Comfortable stay

Beachfront and in the middle of the town, so short walking distance everywhere. Nice comfortable room, perfect adjustable AC, big fridge, helpful staff. Overall i was happy and it was good value.

It has bigger potential, it looked like the staff puts most of their energy to the beach restaurant. You have your nice little house, but that's it. There's a space between the houses and the restaurant for some nice chilling area, but it's just boxes there, pity, the vibe would be much better.

Nice place but it's not quiet at night

The room was nice and comfortable. Restaurant was a pleasant surprise, the food was really nice and dining on the beach during the sunset was a pleasure. Location is great, all you need within walking distance.

The only true downside was the neighbouring bar, where the loud music was played until early morning. It was rather difficult to fall asleep.

Perfect Location and cute homestay

Staff is amazing. Helpful and they were able to change my room or fix any issues. Location is right at the center of the khlong long beach.

May be they can have some good entrance point. The property is new so may be they are still expanding. But so far the place and staff is good. Freedom bar is near so expect some loud music till late night.

Horrific

Great location on the beach.

Unprofessional staff, for example receptionist sleeping on inflatable bed behind reception desk/bar. Empty bottles and rubbish bags EVERYWHERE. Rooms not cleaned, bins not emptied and no fresh towels given in three days. Cockroaches and other bugs in bathroom, broken bed and toilet seat. The key to our room could not be found when we arrived and it transpired the previous guest had departed with our key. When these concerns and disappointments were raised with staff we were handed a phone to speak with a manager who very defensively disregarded our complaints and said that we should’ve raised them sooner (even though we had only spent 2 nights so far). We were told if we weren’t happy then to leave. Clear lack of health and safety and zero respect or support for guests. We ended up leaving early, would not recommend to stay here

I absolutely loved my time at De Octo in Koh Lanta. The bungalows are super cosy, beautifully decorated with so much care and the bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve had on my entire trip. The place is run by a lovely family who made me feel welcome from the very beginning. They speak perfect English, everything was smooth and easy, and you could really feel the love behind what they do. What I appreciated most was the simplicity of the place… nothing fancy, just pure, genuine quality and warmth. The restaurant, also run by the family, was absolutely delicious. I ended up eating there almost every day 😀 All in all: peaceful, kind, delicious and incredibly comfortable. Please support these wonderful locals! Thank you for such a beautiful experience! ❤️

How close it was to the beach, amazing. The fridge in the room was great to have and we really appreciated it/used it.

The toilet was very smelly and we had to keep the bathroom fan on. Lots of mosquitos were getting into the room via the toilet holes at the base of the toilet where the bolts normally go. I plugged them up with paper and no more mosquitos and the bathroom stopped smelling so bad! The loud dance beats from Free Dom Bar beside this property was loud and annoying which we didn’t know about when booking the property. Handle missing on the sink tap, bathroom door missing a handle with sharp screw sticking out wasn’t great. The Hope restaurant attached to the property was excellent though.

- direkt am Strand - sehr sauber und gemütlich - Personal sehr hilfreich, hat mir beim Organisieren von Transport geholfen

- Ich war 4 Tage da, es wäre schön gewesen, wenn wenigstens einmal das Zimmer geputzt worden wäre oder zumindest der müll entfernt worden wäre - die Musik der benachbarten Bar war bis spät nachts laut zu hören

Rigtig fint sted

Fantastisk lokation lige ud til skøn strand. Gå afstand til restauranter og indkøbs muligheder. Rigtig fin mad på restauranten. Dejligt med velfungerende aircondition. Rigtig fin valuta for pengene.

Egentlig rigtig flink familie, men meget tydeligt at det hovedsageligt er en restaurant med tilhørende bungalows/rum. Ingen rengøring eller affald tømt. Vandet kunne ikke blive varmt i badet, vi fik det lavet en gang men det stoppede med at virke med det samme igen. Ingen knager eller mulighed for at hænge sit våde tøj eller håndklæder op i det rum vi havde (heller ikke udenfor). Kattene på lokationen er rigtige søde men vær opmærksom på at de prøver og lykkedes gentagne gange med at løbe ind på vores værelse.

Mücken bei Ankunft im Zimmer, Baureste und leere Bierkartons stehen rum, unaufmerksames Personal, keine Liegemöglichkeit, man konnte sich nur zwischen Zimmer und Strand bewegen, passiert dabei das Restaurant und das war's, Zimmer wurde mit Gartenblick verkauft - gesehen hat man links und rechts jeweils einen Baum und Blick auf den Zaun

Det ligger perfekt, og sødt personale, rengøring skulle vi bare bestille, gik rigtig fint . Hvis man vælger at bo i centrum ved stranden er der musik om aftenen, fra det sted hvor de holder forskellige fester, så er det skrevet, os generede det ikke

pas de contact avec la direction. la musique très forte de l'établissement d'à côté jusqu'à tard dans la nuit. mais c'était pendant les fêtes de Noël donc c'est exceptionnel.

Maison individuelle, on se sent comme chez soi. Lit très confortable et décoré avec goût. En bord de plage, bon emplacement tout est accessible en 15min en scooter.

Extraordinaire : lieu, l’ambiance, la gentillesse et serviabilité de cet hôtel familial de bungalow. Dépaysement total. La plage à tomber par terre et on y mange aussi très très bien. Très bonne adresse pour un rapporte qualité prix top. Je recommande vivement. Authenticité et dépaysement au rdv. 👍🏻

Es war super entspannt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Die Unterkunft war toll. Es sind wenige kleine Häuschen mit großem Bett. Klimaanlage, eine kleine Terrasse mit zwei Stühlen und Tisch. Man hat einen Kühlschrank und einige Kleiderbügel. Die Rezeption ist direkt am Strand auch das Restaurant ist super, haben lecker Abendgegessen. Das Personal war sehr nett und immer hilfsbereit. Zum Strand läuft man 1 Minute. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!
