Great option for a beach holiday at Koh Lanta

We had a great stay. Very green property with spacious bungalows. The pool is a great alternative to when the tides make it difficult to swim in the ocean. Food and staff at the restaurant and bar are very friendly. Other restaurant options are close by. They also have a massage space on the property.

The property is situated right next to the beach, bars, restaurants and massage. It also has a pool. The food is beautiful but the staff are absolutely a credit to this resort. Nothing is too much trouble very helpful arranging trips for us and ferries. Ron and his brother are just the best owners and I would def use as a base when I come back.

Unfortunately I booked the wrong room and instead of a bungalow booked a standard room. It did have a fab but no air con which is totally my fault not the resorts. The standard room is clean and basic and has a fridge.

Perfect beachfront spot for families with delicious food and drinks!

The staff were all very kind especially Ron who really helped us out when we had to urgently leave our unsafe accommodation at Puteri Family Villas and he stayed late to let us in. The location on the beach is amazing - the best sunset spot! The food was so cheap and so so delicious. Best pad Thai since being in Thailand and only 100baht. The room is comfortable and clean. The pool area was fun for the kids and the whole place has a very safe and relaxed atmosphere. It is also great value for money.

Excellent value, lovely staff, cool area.

The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Hotel itself is excellent value and has a mellow, relaxed atmosphere. Pool was clean and uncrowded. Very cool bar attached to the restaurant and the other two most popular spots in the area are next door (mushroom bar and freedom bar). The area in general is a bit more hippie/ hobo feel than Longbeach and as such everything is a bit cheaper. Definitely more interesting than some of the more romantic areas if you are travelling alone.

The bathroom was a bit depressing. Shower although good pressure was a hand held affair which I struggled to use as prefer an overhead. Other than that, no complaints.

Bungalow Room exceeded what I expected.Food there was good and not overpriced. All staff very friendly.Good location by beach. Onward boat booked at the desk there was cheaper than an online booking and better information given.

A peaceful stay by the beach.

The location is amazing right near the beach where you can watch breathtaking sunsets. Lovely pool and good restaurants nearby. Staff were very informative and provided many services including laundry and day trips.

The shower water pressure wasn’t very strong and the beds were a little uncomfortable but can be overlooked considering the price of the hotel.

We didn’t stay. Unfortunately the place was not as advertised and oddly nobody there. I payed a lot of money for this place when I booked it from home. I got there and couldn’t get my money back when it was 1/3 of the price I had paid. We moved on

Mixed bag

I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was lovely and friendly and did all they could to make our stay comfortable. The location was right on the beach, and an easy walk to many restaurants and bars. The beach and the water out front was nice and clean. No trash. The pool was nice, clean, and refreshing. The not so good is the state of the property: It’s definitely seen better days. The bungalows are old and tired. I don’t watch TV, but looking at a bare wall with a bracket where a tv used to be is a bit depressing. Also, the AC barely kept pace with the heat and the room never really cooled off. So, bottom line, I thought the price was fair - maybe a little high for what we got since breakfast was not included, but - I would have gladly spent an extra $20-$30 a night for a more updated place.

It's a good location. Nice bar. Staff is very friendly and the massages are very nice.

Loads of (loud) children. Hard bed. Only a few beds at the pool that were always occupied by families. WiFi did not work in the room (several routers) but was very good at reception and bar. Honestly, It didn't feel as a three star place but rather two.

The location, the staff, the seaside restaurant and the freeway 420 bar! You can rent mopeds easily and you get all the infos you need and more :)

We had a hotelroom with AC (not a bungalow) cause we booked the day before and there werent any bungalows left. Our room was quite basic but it has everything you need. There's also a blacony with a nice view at the resort garden.

Good experience overall

Very spacious property and rooms. Restaurant on site. Nice pool & able to watch the sunset from the hotel which is a bonus if you don’t feel up to leaving the hotel.

We opted for a room with fan but I think it could be beneficial to maybe have a small fridge in those rooms? Was a bit inconvenient not having one as water would go warm very quick.

Stayed for 2 nights and moved on. My opinion there are nicer places to stay nearby and similar cost.

Toilet didn’t flush. Bathroom dimly lit and didn’t feel super clean. The grounds needed maintaining a bit better, there was a plastic recycling right outside our bungalow which made it feel a bit shabby.

Couldn’t have got out of there quick enough.

The location right on the beach is lovely, and looked like a nice pool. However, that is about it.

The room we stayed in looked and felt like a prison. Bare concrete floor, uncomfy bed and lumpy pillows. Dirt and other unknown marks all over the walls. Not to mention the ant infestation. We could only stay for one night out of the three we booked before we had to move to a different hotel. Would NOT recommend, our room did not look like the photos. Maybe we were unlucky as pictures looked good, but would not recommend based on our experience.

Super staff great location

The staff were great at lanta emerald the owner is very friendly and was always there to help with anything we needed. We stayed here as a couple it had everything we needed the location is great right on the beach. There is a restaurant here with delicious food and big menu and a bar next door, There is a massage area in the corner of the premises also ehich is super convenient. Although we were a couple here and enjoyed it, It is the perfect place for familys.

It was awful. I have traveled a lot on a budget and this was one of the worst places to stay.

The only thing going for this place was the location.

This property was far below expectations. The bed had pee stains on it and it smelled. There were ant and cockroaches in the room. The bathroom sink was so high my tall 8 year old could not wash his hands or brush his teeth. The beds were extremely hard. Might as well have slept on the floor. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. There are many other places just down the street that I would recommend trying out. This place is not worth the money.

Great location, close to lots of good restaurants and 7-eleven (approx. 10 min walk). It's directly at the beach, which is great. The staff was really nice.

Next time I would book a bungalow for just a little more but if you're on a budget, it's okay for a night or two. However, we had two bugs on the bed, which is normal in warm countries in combination with doors that do not end directly with the floor but it was still an unpleasant surprise.
