Beachfront access with bean bags and areas to relax Not all accommodation has a hammock but I asked for one Daily beds made Central location good for accessing southern beaches

Staff were unfriendly although the owner was pleasant Kettle in the room but no tea or coffee provided (?) Restaurant food wasn’t great and the prices were high in compassion to others nearby The rooms are small and need refurbishing. Porch not relaxing to sit as the chairs are incredibly uncomfortable and no cushions! Bathroom door was very low and easy to hit your head if you are tall, the bed had a wooden end frame which was very uncomfortable for my husband who is 6’2” as he couldn’t lie straight. The images show endless beds. We asked to move but they refused even though we were the first customers checking in that day (we had arrived mid morning) The beach wasn’t good as soon as tide goes out - long stretches of sharp rocks with lots of sea cucumbers made it unusable. Consequently we travelled to bamboo or nui beach We moved to Eden Lanta Bungalows 3km north which was cheaper and lovely !

Super nice staff - especially amazing Penny❤️ super beautiful place - we were there during the end of low season (September/October) so we were mostly alone (only a couple of other guests) in the whole resort and had all the quiet we needed, super convenient location - close to everything like restaurants, shops, laundry, scooter rentals. Being so close to the beach is super cool, hummock is super amazing. It was interesting to see the place changing so much from low to high season! It looked quite run down when we arrived but it was already quite beautiful when we were leaving 🙂 there are absolutely stunning sunsets that you can watch every night!! You get a kettle which is super convenient! The size of the hut is just right (we had the standard) and were super happy with it. The bed is super comfortable as well! Just the pillows were a bit too firm and high but that is up to your preferences really.

Ok price for off season but too expensive during full season for what you get (in my opinion). Very expensive restaurant - I might understand during high season but to keep the same prices for low season.. We had a broken toiled from the first minute we walked in, there was some struggle to repair it for a day or two but they made it in the end 🥳 It is forbidden to bring your own food/snacks/ drinks and eat or drink at the beach. I would understand during the high season when the place is full of people but it was deserted during our stay and we still couldn’t bring even a bottle of beer to watch the sunset. (You can purchase one from the staff though) We were here during the end of low season (beginning October) and the preparations for the high season were in progress all around which was sometimes noisy and annoying, but nothing to worry about - just to keep in mind if coming during this time. It would be nice to have more furniture and maybe a mug or two for a coffee (you get a kettle but no mugs 🤷‍♀️😅)

A stay so good, that my initial 5 day stay ended up being a 8 night stay! Access to the beach and a 7 11 store that’s literally 20 steps from the stay!

Incredible value for fantastic experience

Food provided on location was exceptional. The owner, Robert, had some delicious cuisine waiting for us when we arrived. I've been to the island several times now and this is by far one of the better experiences I've had. Very comfortable bungalow, amazing mattress, cleaned every day, beach is 10 second walk from door. Exceptional value for service. Highly recommend. Muay Thai gym just across the street, 7/11 nearby, great restaurants, friendly people. 10/10

Welcoming place with great beach setting

Very lovely staff, really enjoyed chilling on the beachside loungers all day long, the food was delicious (try the pad see ew - it is amazing). Rooms are very clean and love that you have a fridge and a little terrace. Very well located near restaurants, bars, shops but still quiet. Sunset views are amazing. Very nice, relaxed vibe.

The only thing we found a bit unusual is that cleaning service would come in between 9-10 am, sometimes we were still sleeping or showering. If you are sensitive towards AC, there is no fan to substitute it for.

Quaint beach-front hotel

This was a nice little hotel that met our needs during our stay on Lanta. The owner, Penny, was very friendly and helpful with laundry and motorbike rental. We requested a double bed room and instead had 2 twin beds, which were not the most comfortable. I think the resort was full for our days booked. Each bungalow had air conditioning, which worked quite well, and screens on the main windows. One recommendation would be to put screens on the cinderblock windows in the bathrooms because mosquitoes could fly in easily if the bathroom door was left open. Also, our shower head holder was broken so it was exclusively hand-held. The property was well-kept with adorable and friendly cats who we enjoyed playing with. It was also quiet from both beach and street noise. The staff cleaned our room thoroughly each day and mopped the floors. The common area had nice cabanas, tables, and bean bags to lounge and was a relaxing and comfortable environment.

It's a wonderful place to stay.if you are looking for a quiet and calm place to stay.then this should be the one.The owner was not here when we arrived but was super friendly and communicated frequently via booking.com.We had an amazing lunch prepared by host penny. best Thai food ever had. The place has located along the sea shore more like a private beach.had the best time there.

Bare bones experience, suit young back packers.

Awesome spot on a great stretch of beach. Owner was friendly and accomodating.

Bed mattress was new but substandard quality and no padding between body and springs. if you sat on edge of bed mattress collapsed under you. a/c in room was very noisy. no soap, shampoo provided.

- the staff was the best. - right by the beach - cheap - ac in room even though the price range - good food at the hotel - incredible sunset - they fixed whatever you asked for like a motorbike or a hammock

- well you get what you pay for - there was no fridge in my room (probably the cheapest room/bungalow) and I had to pay 15€/night to add this (and I payed around 20€/night before the fridge) - I thought the hammock already was in place when I got there but it wasn’t. I had to wait all day for it to be there. - there was a hole in the wall in the room a lived at. I really got the worst room I guess

Great location right on the beach!

The location was excellent. Very close to restaurants and bars and right on the beach. Nice restaurant and day beds by the beach at the resort were great. Friendly helpful staff.

The bungalows could use some tlc for the smaller details... rusty broken bathroom door handle , drain in the bathroom for shower was opposite side of the bathroom so if you had a shower, the floor just got soaking wet until it got to the drain on the other side of the bathroom which was a bit annoying and stayed slippy fot a while...but it didn't directly effect out stay. Overall we were very happy there.

lovely spot right in front of the beach. Our room was very comfortable and the whole vibe of the place was very chill. The cleaning was very efficient and tidy.

WORST STAY

The location is good and quiet. You are at a beach with some rocks and a lot of bars. The owner and staff is nice.

The bungalow is in a bad shape and was build very cheap. You can notice that by holes in the door, an uncomfortable bed and a bathroom which has holes so spiders and ants are there. It is bad constructed because the bathroom has only a net to the outside so it will be all the time warm and you cannot close the door so the warm air will warm up the room fast. Especially during the night if you don’t let the aircon running all the time. The aircon is right next to the bed so you get all the time cold air to your face. The bathroom is just a disaster. The water does not go away proposals so you flood the bathroom and also the metal parts are rusting. It’s just all cheap and you can notice. Sure you get what you pay for but even that was not the case here. We had overall the worst stay so far on our 1 month Thailand trip. For 30€ per night you can get better stays. Btw there is no hammock outside like in the pictures shown. Would not recommend staying here even though the location is good and owner is nice.

Amazing spot to spend a week!!

incredible place. I came to Ko Lanta to chill/work and that’s exactly what I got here. This place is right on the beach and their kitchen and WiFi are awesome. so there is really no point to leave. Hot showers, cold, AC, comfy beds, very nice staff, beautiful sunsets. i’ll be back soon!!!

The place is very nice and was the perfect location for me (directly at the beach). The owner and the whole staff is super friendly and attentive. They will help you with every question you might have. Additionally the food is amazing, independent if you like to eat Thai or German. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was comfortable.

Fantastic stay at Isara Lanta!

Fantastic stay at isara Lanta. The people working at Isara were all smiles and very attentive. The young lady was very helpful with the motorcycle rent and was very willing to help us. She often drove in beaming with smiles and helped us when we needed pick up to Krabi. She let us stay a bit longer at our place after our check out and was very adamant on not worrying of being in our room. Her English was excellent so communication was smooth. For the price, it was an excellent choice. The staff was very honest that he chased us to give our change when we paid for booking and didn't wanna take it. Great people in Lanta.

Super Service, sehr gepflegte Anlage mit dazugehörigem Restaurant mit super gutem Essen und Getränken. Gute Lage, sehr ruhig, aber dennoch zentral.

Das Bett war etwas zu hart. Anfänglich waren wir uns nicht sicher ob wir als Familie willkommen sind, hat sich dann aber schnell gelegt und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Les bungalow sont mignons, la plage est hyper sympa !

la plage est à 50 mètres. C’est une très longue plage avec de nombreux restaurants et bar mais cela reste très convivial et pas bondés de monde.

les équipements sont vraiment à revoir: trou dans la vasque du lavabo, la poignée de la salle de bain est rouillé
