    I loved our stay at Thai Smile Bungalows. The place is super clean and comfortable - in fact the pictures dont do justice to the beauty. Location is fantastic - convenient to visit both north and south of the island and a lot of eateries around.The staff is super warm and welcoming. Would highly recommend it.

    Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Thai Smile. The owners and staff are really kind and nice. The bungalows are well maintained and clean. Beds are super comfy which makes you sleep like a baby. We could do laundry after crazy 10 days of monsoon, rent a scooter when we needed an additional one, we asked for bowls to be able to prep fruit salad and were given them. The last 2 nights we slept in a bungalow with a cute terrace where we could make friends with a local cow - what else to ask for haha the only improvement we could suggest would be building some shelves so guests would be able to unpack their backpacks instead of having them laying around on the floor. Which was a problem at the time since after monsoon there were ants visiting one of the rooms in the very first day. It's normal though given the location so no complaints about the ants obviously:) also staff used the spray and they were gone. overall truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the place without hesitation.

    Exceptional Hospitality is what sets Thai Smiles apart from any other place we have stayed in worldwide. We felt like we were staying with close relatives from the first day of our stay. Every staff person was so kind and friendly. We stayed in two different bungalows because we extended our stay with them. Both were immaculately clean and kept that way through our 2 weeks there. Attention to detail in so many ways was noteworthy. I doubt one could find a more professionally run lodging business, anywhere. We leaned on Dave heavily for recommendations and advice and he steered us right every time. The flowers and plants on the grounds are stunning. The location on the island is perfect to access the busy north of the island and slower, more scenic south. We rented a motorcycle at Thai Smiles to easily access it all. It’s off the main road just enough so you don’t hear the road noise. Lastly, we researched highly rated dining options prior to our arrival on Koh Lanta. We tried almost all of them but none topped the restaurant at Thai Smiles. Lek is a truly talented chef. Her Penang and chicken satay will rule our culinary memories until we can return once again to Koh Lanta and Thai Smiles.

    Dave and Lek were hands down the best hosts I’ve had at any accomodation. Dave greeted me right from the van and got me settled in right away. I was taught how to drive a motorbike that you can rent from them! The room was kept spotless each night. If I ever find myself on Koh Lanta again, I won’t stay anywhere else. Also the restaurant is amazing, the friendliest staff I’ve ever had!
