The bungalows were nice and had good amenities, the location was nice being next to the beach.

The space didnt feel super inviting, I'm not sure if it was the layout or what, could have used more signage? But it was decent enough for privacy I guess at least.

Good value for money and relaxing resort.

The resort was very peaceful and right by the beach. The restaurant was really good aswell and always a free sunchair for hanging at the beach. The main hostess was incredibly sweet and helpful and the whole staff aswell. Full recommendation!

Simply awesome

We liked the direct access to the sea and the beach bar where you could spend the whole day relaxing on the sun loungers. And the cats :)

The only thing that could be mentioned is that the beds were a bit firm. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

Lovely 6 night stay in this place!

Cute, cozy and clean bungalow. Hammock was a big plus! The staff was amazing and pad krapao in restaurant worth for try! Also they had a superb massage.

There was a litter on the beach quite much but I think it’s not the problem of property - more likely how it is these days on Koh Lanta.

An experience to cherish for the rest of our life.

The location was amazing and the atmosphere was very relaxed and homely. Beautiful gardens and the room was clean. Basic but for the price it had all the amenities needed. The owner was extremely helpful with any questions and also arranged a moped and boat trip for the day to Koh Rok and Koh Mook which was out of this world. Such a fantastic experience and like everyone has mentioned the location was 10/10 and the sea was amazing.

Perfect spot to laze the days away!

The staff at Lanta Fa Rung were helpful and sweet. It was also easy to communicate with the property before our arrival. We really enjoyed our bungalow with a comfy hammock in front. The bungalows were spotted and appeared to have been recently updated. The garden was finely manicured, and the beach a stone's throw away. Highly recommended!

Comfy well-organised child-free resort on the beach

The resort is full.of greenery and very quiet. We loved our hammock on our little deck. The room was cleaned every day and the furnishing was thoughtful - fridge, kettle, BEDSIDE LIGHT, storage space. Very close to the beach, no children - what's not to like?

What a lovely little resort. Simple but lovely. The lady manager who worked on the front desk was absolutely wonderful and provided fantastic service and was incredibly friendly and laid back and made us feel very relaxed. A nice little beach front that is quiet and the service from the boys working there serving drinks was fantastic. They provide plenty of beach towels and the sunbeds themselves are very comfortable. Watching the sunset on the horizon was incredible and we did this every night with a few cocktails. The room itself was comfortable and the hammock outside on the porch was a nice touch. The massage from the ladies at the beachfront was great too. Ko Lanta itself is a lovely place nice and quiet. Rent a bike from the resort and go and explore! This island is a good place to practice riding a bike if you haven’t before as it is quieter than other parts of Thailand. Make sure you book the 4 island trip whilst you stay here too it was incredible. We saw plenty of amazing fish corals and even a sea snake whilst snorkelling.

Only slight issue is we were in the bungalow nearest to the main road and there were a number of animals kept in the house adjacent to us and on a couple of mornings a dog was barking non stop which woke us up and kept us awake along with the numerous exotic birds and chickens dotted about the resort it is quite noisy in the morning but we are both relatively light sleepers.

I like the location of the place. It was in the 'middle' of the island. Therefore, it was easy to go to the south or up north of the island. Also, I like there was a nail salon and massage salon next to it. This resort had the best community of people.

Superb

The area was very nice and clean. Lot of plants. The Bungalow was Cosy and I had everything I needed. The beach bar is perfect for chilling time with nice cocktails. The owners are very nice committed. Helped me with everything and asked always how I feel. I absolutely recommend this place.

The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant ia very good and pretty much the same price as in the restaurants around. The room was clean, I liked the hammock on the balcony. During the day the room can get pretty hot but the fan is helpful. There are bungalows with AC available fo those who need it. They offer everything you might need (scooters, tours, transfers etc).

I had a little bungalow at the front with a direct view of the beach. Excellent location! The personnel was great. They instantly recognize you, remember your favorite drink and tend to all your needs. Apart from that the resort owner's wife was more or less running a sanctuary for cats. Friendly animals as were the dogs and the otter. Yes, they house an otter. Outstanding! Breakfast was wonderful. Your typical juice, coffee or tea and egg and toast, but fresh and presented with a smile. This place at the beach is definitely a resort to return to. If only for the pleasant and relaxed Chilean owner and his staff.

Welcome Home to Fa Rung!

The room was very comfortable and clean, as was the property. we had an air conditioned room and it seemed fairly new. it was cleaned every day with special little touches such as leaf flower arrangements and clean towels every second day. The staff were all very nice and Da is especially helpful with everything you need. you can book tours through her, rent a scooter (200 baht/ 24 hours), transfers to your next destination for example. Laundry is available. The food at the restaurant is tasty! We loved our 8 night stay and we hope to return one day!!

The swimming area is rocky on this beach, which didn’t bother us at all and is really fine at high tide. there is a clear path straight out from Fa Rung without major rocks, so that is great! We wandered South every morning to the end of the beach where there is a nice swimming bay we enjoyed.

Music from a beach bar quite away away unfortunately could be heard all the way at the resort. Not the resorts fault in any way just an unfortunate thing to be aware of at the weekend.

The resort is very clean and so beautiful! The staff and owners are super nice. They will arrange everything for you if you ask (taxi to and from the airport, scooter rentals, laundry services, beach towels, excursions, etc..). We will definitely be back!

The best resort in Koh Lanta

Everything was excellent. The room was beautiful, the shower was gigantic, the people working there were very kind, and the little kittens running around were so cute! The resort is located 5 steps from the beach, which was also excellent. They speak english very well and also spanish! I would totally come back to this resort if I return to Lanta!

This Is not a complaint but a suggestion: the menu does not have vegetarian or vegan options, but the manager had no problem in change the options for us! Thanks a lot for that!

Beautiful resort which the owners take great care of. Superb service (bungalows get cleaned daily), relaxed atmosphere, great location next to the beach and other nice restaurants (Three Sisters, Pattys Secret Garden) and the best breakfast we had in Thailand (especially the pancakes) :)

The owners were very helpful and kind. When we arrived at resort I was very unwell and the owners went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. They made food and hot drinks (free of charge) to help settle my stomach. They also helped us rent scooters and showed us how to drive them safely. The room was very modern and clean. The beds are exceptionally comfy and the A/C is high quality. There is a large range of breakfast options at the resort which are all reasonably priced. We would definitely stay here again!
