Great location and super helpful staff.

Spacious private villas .. little dated but spotlessly clean and well located. Ideal if you’re not bothered about being beach side. Hire a scooter and whizz up and down the island.

Breakfast could be improved by the addition of the real coffee. Also As we were in a large family villa there was no mosquito nets which would be easy to fit.

It was exactly what we expected and a little bit more. The staff are so lovely.

Front desk people were always helpful. We arranged our tourts through them and they were very helpful with changing our airport shuttle times. We had breakfast included. There was a great variety, perfect portion sizes and very yummy. I loved that there were umbrellas in the pool area. There were was always someone there but never crowded. The pool was a great size and very clean. The rooms were a great size and clean. The housekeeping staff were very helpful when my son was sick. Everything we needed was within walking distance although we did hire scooters to check out other areas. Overall, we loved our stay at Lanta Lapaya.

Totally recommend this resort and I'm totally confident you won't be disappointed.

Absolutely everything - the complex is well maintained with beautiful gardens and the pool was spotless with daily cleaning including the pump and filters. The studio we stayed in was spacious, clean and more than adequate. All rooms were large in size and the bed was extremely comfortable. The selection for breakfast was very impressive. The staff were so friendly and helpful - reception, breakfast room, gardener and cleaning staff are a credit to Lanta Lapaya Resort. I was given a birthday cake and the girls in the breakfast room sang Happy Birthday which was a lovely surprise.

A beautiful resort just a short walk from the beach

The rooms were so clean, the facilities were great, the pool area was lovely and the staff were amazing! We stayed here for three nights and had such a lovely time. There are so many breakfast options to choose from. It was my partners birthday and they even organised a cake for him! Would highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful hotel

Lovely hotel, staff were so helpful. We had a problem with our bunks beds and shower, they moved us immediately but we saw their maintenance man fix shower head as soon as we moved. 2min walk to the beach, with numerous bars and restaurants.

Limited beds around pool,wasn't really an issue as we always got one but they could do with some more for guest who get to the pool later in the day. Nobody saved chairs which was great. Need bins by pool.

Chill location, lovely pool, comfy rooms

Very lovely staff, the owner/manager lady is amazing, welcoming and helpful. Rooms very clean spacious, comfy beds, big bathroom, daily cleaning and water supplies, great help with tours, scooter rental and transfers. Lovely pool with breathtaking sunset

The location is not the best if you don’t have a scooter - but I suppose most of you will have one. Around the area there are some nice restaurants at the beach but you still need a transport to the main town walking street or for the nicer beaches and sightseeing. Anyways it was lovely and we loved the stuff and the owner

Lanta Lapaya ticked all the boxes for an affordable & relaxing holiday.

Overall very good value for money. We visited in November 2025 & paid approximately £30 a night. Although not a beachfront location, it only takes a couple of minutes walk to feel the sand between your toes. Staff were all incredibly friendly & helpful. Rooms spacious, clean & functional. Housekeeping on request by hanging the ‘make up room’ sign on the door. Water, coffee/creamer & toilet paper topped up every morning. Choice of breakfast sets. Pool area is lovely with cushioned loungers & sunshades, plenty big enough for doing proper laps - it was always virtually empty during our visit 🙂. Rented a scooter from reception for B250 a day. Laundry service reasonably priced with very quick turn around. Khong Klong is only a smallish resort but has plenty of dining options, a small 7/11, a mini Big C, etc so it’s easy to get everyday essentials. The beach is pleasant & it is possible to swim at high tide. Low tide exposes the rocks which are great for a spot of rock pooling & shell collecting. Secret Beach & Beautiful Beach (small entry charge) are within walking distance. We liked the location as it’s about half way down the west coast, so we found it ideal for exploring the island - Nui Beach was our favourite find.

Comfortable small-scale resort with nice pool

Nice small-scale resort, great pool to relax in a beautiful garden, big and comfortable bungalow. It’s a 5min walk to the beach and restaurants on the main street in 2-3min walking (our favorites were The Angels restaurant (!!), Bow’s pizza if you crave a cheesy pizza and Bamboo restaurant) as well as a shop and currency exchange. Our warm water was not working when we arrived but they immediately fixed it, staff was very friendly and attentive.

Utopia for me.

Loved the location of our bungalow#2 overlooking the pool area,and beach front. Staff are exceptionally friendly,and ready to assist you with any need. Hotel and grounds very clean ,and maintenance occurs throughout the day. Fresh, cold water available as you require in reception area ,and reusable bottle provided.Restaurant and Beach bar area, very user friendly. Amazing ocean outlook.

Accommodation was fine

The property itself was fine, it can be noisy in the room at night when raining, I think low season is probably a bad time to visit the island.

Not directed at the accommodation, but the area is pretty run down. Most businesses appear to be closed, some of the bars that are still open Jane pretty poor reviews. The rest are all empty in low season. Leaves little to do. It’s probably a bit better during high season

Overall a very nice hotel with great staff but the location could have been better.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were nice and spatious and the garden beautiful. Cleaning was okay but not perfect. Great food and breakfast.

The downpart of this hotel was its location right next to a busy road. When in the room we didn’t hear the traffic, but in the restaurant where the breakfast was served the noise was loud. The beach is a short walk away but you have to cross the road to get there. The beach has a lot of rocks that made it difficult to swim. Swimmingshoes is recommended.

Very good

The room was spacious, clean and comfy. We had a separate lounge to the bedroom which was nice. Bathroom was massive with a powerful shower. Wi-Fi was good and the staff were lovely. We hired a moped with them and they were a great help when we had some trouble.

The pool was under construction (due to it being low season) but there was no warning of this. They allowed us to use a pool of another hotel a 2 minute walk away which was very considerate. However that pool was filthy and had ALOT of dead creatures in it. That was hotel also looked empty. Not a fault of Lapaya’s. If the pool was in use it would have been a 10/10

Nice resort, good location

Nice property, very nice, big rooms (we were staying in a separate bungalow), great bathroom. Good location not far from the beach and with decent food options in walking distance.

Pool was closed when we were there, which was not advertised when we booked (they did provide access to a pool at another resort down the street)

The room was very big, clean and comfortable. The hotel area is lovely and relaxing. The location is good, but i recommend a scooter, to explore the whole island. The staff was mostly very friendly and helpful. We could rent a scooter for the week, everything went smooth. Overall we had a great week and would definitly recommend a stay. We will come back, if we visit Thailand again.

On two days the water didn't work for some hours. Also we had some problems with the laundry, since they lost a piece, but the manager refunded us the price. Without this, the resort would be a 10/10 for us.

A good value on Koh Lanta

I liked the large clean pool. I thought the restaurant provided tasty meals. The size of the room was large and it was clean. The shower had good hot water and the room was very quiet for sleeping.

The bedroom was dark, and I asked for a table lamp. The front desk girl said they would bring me a lamp and they never brought one. One has to walk up a long hill to get to the rooms which might be difficult for older people.

GREAT PLACE! GREAT STAFF! Great beds, atmosphere, food, WIFI, location, near 7-11 and great places to eat at night and in the afternoon! The pool was FANTASTIC also!

NOTHING. I LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE. GREAT PLACE TO STAY while in Koh Lanta. More chill and quiet then Koh Phi Phi. Beach water isn't as great as PHI PHI but still a nice place to relax.

Huge, spotlessly clean modern bungalows. Lovely garden and pool area. Great choice for breakfast, made to order. Staff were wonderful allowing us to bring forward our stay as we had to go home earlier than planned due to coronavirus lock downs. As we also had to cut our stay from 3 to 2 nights, they upgraded us - although they didn't tell us! Wonderful surprise 😊 Even without an upgrade, all types of room are fantastic value for money. Good location near good restraunts and a 7eleven. Hope we can come back next year for a longer stay!

旺季一千多的房价极其不值，马路对面海滩边的可可兰塔很漂亮玩海又方便

房间面积很大，是个套间。泳池和花园很漂亮

首先酒店不在海滩上，而是在海滩马路对面的山坡上。去海滩要穿过马路，再穿过海滩边的度假村，大概走两三百米。早餐是套餐，一份女生可以吃饱，食量大的男生要加钱多点一份才够。酒店前台由一家穿黑罩袍的女人打理，英语不错，我们试图找她们预定出租车和一日游，报价都比外面的贵，并且当我们在酒店旁边找双条车讲价时，前台女人大声用当地话和司机说了什么，导致司机报价也一分不让，直到我们走到她看不见的地方才行。

Abzocke

Eine absolute Abzocke! Das schlechteste Preis-Leistungsverhältnis das wir in Thailand je hatten. Wir haben für 2 Tage ein Doppelzimmer gebucht um dann vor Ort nach einer geeigneten Unterkunft zu suchen. Geworben wird mit einer tollen Anlage (die auch schön ist), was jedoch nicht erwähnt wird, das die Doppelzimmer in einer alten Anlage auf der anderen Straßenseite liegen, kein einziges Fenster im ganzen Zimmer außer ein winziges im Bad. Das ist in Thailand an und für sich ja nichts ungewöhnliches aber nicht für umgerechnet fast 80.-€ die Nacht!!! Das grenzt absolut an Abzocke und das schlimmste kommt noch - man schläft ungefähr 10 Meter neben der viel befahrenen Hauptstraße- Lärm ohne Ende als sitze man am Pannenstreifen der Autobahn. Wir sind wirklich nicht wählerisch und haben schon in billigen Unterkünften ohne jeglichen Komfort genächtigt aber das hat uns echt den Urlaub versaut. Als Kommentar an der Rezeption kam dann man hätte sich ja die Fotos genauer anschauen können... Jetzt wohnen wir in einem großen Bungalow in der Nähe mit großer Terrasse und allem Komfort weg von der Hauptstraße für nicht mal 30.-€ Ich kann die Zimmer leider überhaupt nicht empfehlen

Ontbijt was karig Voor iemand met een gemiddelde trek is het onvoldoende. Cappuccino moest apart worden betaald. Geen melk.
