Beautiful location on the beach, nice quiet resort

Loved the beachside location, the excellent food, the lovely staff and being able to swim and snorkel from the beach. Being able to organise tours and transport onsite was great.

The shower needs a new shower head to get any amount of water from it and the sleep quality wasn’t great due to the heat/ac situation.

Decent stay but some complications

For a last minute booking it was of decent value and the location was nice and the staff was really friendly.

There were several things that stood out that made my stay feel slightly uncomfortable: The soap/shampoo/conditioner pumps near the shower were not labelled and there was no hand soap near the sink.There was a sign that said if you put toilet paper down the toilet and it gets stuck that you would get charged 500 Baht (why not just include a toilet plunger in the bungalow?). The doorframe to the bathroom was shorter than most doors and I'm only 5'11" and I bonked my head several times on accident. The bedroom floor had cracks in it that let light and air into the bungalow. And last but not least when I got back from the beach I encountered a giant cockroach in the bathroom that scurried away somewhere after I quickly closed the door.

The setting is absolutely stunning,right on a beautiful beach.

The first rule of running a hotel,must be the ability to understand that you work in the hospitality industry, and that means welcoming visitors. When we arrived we were informed there had been a mess up on our booking and we were going to be put in accommodation that was inferior to that we had booked,but were offered a free breakfast to compensate for this,we agreed as we didn't want to try to find alternative hotel.The room we were given was atrocious, barely furnished with furniture your granny would have thrown out,no bedside tables, and a very basic bathroom in which there was no hot water and a resident huge cockroach. After a night in this room,we went to breakfast which was OK,I wanted an extra pat of butter for my toast,this was refused unless payment of 200baht was received to pay for the extra butter!! The superior room we moved to was a huge improvement, but the shower was barely a trickle,and very difficult to get clean in,there are signs all over the room warning you that you can be fined for doing various things within the room,I couldn't find the the please clean the room sign to hang on the door one day,so went to reception and explained this and asked them to clean the room, the receptionist then charged over to the room and virtually ransacked it in his search for the missing cardboard sign!! Upon leaving we had booked a transfer and ferry online,the manager was extremely rude because we had not booked the transfer and ferry through them. Beautiful place to stay,but if you value customer service look elsewhere.

Lanta Family Home

The staff were very friendly. The location is so close to the beach, with a shaded restaurant that overlooks the sea. I had a TV and complementary refreshments, in my clean and bright room. Lanta Family provides much more comfort than similarly priced lodgings in the area, that were very basic and dirty. And also, more than some of the more expensive lodgings.

The only downside was that my curtain did not fully cover the window. But this was fixable.

It’s right at the beach and away from the main road. it’s super quiet, very nice atmosphere, if you want to get away from then crowd, the best place to be

I stayed at the room with AC, which was super clean and amazing, maybe if you are staying at the Bungalows it might not be as great, so make sure to take the room (it’s also a bungalow just with concrete walls and AC). it was excellent stay!

Le personnel très aimable et toujours présent, les petits bungalows sont bien confortables et propres je n’avais pas de climatisation mais il y avait un bon ventilateur mais pas en ce qui me concerne inutile parce qu’il y a toujours une petite brise bien agréable et suffisante pour se rafraîchir. L’emplacement est bien calme avec de quoi se restaurer, se reposer avec hamac ect…et situé front de mer presque les pieds dans l’eau au milieu d’une jolie végétation entretenue, vraiment formidable!!!

Hände weg von diesem Hotel!

Wir haben dort 5 Nächte für 366€ gebucht. Konnten dort aufgrund von Schäden im Zimmer nicht bleiben. Uns wurde kein neus Zimmer angeboten, im Gegenteil, wir wurden beleidigt, bedroht und sogar körperlich angegangen. Am nächsten Tag wurde uns angeboten, dass Geld in bar zurück zu zahlen. Es uns aber nicht möglich, da wir die Insel bereits am Vorabend fluchtartig verlassen haben. Alle Beweise sind auf Instagram zu sehen! Auch booking.com hat uns nicht geholfen! Ich habe mein Geld bis heute nicht zurück bekommen. Ich kann nur jeden davon abraten dieses Hotel zu buchen. Der Manager ist sehr unhöflich und dazu noch aggressiv! Hände weg von diesem Hotel!

L'emplacement et le personnel à l'exception du gérant

Je n'ai pas apprécié la présence continue et l'attitude du gestionnaire. Il est indiqué dans les équipements de la chambre qu'il y a vu sur mer alors que ce n'était pas vrai. Quand j'ai signifié cela au propriétaire, il m'a proposé de me rembourser et que je vois ailleurs à 23h.

Le bungalow était super confort. J’ai adoré le lieu, le cadre, j’avais presque les pieds dans l’eau. Le petit hamac un espace extérieur. J’ai adoré le personnel.

Le restaurant n’est pas terrible je ne le conseille pas. Et pitié changez les couvertures qui sont juste de grande serviette de bain

Tolle Lage und sehr nettes Team

Sehr gute Lage, direkt am Strand. Personal und Leitung waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Ein Kühlschrank und Wasserkocher wären wünschenswert, ich konnte aber den Kühlschrank an der Rezeption nutzen und Kaffee gab’s natürlich auch
