage is professionel and skilled. I truely recommed this place. Go there and relax. You won't be sorry 😃😃

Amazing hotel with great staff

THe location was good, transport is required if you want to go to to the main areas in the south and north. On the door step walking distance are some restaurants and shops. The room was large and we had a pool access. The bed wasn't that comfortable only downside. Breakfast was great amazing variety. The staff were incredible very polite and happy.

Excellent and comfortable stay.

Lovely resort with seats and shade (provided by trees) by the beach. We stayed on the ground floor with open access to the pool which is great with the children. There’s 2 rooms, so living space for us to hang out when children are asleep. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Staff were also super helpful, particularly the staff member (Merry) who organised for Yawee to deliver us lunch on our day of departure. Thank you! The beach was also lovely with restaurants close by. Would highly recommend. Only downside is it’s a bit of a walk from the Main Street if you’re not getting a taxi/Tuk tuk. But it is only 10mins from Mr Pad Thai’s truck!

On the last night my partner asked if they would make up the bed in the second room for him as the Aircon was too cold for him but I liked it on and the staff did this for him no problem.The bathroom was beautiful and I loved the robes and slippers. Nice, quiet resort.

The staff were very good and very helpful, great for rental of bikes and booking travel with them. The place was very chilled, nice pool area and beach view at the back of the hotel. The balcony area in the room was nice with comfy chairs.

A bit pricy for what you get

The resort itself is very nice. We absolutely loved the massage at their spa and we can really recommend this to anyone staying here. The beds in the room are also nice.

The rooms are outdated and absolutely not sound proof. We could hear the neighbors yelling at their kids at night and it was very annoying at times. Given the photos we saw before we expected more from the room itself.
