Tranquil and totally worth it!

The staff were all amazing. This is a very quiet little place that was very peaceful. The rooms were great, the beach chairs were great, bike rental and laundry handled by front desk. The food was really good; many times at the small places (I think there are only 10 villas) the choices are limited, but not here. There is a lot of thought put into everything, like the daily fresh flower arrangements all over the place. Just book it; it's worth it.

The beds were a little firm, but that is common in Asia. The only thing that was remotely a problem was the water pressure. It pulsed between strong and weak, although this was a minor inconvenience. If you aren't familiar with this area, there is a lot of coral, so the beach isn't the most swimmable.

A wonderful resort with lovely staff

The bungalow is large and comfortable and set in a lovely garden. Fresh flowers decorate the water tubs outside the rooms every day. The resort is located on a quiet part of Klong Khong beach but within easy walking distance of some great bars and lovely restaurants. The staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful which makes it a pleasure to stay here. Nothing is too much for Marina on reception and Nina in charge at the restaurant.

Perfection in paradise.

Everything!! The location is perfect - we loved Klong Khong beach and loved how this was just at the end out of the way but within walking distance to everything. The gardens are absolutely incredible. The room was perfect. Excellent value.

Breakfast could have been a bit better but it was more than good enough for the price. We would LOVE to come back and highlight recommend.

A Hidden Oasis with Exceptional Gardens and Wonderful Staff

This place has the most amazing garden I've ever seen. The attention to detail and meticulous care put into it is truly breathtaking. The fragrance alone is wonderful, and returning here after a day of exploring feels like coming home to your own personal oasis. The room is spacious and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Breakfast offers a nice combination of a basic buffet alongside a menu card with multiple options to choose from, which worked perfectly for us. The staff is wonderful, especially the woman at reception who is truly amazing and made our stay even more special. Highly recommended!

The coffee quality could be better, and offering halal food options would make a big difference for Muslim guests. Since this is a majority Muslim island, finding a halal supplier should be straightforward and would be a meaningful addition. The air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, which some guests might find uncomfortable or potentially problematic. Adjusting the airflow direction would be helpful. These are small points that would make an already excellent property even better.

Dreamlike stay in gorgeous resort right on the beach.

This hotel is a true dream. It is small / boutique so you never feel crammed, there is so much space to walk around, it feels luxurious. The beach set up is absolutely wonderful. The staff is great. The food also delicious. We stayed with our toddler and would absolutely come back to Koh Lanta again just to stay ar Baan Thai Lanta resort. The gardens are also an absolute dream. Thank you so much!

If you want tranquility and beautiful scenery with beautiful food this is the place for you.

The breakfast was beautiful like the reviews said it was with good option, pancakes and fruit was my favourite, lunch was also really nice we really loved the satay chicken with peanut sauce and spring rolls so good. Location was perfect right on the beach and loads of shops and restaurants a walk away on the road and on the beach. The facilities were really good too really beautiful, if you want to truly relax this place is perfect so peaceful. Lastly the staff go above and beyond for you every single one was polite and helpful especially Nina shes the head of staff I think so you always dealt with her she was the perfect host really made us feel welcome and her english was really good! Would highly recommend this place if you want a quality place to stay to truly relax.

Our favourite stay during our Thailand trip!

Everything about this hotel impressed us. The entire property is exceptionally clean, inside and out. Walking to our room felt like moving through a dreamlike jungle, and once we arrived, the room was spotless and beautifully kept. The bed was very comfortable, and the attention to detail was clear. The staff were warm, helpful, and genuinely attentive. Breakfast was outstanding, and the quality of service never slipped. One of the team members mentioned they’d been there for over a decade, which says a lot about how well the place is run, both for guests and staff. We’ll definitely be returning for another stay!

Boutique, an oasis of calm

Baan Thai Lanta is a lovely boutique, small-scale hideaway that feels like an oasis of calm. The garden is beautifully maintained and every day there’s a fresh, carefully arranged flower in the pot outside your room — such a thoughtful touch. The staff are genuinely friendly and always ready to help without ever feeling pushy. The location is perfect: right on the beach, while still close enough to walk to the livelier area whenever you feel like it. A wonderful place to relax and enjoy Koh Lanta. Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing holiday immersed in nature

No words can describe how much we enjoyed our stay at Baan Thai Lanta - I will try my best to summarize it 🥲 The staff is so extremely kind! They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience of the island, giving us recommendations on things to do and discover during our stay. It was also very easy to rent scooters and book massages at the reception desk. Attention to detail was exceptional, from the food we ate to the flowers right outside our room, which were changed and arranged beautifully every day. The villas are spacious and silent, surrounded by the most stunning gardens. We loved hearing the sound of frogs croaking by the pond at night and waking up to birdsongs in the morning. Thank you so much, Marina, Nina, and everyone else, for making our holiday so wonderful! We hope to come back one day ❤️

A peaceful, beautiful resort with great staff and perfect vibes

Everything about this place is fabulous. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The resort is beautiful, especially the gardens—you can really see the love and care that went into them. We loved the pool, the direct beach access, and the cozy area with comfy beach chairs. Breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were clean and spacious. A perfect spot to relax and unwind.

It would have been great to have mosquito nets in the rooms, but the resort does provide mosquito repellent, which is a nice touch.

Spectacular Resort with Stunning Ocean Views!

Baan Thai Lanta is a true paradise! We booked a sea-view room, and it was incredibly spacious, with a well-equipped kitchenette. The direct beach access was perfect, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The breakfast staff were exceptionally friendly, and the gardens were always immaculate-every detail is carefully maintained. Perfect stay for a couple

Absolute paradise. The pictures for this hotel do not do justice. It was much better than the photos. The staff was lovely, the hotel area and the beachfront are beautiful. Breakfast was tasty and I loved the pina coladas at the bar. The hotel offers all you need - laundry service, scooters, massage. Would definitely stay again.

Villa was lovely, gardens were well maintained, pool was inviting, and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful.

Amazing and relaxing hotel with a wonderful staff

Very beautiful and clean room and hotel, staff was really nice and helpful, breakfast was amazing and prepared freshly for us every morning. The hotel is full of plants and flowers that smells amazing and make you feel in the heart of nature. Direct access to the beach, walking distance from restaurants and bars while being in a very calm space at the same time.

Being there in low season, the restaurant closed at 6 pm and there were no activities planned by the hotel. But that is a detail, we loved our stay.

Tranquil, beach dream

The villa was substantial with a very large bed, nicely decorated with towel art on arrival. The main room also had a seating area with a TV, a good sized kitchen area with a fridge, microwave and sink. The bathroom again was substantial, featured a large step in shower. The veranda provided a wonderfully tranquil area to lounge and watch the sunset over the sea. Breakfast offered plenty of choice and the staff were very attentive. The villa was cleaned daily with fresh towels and linen. The gardens of Baan Thai Resort were very well maintained and appeared to have constant workers to maintain the cleanliness.

Super welcome from out host Nina who remembered us from 3 years ago. Great location, on the beach. comfortable bedroom. Breakfast selection good and lovely service from Lulu and Baiton. Great selection of bars ( especially Finns Stoned Bar ) and restaurants along the beach. the gardens are immaculate.

The only thing I would mention is that you have to be careful stepping into the shower.

Gorgeous property with lush gardens and meticulous attention to detail. Private and exclusive but not snobbish. Spacious villa (#1) with a beachfront view and plenty of outdoor seating. Location is secluded but accessible -- you can walk to many restaurants and bars on the beach. The staff were friendly and kindly let us check out late so we could maximize our enjoyment!

An absolute gem of a small resort.

This has to be one of the best run, most beautiful, small resorts in Thailand. it is on a quiet part of Klong Kong beach with plenty of great little beach bars and restaurants nearby. The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms really well maintained. The staff are delightful and throughout whole resort there is great attention to detail. A wonderful place.

Perfect quiet and relaxing luxury.

The staff are so lovely here and make everything perfect. Great rooms and attention to detail. We felt very looked after and loved the flower arrangments every morning .

Beach is rocky so wear shoes to swim and you need to travel to go out. Transport us cheap and fast though. .
