Would come back.

Great staff, lots of services provided eg ferry to other island with transfer, motorbike hire. Great location near the beach, good part of the island, nice atmosphere amongst the forest and birds. Amenities nearby.

Probably due to low price point it was slightly dirty, hut made of flimsy wood, no bed frames. But I think that’s part of the experience!

Hut was so flimsy I thought would fall through floor. Bathroom part walls were i believe made of asbestos. Building word in grounds.

A great option for anyone travelling on a budget seeking a comfy and unusual place to stay.

These huts are so lovely and they provide a really local experience. Would recommend to anyone travelling on a budget and seeking a genuine experience. The location is great and the beach nearby is nice!

My hut was a bit noisy at times because of the mechanic activities happing in the property next door (loud cooling system or similar). otherwise a great stay.

Basic

Close to the beach. I booked when it had a discount so it wasn't too expensive. The bed in the tent was very comfy, and the tent came with a fan and light.

The bathroom was awful. It had these large aggressive insects that would dive bomb you when you tried to have a shower. No mirror or hooks in the bathroom. The tent had a large hole so def wasnt insect proof. Most of the staff were not friendly or welcoming, only on the last day was there a different staff member (a younger guy) who was the only one who said hello and smiled at me.

If you’re looking to stay in a hut this is the place for you, you are paying for what you get and it is basic but perfect for 3 nights. We really enjoyed staying here and loved the hammock outside. Theres lovely places to eat on the beach with pool tables very close by and you can rent a moped from them for a good price. It does get very very hot in there but your provided with a strong fan so you’ll be fine.

The only downside is that you might get violated by the mosquitoes as I did but this is inevitable as your staying in a hut. You might get lucky, you might not be so lucky. Also the shower is quite weak but you still have a functioning toilet room so it’s manageable for 3 nights.

Loved the simplicity of this place. I’m not giving it top marks simply because it’s basic. But I loved staying here because of that and it was so cheap. You get what you pay for, but it’s pretty clean, the location is superb (right by the beach), scooter rental is cheap and the owner Arun is helpful and at times friendly. Be warned that the bed is a thin foam mattress, the mosquito nets are old with a few holes in, the bathroom is ‘rustic’ but it’s 8€ a night so it’s absolutely ideal and I actually loved the simplicity. I extended my stay and booked my trips and tours through Arun who is by far cheaper than other agencies (I shopped around a lot). So if you are on a budget, happy with sharing with the geckos and want peace, simplicity and back to nature - here’s the place for you.

I thought Aruns wife was quite unfriendly, and rude and infact most other guests thought the sane of both. So I would suggest they smile more and are friendlier to the guests if they want people to enjoy it there. The mosquito nets are very very dirty and hole ridden - I told Arun this (they had blood on too) and he laughed when I suggested he buy some new ones.. he said no no we tie up the hole... Like I said you get what you pay for and overall it was perfect for my needs and I’d stay again.

Beautiful individual bamboo hut. The owner is a nice person and very helpful. The restaurant provides tasty, fresh food and breakfast at a very reasonable price. Each hut had a hammock, very useful for relaxing :)) Location was calm and accessible to local shops. There was a fridge for all guests to use which was very convenient for our drinks.

It's open everywhere, therefore be ready to have frogs, warms, cockroaches, lizards as roommates! My mattress was very uncomfortable and it was moving like a boat each time I toss. Beach close by was not accessible due to a hard surface, you have to walk long to be able to swim. The hut was very hot in the day time, much warmer than outside weather!

Top Lage, hilfreiche Besitzer aber leider etwas dreckig

Die Lage ist der Hammer, die Unterkunft ist nur drei Minuten vom Strand entfernt. In die andere Richtung gibt es viele Restaurants, einen Seven-11 und Läden. Mein Zelt hatte einen Ventilator und Stromanschluss. Nachdem man ursprünglich von der Straße aus direkt in mein Zelt schauen konnte, habe ich gefragt, ob ich vielleicht eine Decke o.ä. haben kann, um dies zu verhindern. Der Besitzer und seine Frau haben mir die Decke dann sogar selbst am Zelt befestigt. Man kann auch Touren usw. buchen, diese haben vergleichsweise gute Preise.

Leider wurde das Zelt während der gesamten Zeit (5 Nächte) nicht ein Mal geputzt, es war also gegen Ende hin recht sandig. Auch die Dusche sah eher nicht so aus, als ob sie oft geputzt wird.

Toilette et douches très usées. Nous pensons que le prix payé est trop élevé pour ce que c'est offert. Planché recouvert d'un prélart usé qui semble cacher des trou dans le plancher. Matelas confortable au sol, pas de petits meubles. Le monsieur donne un bon service avec les moyens qu'il a.

Nicht empfehlenswert

Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Strand ist super, Restaurants, Läden, 7 Eleven gut erreichbar

Ich schreibe normalerweise keine schlechten Rezensionen, diesmal aber denke ich dass sie Betreiber auch wissen sollten warum wir ( und auch 2 andere Paare die ebenfalls früher gegangen sind ) nicht wohlgefühlt haben. Das Personal war sehr unfreundlich, nur 1 Wort Sätze, ungeduldig, kein Lächeln. Die Hütten sind so baufällig dass echte Sorge besteht durch den Boden zu krachen sobald man nicht auf den Mittelbalken läuft. Der Wasserhahn ist nicht zu schließen und läuft die ganze Zeit,Spiegel total blind, auf den Moskitonetzen ist alles voll Kacke von irgendwelchen Tierchen( Gecko? ) Plus Müll. Die Laken sind löchrig. Meine Wäsche die ich dort abgegeben habe kam gut duftend, leider voll mit weißen Schlieren zurück. Inmitten der Hütten ist eine mords Baustelle weil dort mehr Unterkünfte gebaut werden, die ganze Anlage ist sehr lieblos gehalten. Wir haben 3 Übernachtungen gebucht und sind früher abgereist. So wie einige andere.

Ideal para backpacker

La hospitalidad del personal, en especial Aaron y su mujer. La cercanía de la playa y restaurantes. El alojamiento cuenta con ventilador y mosquitero. La verdad que la comodidad que tuvimos durante 3 noches superó nuestras expectativas que teníamos al inicio. Si vuelvo a Koh Lanta repitiría sin duda, no hay ningun otro mejor calidad/precio.
