An amazing stay and we would definitely come back.

The room was immaculate, and the vibe was perfectly chill. Truly felt like home after long days of adventures. Finally, the owner Sven is incredibly helpful and runs a delicious cafe onsite so if we ever needed a break the hotel was all we ever needed.

Solo stay

Clean, modern, lovely aesthetics. Location was great, also near the beach - just a walk across the main road. Facilities were good. Nice cafe/restaurant and seating area. I definitely would return. Staff are informative and approachable. Dorms have a window and air-conditioning, also curtains on the beds. Spacious and comfortable. Lockers. Can hang wet stuff up outside. Really nice garden area with a lot of green and plants.

A very pleasant and quiet hotel with character and authenticity. Superb location for exploring the island by scooter! Excellent on-site restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

I can’t like a hotel more than this one. Honestly, the cleanest and coolest place I’ve stayed in Thailand so far. Every single detail is so well thought out - the modern design is incredible and feels very intentional. The staff is also so nice and welcoming🌞

I absolutely loved my stay at DOX Lanta Hostel. What truly sets this place apart is the incredible family who runs it. Sven and Sunny are the heart and soul of the hostel, and they could not have been kinder, more welcoming, or more attentive. From the moment I arrived, they went above and beyond to make me feel at home. They were always ready to help with anything, from tips about the island to arranging scooter rentals at great prices – and their warm energy created such a relaxed, friendly vibe. On my last day, we even shared a meal together, they just love sharing! They’re simply lovely people, and their genuine hospitality made all the difference. The hostel itself is cozy, clean, and in a great location, close to all the main spots, but still peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep. Whether you’re solo traveling or with friends, DOX Lanta is the perfect place to stay. I can’t recommend it enough, I left with wonderful memories and the biggest smile on my face!

Amazing stay with super helpful hosts.

Amazing host who lives there with his family, super helpful and kind. Giving tips what to do around. Fixing and issue if there is any with the amazing accommodations. It was quiet when I was there so he upgraded me for free. This place deserves more traffic!

Loved it!

Very comfortable rooms, clean and had everything we needed for our stay including a hammock. We had some of the breakfast one morning and it was delicious. The staff were super lovely and such a sweet family. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Relaxing

This place was so neat. Very modern and clean. The rooms are quite nice and have large lockers. Outdoor common spaces are great at night when it’s cooler out. The owners are so sweet and accommodating. Motorbikes are available for rent which is necessary on Koh Lanta

Super relaxed place with nice outside space. Rooms comfortable and bathrooms very clean. Staff are super friendly and helpful

Lockers too small for big backpacks but there is space on the floor or bottom of the bed for them. Difficult to get down from top bunk

The location was fantastic - a short walk to the beach. Lots of outdoor communal areas. Dorms and bathrooms clean! Free water.

I felt there wasn’t enough toilets/showers. I sometimes had to queue to use both. Beds were uncomfortable. Wifi was weak in the dorm

Lovely, cozy place to stay on Koh Lanta

Beautiful garden with hammocks to chill, cozy dorm with only four beds. comfortable and super clean bathrooms. Well designed, you feel like home here. On Wednesdays they have a food market in the garden with life music, which was very cool. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

The bed mattress is quite hard, which you will experience often in Thailand. The bed curtains could be more proper, the ones they had are being torn apart easily.

Disappointing!

Location was good and the garden area is pleasant.

This place could be so much more. The rooms are super basic considering the cost. There were never any staff around should you need anything and there was just no atmosphere in general. We expected a fun, upbeat environment but it couldn’t have been further from that. It was really disappointing because I think with some effort this place could be a little gem.

Clean & Chill Place

Hostel is clean and the room was fairly spacious. Sven was very chill and accommodating. Laundry services were available for 50B per kilo. The garden was quite nice, but the Beats & Eats event didn’t happen because it was slow when we came through.

Beds were on the firm side.

The property was beautiful, but still under construction. There were only 2 others staying there who I did not meet so at the moment, I would not recommend as a female solo traveller. the bathrooms were also outdoors so there were a tonne of mosquitoes.
