I really enjoyed my stay at Green Chile bungalows was there for just over a couple of weeks? Can’t wait to go back again

Location, location, location!

Smack dab in the middle of Long Beach. Beautiful sunsets. Wonderful hosts and staff that went out of their way to make sure the stay was memorable. I only booked a week but would have loved to stay at Green Chili for the full month. Great fresh seafood and breakfasts. Hot shower, cold AC, clean room, daily room/linen refresh if desired. Beach and beach bars/restaurants as far as the eye can see in both directions. The vibe is very chill (not Phuket). Not loud, not rowdy, no panhandlers, no mooks, just happy people trying to earn a living in a lesser known paradise in Thailand.

I was so impressed by the warm staff, excellent, fresh food and prime location that I really didn't have time to nit pick items that may otherwise annoy. The Bungalow I was in was clean and as advertised/photographed. Each bungalow requires you to climb 5 large stairs to enter. As a recent stroke survivor, it was good therapy 😉 for me. Others with more severe mobility issues should note and consider.

Excellent option for anyone on a budget seeking "local" experience.

Nested in a quiet corner of Lanta, 40m away from the beach, it is an excellent option for anyone travelling on a budget with a desire to get a legit "local" experience.

The bedding wasns't great and could be imporoved, but otherwise it was clean and functional. value for the money

Green Chilli is a very good place to stay. The owner is very kind and helpful. The staff is super nice and friendly. I really enjoyed the thaï massages, the ladies are so nice. We loved the banana and pineapple pancakes with my kids and of the pad thaï from the restaurant. Great location on the beach, everything available within walking distance (ATM, groceries, cafés, restaurants…). I had to go to the doctor for my son and there is one super close on the street nearby. The bungalow is simple and practical.

Maybe warm water in the bathroom would have been better for showering my young ones.

Location Fab, Good Staff and Restaurant but Bungalow lacking?

The score is for the location, great beach 1 min walk. Green Chilli Restaurant fab breakfast choice and BbQ in evening. The staff are lovely and helpful when you need anything. I liked the grounds watching the buffalo’s and chickens.

The Bungalow could be great with a few reasonable additions such as a fridge! Table or some surface to unpack a little in the room and a kettle? Solid building but dodgy doors that don’t shut tight and dreadful internet?

Great location, steps from the beach. Family enjoyed free range chickens and cows outside the bungalow. Muay Thai across the road and endless restaurants and massage places.

Best place to stay on lanta island

Mr Pin is an amazing host that welcomed us with a big smile and helped with anything we needed, the food is amazing! Best massaman curry in Thailand. All the staff were amazing

Quiet place, super restaurant, nice price

Little bit hard beds, for 6 nights without clean service, only one cover, no soap, ... - very simple and low cost accommodation. But for this price ... We can not say hotel beach is nice and fine :-( No refrigenerator :-(

Would definitely book again!

Due to low season i was offered to upgrade to a bungalow with ac directly at the check in and i git the bungalow right at the beach + beach view from my window! Wich i enjoyed so much! The palm tree garden is so beautiful and there are two restaurants right it next to it! Went for a swim every morning ◡̈

No shower gel and some rubbish in the garden.

Super nice staff, great location right on the beach with amazing restaurants around. Comfortable bed and overall good value for money. Pretty palm trees around.

The blanket was more like towel and with the AC on i was a bit cold (even with higher degrees). The bungalows are not being cleaned every day.

Friendliest staff I have ever experienced!! The bungalows are located right by the beach. Loved seeing the chickens and cows everyday!

Rooms get extremely hot during the day, it was more comfortable to sit outside on the patio.

The location is great, the bungalows were located in such a beautiful setting. We loved eating at the restaurant, they did a range of different foods for a good price. The staff were so lovely and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

effortable lovely stay at a sunset beach

the location is priceless. You walk out your bungalow and there is the beach and a really nice sunset! the food at their beach restaurant is soo good! The owners are lovely and welcoming all the way :) We stayed at a AC room and I feel like they are a little newer and a little more comfortable: no bugs inside, everything was very clean, european toilet (& toilet paper). I was hesitant when booking because of some comments here on booking but have to say there is nothing to worry about and we absolutely enjoyed our stay + would recommend!!! :)

Rustic, simple, comfortable, clean, and great location

Basic but clean and comfortable place, right on the beach, with lots of beach bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Easy to get around on a scooter (which you can rent everywhere). Was quiet at night when we went. Good value for money. Reception accepted cash only on our arrival.

If you are looking for 5 star luxury, you're looking in the wrong place! But you get what you pay for - we were satisfied with our bungalow.

Einfach aber empfehlenswert

Die Bungalows sind einfach und aber sauber. Die Anlage hat einen schönen grünen Palmengarten. Das Personal ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Das zur Anlage gehörende Restaurant hat das beste Essen in der Umgebung, echt lecker. Auch der Wein ist passabel und man kann dabei den Sonnenuntergang genießen.

Liegen oder Hängematten auf der Terrasse oder unter den Palmen waren schön.

Dans l'ensemble, très satisfait.

Très bon emplacement. Même si les bungalow ne sont pas face à la mer mais à quelques dizaines de mètres seulement de la plage. Très agréable. L'établissement dispose d'un très bon restaurant. Avec plusieurs autres options à proximité immédiate. Le personnel sympathique.

Le confort bungalow est plutôt basique. Mais le prix est relativement bas aussi.
