Just want to say that the owners and the staff here are kind and welcoming and went beyond what they needed to to help me in a stressful situation that was unrelated to my stay. My score is based on my experience of the property and is not a reflection of the team who are exceptional and provide an excellent service! Bungalows are really spacious and clean. Bathrooms and showers are the best I’ve seen on this trip to Thailand, and I’ve stayed in varied accommodation - brand new, super clean and good quality fittings and great water pressure. If you are a group or a family that would be sharing out the cost of these large bungalows, and want to be closer to the action then I definitely recommend.

I agree with other reviews about noise and comfort levels of the bungalows - unfortunate design features and proximity to the main road made for a less comfortable stay for me. Facilities were quite scarce and the terraces, pool and dining area didn’t feel private or secluded. There are no security issues to worry about but I didn’t find the layout relaxing as everything feels very open to the road and the building site next door. If you are a couple or (like me) solo traveller looking for privacy, peace and quiet then I would look elsewhere.

Run by a lovely English couple. Nicely located on the island. Quiet, clean with big room and really comfy bed. Very clean swimming pool and good food.

The breakfast was lovely. The location was near to a beach and plenty of shops and restaurants.

- The curtains are transparent so at night with the security lighting in the gardens the rooms are very very light. - The units are semi- detached with thin walls and wooden floors, so we heard the sweet little boy next door running up and down, crying, and shouting. - Whilst it’s lovey to see Emma and Adam the hosts on site and they’re rightly proud of their achievements, we felt ( and this could just be us) they were just a bit too present, sitting at the same table in the restaurant area all the time.

We loved staying here, we even extended our stay because we felt so relaxed and at home here. It’s an intimate hotel with personalised service. You get to know the lovely staff, who want to make your stay as good as possible, it’s very easy to communicate with staff as the majority speak excellent English and if they are not able to help to owners of the hotel are around at times to help. The staff will help organising whatever you need - tuk tuks, day trips, scooters etc. Absolutely loved the location, a couple of minutes walk to the lovely beach (Relax bay) not far at all, and the same to the closest bars and restaurants. Relax bay is beautiful and super relaxed, with bars on it, great for sunset, but it’s not loud or a party beach, it’s really beautiful and relaxed. We stayed on the beach at the end of our stay, this was lovely for a night or 2, but I preferred the convenience of Baan Sawasdee, being close to both the beach and amenities for the longer part of the trip. You can also walk along the road to the next main beach North of the hotel very easily, it doesn’t take long at all maybe 20 mins? But if that’s too much for you just grab a Tuk tuk, it will take 2 mins. The hotel is very close to some excellent bars restaurants with various price ranges. We loved Bonnie’s and Cozy’s which were a bit more expensive, but there are lots of in-between options along the road and some very reasonable places like Mama Lanta and Mushroom which is 2 mins walk from hotel, if you wanted to save the pennies. Saying that, the hotel also does excellent quality food. We enjoyed the traditional Thai food, the kitchen is clean and the food freshly prepared. The breakfast is excellent with fresh egg station that is quick, fresh crepes and even Nutella ; and I loved the toasters and bread that wasn’t too sweet. The rooms were spacious and clean. I loved waking to the sounds of nature and surrounding greenery. Having Shampoo AND conditioner in the shower was also an added bonus

Nothing, but I would say if you are coming to Koh Lanta you need mosquito spray. Not a fault of the hotel at all, they’re everywhere and everyone we saw while in Lanta had bug bites in their legs. You can get some strong stuff in the local pharmacy which worked wonders for us.

Superb stay, a tranquil paradise! We loved staying here, quiet beautiful accommodation surrounded by lush gardens & trees, waking up hearing the birds! with the bonus of a great swimming pool too with comfortable padded sun beds. Wonderful hosts, the team are happy to help with anything, also has an onsite travel office for your onward travel. Brand new everything, slept extremely well, very comfortable beds, quiet aircon, spotless bedrooms and bathrooms. Super breakfast choice with eggs cooked to order! Excellent location close to two fantastic beaches 2 minute scooter or 5/6 minute walk away, beautiful Relax bay or long beach. Scooter hire available nearby if required. Plenty of restaurants/ bars minutes away, as are tuk tuks and seven 11 and chemists/ shops. Thank you for a superb 7 night stay, will return someday. Highly recommend.

The breakfast is very good. One of the best we have had on our trip. They have lots of options and a good coffee machine. Hotel was close to the beach, which had good restaurants and bars. It is also close to a 7 eleven for supplies.

The room has no curtains, the light wakes you up very early in the morning, it would be impossible to sleep without an eye mask.

Breakfast was good, decent options. The common areas, including dining area, are well-maintained. Chalets/bedrooms are modern and spacious, and it is a quiet resort.

Resort is a bit of a walk from the beach. The pool is very small, and there are no other amenities other than that (the resort is very basic). The chalet had very little clothes storage/hanging facilities, not enough hooks, esp. in the bathroom, and only one waste paper basket (in the bathroom), which you use for toilet paper, so another was needed for the bedroom. Beside the resort, on the way to the main road, there is alot of unsightly refuse, but this seems to be an endemic problem throughout the island, can't understand why the western business owners aren't tackling this?
