Disappointing

The breakfast was excellent.

We booked as a family of four & requested twin rooms, we we given 2 double rooms, not near each other. We were then charged for an extra fold up bed.

Excellent resort, perfect for youg kids

An excellent resort right on the beach. Staff is very helpfull, rooms are excellent very clean and cosy, restaurant is excellent and breakfast is perfect. There is a very nice swimming pool with a slide, as well as a table soccer and a billiard table. We traveled with teenagers but the place is perfects for young kids an actually most of the families that stayed with us had young kids. The location is very good close to minimarkets ATM good restaurants and Roti shops.

Great place to stay

Location is perfect. Rooms were lovely, very relaxing little added touches of plants etc around the room made it feel really homely. The staff were great and helpful at all times. The food at the restaurant was lovely, we ate there multiple times. Breakfast was good too, everything you could want. It was great value for money.

We had a beachfront bungalow which location wise was and views was amazing- and while we had read a couple of reviews about the noise at night from neighbouring venues we didn’t appreciate just how bad it would be and it disrupted our sleep every night into the early hours. I appreciate this isn’t the venue’s problem and would definitely visit again just not in the beachfront bungalow!

Relaxed family friendly resort

Great place to enjoy time with the family. Relaxed and well thought out, loved the kids play area being next to the restaurant so kids could play and parents finish a coffee or drink.

I just wished I had seen they had a laundry service! Please put this on the back of the bathroom door or in wardrobe because I would have loved to have used this! I saw it at reception when checking out.

Beautiful family friendly resort

We had the place nearly to ourself - during low season - so what more could a family ask for. Our kids loved the pool & slides, shallow sections perfect for little kids. Kids also loved the toy room fully equipped lots of toys and books. Great location to watch sunset. Spacious and clean rooms (daily service). Convenience store at end of driveway and lots of cheap eateries. We extended our stay twice.

Mozzies. Hard to escape anywhere though.

Food and cocktails were great. Breakfast was a great variety of foods and was amazing. Having our laundry done there was a bonus and was really cheap and convenient.

Place was busy though it didn't feel busy. Location was good and staff very helpful.

Rooms could have benefitted from a doormat, beside tables and also a platform to keep our suitcases off the floor. The manager mentioned they were soon to close for renovations so I assume these things will be addressed at that time.

A brilliant family friendly resort with stunning beach access

The location was perfect for a family, right on the beach with a super chilled beach bar too.

The smell in our bathroom. For some reason the water didn’t smell very pleasent, but did not ruin our stay.

Amazing place.

Water slide and pool the kids loved. Bar, rest area and restaurant were superb. Beach was stunning, great location. So comfortable, where we found our piece of paradise.

Bathrooms needed upgraded. We would go again however hairdryers and showers were a bit rubbish. However we know the owners are working on this.

Disappointed

Personal opinion but the only good thing about this resort is the location, beach and pool( if your lucky to get sun bed)

We got the 3 person Villa with double and single bed. The beds was horrendous, very old wooden beds with thin springy mattress that crunched as you led down or sat up. The staff was rude majority of the time. The server was blunt but found out we was leaving the next day was super nice.. probably expecting a tip. The woman on reception refused to give us bikes to rent and said it closed 9am we had to get bike before 9 as they have none left…. which we thought fair enough. Came back at 12 to ask for fresh towels, to find the guys in front of us asked to rent bikes to she said YES!!! We was shocked and questioned she didn’t reply…. Luckily we went outside and up the road to rent our bikes… which was also cheaper! I guess you get what you pay for. We’ve all been koh lanta 4 times before in different areas and resorts to this has to be our worst by far! Will not return…

Great oocation on the cozy beach Klong Kong

Perfect location on the beach! I was afraid it was going to feel too big and 'charter-like' but it absolutley did not. Very cozy sorrundings, great pool and the perfect location on the beach. The staff in the reception was very friendly.

The balconies outside the rooms are not so cozy. The pillows were so hard.

Pretty good location, large rooms with very nice balconies, especially the second-floor rooms which have pleasant views. Lovely beach for sunsets (not great for swimming). Nice enough restaurant with decent prices for Lanta, but it closes around 8:30pm. Lively bar if you can stand the smoke (weed and cigarettes both).

Upkeep should be a lot better, there were many stupid little problems that would be easy to fix. Housekeeping unmotivated. Pool taken over by families with kids (a plus if you have kids!). Way, WAY too much ganja in the bar area.

Very quiet and low key stay at a basic but good value resort

Beds were ok, AC was cold, room had a fridge and some tea and coffee and free water. Our kids loved the pool and slide! We stayed during low season so there were not many guests so we often had the whole pool to ourselves. The family rooms with bunk beds were great, much better and more spacious than the quadruple with two double beds. The bathroom was a really good size with a big walk in shower. We loved the bar on the Beachfront of the resort grounds. The bar owner Sun was super lovely and would happily order us food to be delivered whenever we wanted as the resort restaurant was not open during low season. Great guy with a cool funky beach bar with pool table. The price was excellent value for money for a family so we would stay here again. Staff organised scooter hire for us.

As it was low season, there were hardly any staff around which wasn’t too bad, except we only had our room cleaned once in six days and we had to continually ask for that. They say to put your sign out by 11am but even when we did that, it wasn’t cleaned. The cleaning was minimal, just a sheet change really as they didn’t clean the bathroom or floors or remove any dirty dishes. We felt like the reception/admin staff could have been a little more friendly by offering us advice on where to eat or what to do. A few things in the room not working properly like bed side light, TV, bathroom sink pipe leaked over the floor, nothing major. Rooms were quite dark. There were not a lot of places open nearby the hotel or anywhere on the island actually. Many places close over low season so it does feel a bit like a ghost town and the beaches fill with rubbish with the rough seas and winds which was sad to see. However, we were happy to chill at the hotel which was nice and quiet with hardly anyone around!

Bungalow was good. Furniture a little old, but enough space. I had to change rooms and the second one was too dark, do the receptionist had to call someone to install light bulbs that were missing.

On the first bungalow I stayed there were cockroaches crawling out of the bathroom every nicht. On the 3rd night having to kill cockroaches, I asked for a room change but the receptionist refused to give me a room upgrade and simply gave me the bungalow in the back. There was also a roch on that one but thankfully it was just 1.

Good stay, just don’t eat here!

We liked the pool and slides a lot, since we were traveling with a 4 year old. The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly. The front desk can help organize all kinds of trips. The facilities were outdated. It may have been because we visited during low season.

The restaurant was really poorly. I don’t say this often, but the food was really really bad. I even got food poisoning. We ended up going to the neighbors for every mail (they had a lovely restaurant and menu!!). The shower in our hotelroom could only go on two modes; cold or HOT!! That was a bit unpleasant.

we were staying in rooms D6 and D7. we were family with 2 small kids and it was interconnecting bungalows which were perfect for us. initially booked only for 1 night, but we loved place so much that we stayed there for the rest 2 weeks we had left on Koh Lanta Island. also manager gave us good price when we booked directly through her. kids loved swimming pool with the slide🛝 and my little 2 year old boy loved little pool with little baby slide. we met quite few families that extended their stays because of location convenience and water slides. perfect location on the beach, very romantic and relaxing, although quite busy so doesn’t feel dead. staff very friendly and helpful. bungalows newly renovated. massage beds on the beach for 400baht 1hr massage. if we ever go to Koh Lanta we would definitely stay there again. we felt like at home there.
