Allowing that Koh Lanta is known as a laid back area best for relaxing, this location was fine.
Sadly, our first room suffered an ant infestation. Note, they moved us to a new room. But the air conditioner was not working so ... we were moved to a third room which was fine.

The hotel is right on the beach with lovely views from the restaurant and conveniently located near lots of other restaurants, a 7 11 and tour operators
The bed was terribly hard and some staff are a bit abrupt. There are different levels of rooms which didn’t seem apparent when we booked looks like the garden bungalows are nicer with softer mattresses

Close to the sea. There are 2 swimming pools around the hotel. Good breakfast, but sometimes available only from 7.30 a.m. and not from 7.00 a.m. If the excursion starts at 8.10 a.m., it is little bit late for normal breakfast without hurry. Some times in happy hours - alcohol cocktails just for 100 THB. Tour desk for local excursions and transfers close to hotel for reasonable prices (some times cheaper than on GETYOURGIDE and another online travel agents). It also possible to rent motorbike from the hotel. Laundry service is also available. Not far from 7/11 minimarket and close to local restaurants.
TV service was little bit scrambling. To swim in the sea you can only during the morning hours. In the afternoon it is too low tide and sea shore is not suitable for comfortable swimming.

Pool was nice but could be more clean, 7-eleven very near. The shower was warm.
The room was dirty when we arrived with other peoples rubbish and pants lying around the room, however the staff were very apologetic and sorted it out right away. WiFi didn’t reach our room which was really annoying.
I think there’s only one cleaner for the majority of the rooms bless her. I think it would be a good idea for the hotel to hire more cleaners to give her a hand.
Online it says check out at 12 so we took our time packing to move on, however, the staff wouldn’t leave us alone and banged on our door multiple times asking us to leave. I understand they need to get the room clean and ready for the next people but if you say check out is at 12 then obviously I’m going to use that time to relax a few more hours and get my stuff together. Maybe change the time to check out at 8 or 9.
