The beachfront side is good price-value

Nice garden, good restaurant, the “beachfront” bungalows are close to the beach (but they are not beqchfront). Very tasty mango sticky rice! Good location within the settlement, convenience stores and very good restaurants, groceries located in the near.

Misleading description of the rooms: “jungle room” is separated by the 4 lane mainroad from the “beachfront” bungalows and restaurant and the beach itself. “Beachfront” bungalows are not beachfront, and are also not directly on the beach. Low waterpressure. No clear communication about cleaning of the rooms (there is cleaning upon request which is OK if you have the respective sign in the room, it was missing from ours).

It was honestly perfect!

I stayed on the Jungle Side, and it was absolutely perfect. Just 2 minutes’ walk to the main street and only 5 minutes to the beach, yet still very quiet and peaceful. Waking up to the sound of birds singing was such a dream and sometimes you even see monkeys, cows, and local villagers passing by, which makes the experience feel very authentic and special. The restaurant is excellent definitely a must-try and the location is super convenient with 7-Eleven, clinics, and shops just nearby. Everything you need is within walking distance. You can also book tours directly at the reception, which makes planning activities really easy and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing stay close to nature but still near everything

We really enjoyed our stay at Sonya Kohlanta as you have nice, well-equipped Bungalows, very friendly personnel, an overalll very well-organized place, amazing breakfast and the best value-for-money. We would come back anytime.

As we had two bungalows we had the chance to experience that the ones in the back are much more quiet and relaxed as the ones in front.

Fantastic Value For Money Bungalows

Fantastic staff who helped organise activities with patience and good humour. Great location just a 2 minute stroll to beautiful Khlong Kong beach. Excellent food in the restaurant and the room had good a/c, nice shower facilities and comfortable beds. Great value for money, highly recommended.

It is located near everything one could possibly want or need for your stay close to Klong Klong Beach area of Lanta. I found the place quiet and peaceful to be close to almost everything.

Good location and comfortable bungalows

Staff, location and the restaurant are great. The bungalow is simple yet comfortable. It's enjoyable and we had a good sleep our whole stay. It's a good value for money.

Una estadía aceptable y dudosa relación costo/beneficio.

La ubicación es buena pero la habitación que nos dieron estaba a 200 mts de la recepción, en un camino de tierra, algo alejado.

Faltaba jabón y shampoo, toallas chicas, algún vaso para lavarse los dientes y el baño no tiene espejo. Además tiene ventanas muy chicas y resulta poco ventilado.

Das Frühstück (Zusatzkosten) ist recht gut. Fußweg zum Strand (3Min.). Relativ ruhig. Nette Bungalows mit Hängematte und Stühlen vor dem Eingang.

Das Frühstück ist preislich im Vergleich nicht ganz günstig. Aus der Dusche kommt sehr wenig Wasser.

Room Service kam entweder gar nicht oder unregelmässig, Trinkwasser musste ich in den ersten Tagen selbst holen. Beim Wasserkocher war der Deckel kaputt, was lästig war.

Nette und schlichte Unterkunft in Meernähe

Die Unterkunft liegt nahe am Strand, ca. 3 Gehminuten. Ein Restaurant mit guten Frühstück und Essen ist auch dabei. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die kleinen Häuser sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber sauber. Es gibt eine gute Klimaanlage und eine Kühlschrank. Einfach aber ausreichend eingerichtet.

Im Badezimmer hat der Wasseranschluss getropft, das dürfte dem Reinigungspersonal aufgefallen sein und es wurde rasch behoben. Die kleine Terasse vor dem Haus sieht auf den Fotos deutlich größer aus. Eigentlich ist es nur ein kleiner Bereich vor der Türe mit zwei Sesseln und einer kleinen Hängematte, alles dicht nebeneinander...eher ungemütlich. Die Betten waren sehr hart. Der Preis war schon eher hoch, ist wahrscheinlich wegen der Saison und Nähe zum Meer.

Veel dingetjes kapot en erg basic ingericht. Airco moeilijk af te stellen. Moest zelf vragen om badmatje. Deluxe is in mijn ogen iets meer. Gezien prijs kwaliteit iets meer van verwacht.

Ihan siisti ja rauhallinen paikka. Palvelu pelasi hyvin, kyydit ja skootterin vuokraus.

Huoneen sijainti oli yllätys sillä osa huoneista sijaitsee erillisessä rakennuksessa viidakossa josta on jonkin verran matkaa päätielle. Sänky aivan liian kova ja suihkusta ei juurikaan tule vettä. Oma sääskiverkko kannattaa ottaa mukaan, katossa sentään on koukku. Oltiin neljä yötä, huonetta ei siivottu kertaakaan.
