We had a bungalow whi6was nice ans then transferred to a cheaper room c3 which we loved - a walkway which could be used as a balcony one side and a balcony the other side so we always had some sun. The pool was brilliant here - quiet and peaceful. The larger pool was busy with territorial bed joggers. You can step straight in to the beach- a dip rather than a swim due to low tide and coral - lots of fish too as so quiet here. Lady with the trips & scooters is a diamond- such a sense of humour too. We enjoyed our best time here in 6 weeks of travelling. Scooter a must. Plus peace and love restaurant just up the road is the best best restaurant ever - really tasty home cooked genuine Thai food, really reasonable pricing, family run - absolutely amazing and perfect- exactly what Thailand should feel like 👌

Lanta Beach Bungalows is a great option if you’re looking for a basic, comfortable bungalow right on the beach. The room itself was generally clean, not spotless but nice and was able to be cleaned any day you wanted. In addition, at night there was super loud noises on the roof but the owner assured us it was normal so we just ignored ! The property has two pools and a lovely beachfront setting, and the staff were helpful in arranging snorkeling trips and motorbike rentals. Everything we needed for a relaxed stay was there. The only downside was that when I thought I had left my ring in the room and contacted the owner, I never received a response despite multiple texts and calls, which was extremely disappointing. That said, overall we still had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend it for the location and value.

They're trying hard. That's the bottom line. Yes, you're very close to the beach and it's affordable. But unfortunately, that's about it; the complex itself isn't very well maintained. However, if that's not a problem, then this is a good, affordable place.
