Ya and her team are fantastic hosts. We were made very welcome, the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well furnished. The pool was great, clean with plenty of beds to relax on. The Gardens are beautifully kept, with a few interesting visitors lurking in the ponds. The food selection was excellent. They clearly have a talented chef in house. The location was perfectly acceptable. 5 minute walk to a beach in either direction. I would totally recommend. In fact I may go back.

I was planning on going to a market and cooking in the villa, but i didnt find any shops other than a 7/11 and the kitchen in the apartment didn't have a lot for cooking. However, I'm certain that if I'd asked Ya for extra utensils she would have obliged.

We didn’t stay long enough but if i stayed longer, a light for the writing desk and/or a cozy smaller light source for the living room would be nice. But this was not really an issue in our 3-night stay.

Lovely eco-retreat close to the beach

Beautiful peaceful property within walking distance to the beach. We had a two-bedroom villa for our group of four, and it was perfect for us. We liked bed the big deck overlooking the pond and the amazing pool. We saw bee-eaters and sunbirds, among others. And the breakfast onsite is delicious. They supplied us with lots of cold water in glass bottles, which they reuse, and we loved all the work they have done to create a sustainable oasis.

Great place to stay

Anything was great, the Ambiente was nice and the service by Ms. Ya and her staff was perfect. We loved the pool and the nicely prepared breakfast and the lovely atmosphere. The beach is in walking distance. We visited Arthaya Villas outside the main season. At that time the beaches on Lanta island were deserted and not very clean. We therefore enjoyed the main time of our Kol Kanta stay at Arthaya Villas. We also rented a motorcycle from here for 200 Bhat/day, which enabled us to explore Ko Lanta.

This place is a tropical hug. The garden is basically a live-action nature documentary, complete with geckos, singing birds and pretty flowers. The villa was spacious and spotless. The staff? So warm, welcoming, and helpful. And the location? Perfectly tucked near Beautiful and Relax Bay. Truly an oasis.

The staff was wonderful, they were so lovely and kind. We loved our stay. The pool was very nice and the villas were really comfortable.

The only downside is that there is only airconditioning in the bedroom. The rest of the villa does have a fan.

A tranquil and relaxing stay for couples amidst beautiful gardens during the low season, offering great value and eco-fr

We stayed for 5 nights at Arthaya and had a wonderfully relaxing time during the quiet low season in May, offering great value. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Ya, the lovely owner, and her friendly staff, who served us refreshing drinks and kindly upgraded us to a 2-bedroom villa. The tropical garden grounds were peaceful and beautiful, with fruits hanging from some trees and a gorgeous scent of flowers in the evenings. The pool was clean and of decent size, perfect for a refreshing swim. The villa itself was spacious, very clean, and well-designed, with good insulation that kept the cool AC air inside. The property was decorated with attention to every detail and utilized solar energy. We had everything we needed, from reliable Wi-Fi to a mosquito coil holder, kitchen utensils, a strong shower with hot water, ample wardrobe space to hang our clothes and store our belongings, high-quality linens, and a large fridge-freezer. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Housekeeping was available upon request, and we received two fresh glass bottles of drinking water daily. Ya also assisted us with our transfer to Krabi for a small fee, and everything went smoothly. Additionally, we rented a well-maintained scooter from her at the standard price of 200 baht per day. During the day, Ya's comfortable café restaurant on-site offered morning coffee, baked goods, breakfast, and lunch. The location was approximately a 10-minute walk to Beautiful Beach or Gintare Beach, with a couple of restaurants and a minimart nearby. However, given the hot and sunny weather in May, we would recommend renting a motorbike as walking could be quite uncomfortable. The Saladan speedboat pier was about 8 km away and easily accessible by car or tuktuk.

Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet, great facilities, delicious little cafe as part of this hotel. The rooms are spacious and new. We had a small issue with a shower and it was fixed immediately. The staff is really really responsive to any requests. Also help with scooter rental. Oh and the pool is beautiful!

I did not like the location much as it's a bit far from the beach so I was missing the beach view...

absolutely wonderful stay here!!!!! the villas are incredible, clean and spacious!!!! the pool is fantastic! great location and easy to get around! we hired a moped for a couple of days and explored the island easily, one word of advice, hire a larger moped if you are going to the National park etc as ours struggled a little with the hills haha!!! cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, staff are exceptional and the food is incredible!!!! we were treated to 10 star luxury here!!! we will be back!!!

We would definitely stay there again.

We were very impressed with the level of customer service and the friendliness of the staff. I suffered an accident while snorkelling (fish hook in my finger.) The staff organised a paramedic to collect me from the hotel and take me to a clinic for minor surgery and then back to the hotel. It was all done quickly and efficiently and they made sure I was okay. We really loved our stay.

Nothing, everything was fabulous. Maybe one small drawback, you need a car to get the best experience. Fortunately we had one.

The property was really tastefully landscaped with lots of tropical vegetation. The swimming pool was beautifully maintained and a great place to relax The rooms were spotlessly clean, very spacious and with a high level of facilities. A comfortable sofa, good TV, and well equipped kitchen . Very comfortable bed and decent bathroom. Good air conditioning. Breakfasts were healthy and good quality. The staff working in the dining area and the cleaning staff were very friendly. Scooter hire is available with good quality scooters. Although not on the beach, they can be reached on foot in about 10/15 minutes - much less on a scooter. Overall this was a totally relaxing and high quality hotel.

Draw your own conclusions from this conversation:- Hotel: "I'm afraid the credit card system has broken and you will need to pay cash" Me: " But I arranged to pay by credit card and don't have the cash on me" Hotel : " It's ok - you can pay me cash tomorrow if you like" Me : " If I take out cash, then the coat for me will increase by 3%" Hotel " But if you pay me by credit card, it will cost me 3%". Summary: I suggest you turn up with plenty of cash and add 3% to your budget.

Beautiful relaxing green oasis

It is a beautiful green oasis close to beaches. There are only a few bungalows, so the resort feels very private. It has a nice pool. The staff is very nice and helpful. We really loved their smoothie bowl for breakfast. They also serve lunch there and it is in walking distance to other restaurants along the road. Overall the place is great and very relaxing. I would highly recommend it.

It is located next to the main road, so when sitting outside you can hear cars and motorbikes.

We had the perfect family villa with 2 rooms, a beautiful balcony at the pond and a view with a good deal of privacy which is one of the most important things for us. You couldn't ask for a better location for the resort because it is close to the Beautiful Beach, 7 Eleven (about 10 min walk) and has great restaurants close by but it's a not to busy part of the main street which makes it perfect. Also there was a once a week market couple of minutes away, as well as a big market in a school that seems to happen regularly. I ordered the Massaman Curry with bread twice because it was so awesome. The sweet potatoes in it really makes it special. We enjoyed our evenings watching movies or series, so it was convenient to have Netflix on the TV. All in all the staff was very friendly and to round up, we had a great time!

Spotlessly clean accommodation 5 minutes walk from Beautiful beach which lived up to its name. The Villa we stayed in was super comfortable with great wi fi, a good shower, excellent air con and plenty of space to relax. Great breakfast including “proper” coffee available. Nice size pool and beautiful gardens. The owner is on hand to ensure your stay exceeds expectations. I would fully recommend.

It was obvious that the owner and staff take a personal interest in all aspect of the "resort".

The attention paid to all aspects of the experience. Wifi was fast and consistent, air conditioning had lots of excess capacity, and the restaurant made cakes and muffins from scratch that were all bakery quality. There is no promotion of the restaurant on site but the food is some of the best we had - go around to the back seating area; it is more comfortable and you can watch the fish in the pond.

Warning: once you arrive you don’t want to leave!!

It’s like a visit to your favorite aunt you’ve haven’t seen since child times. It feels familiar, warm and so extremely comfortable that it’s hard to find any downsides. The owner is besides knowledgeable very sweet and funny and the rest of the staff is amazing! The location is perfect in between two beautiful beaches and after a day in the sands the pool is refreshingly welcome.

Excellent location, quiet, calm surrounding in beautiful gardens. Pool lovely though we mostly spent our days at the beach 5-10 min easy walk. Villas super clean, very comfortable, good air con in bedroom. Staff so friendly. Try the Smoothie bowl for breakfast - outstanding! No alcohol served as the owner is Muslim but welcome to buy beers from local shop and have in your villa or terrace. Worked perfectly for us and beach bars all serve beers and food. Laundry service (by kilo) great. Scooter rental very reasonable compared to other places nearby and much better standard of bike. Will revisit again as nothing to complain about, all was excellent, thank you Ya and team 😊

Nothing major but would be nice to have more comfortable seating on terrace (larger villas do have). We had a beautiful table and chairs (good for dining, playing board games, not so good for relaxing on terrace). But really not a complaint, maybe a suggestion for the future.

Arthaya is one of the best places we've ever been! Big, comfortable houses, incredibly clean with all you need inside. The whole area is like a paradise, a lot of palm trees, banana trees, flowers and other plants, everything is green and so beautiful! An owner - Ya is an angel, when I've had an accident she took me to the hospital (great hospital in the north) by her own car, and she was waiting in the hospital until I was ready to leave it. She is an awesome person! The whole stuff there is so nice and helpful with any requests and inquiries we had. This place has kind of vibe, you can feel comfortable and relaxed from the first minute. It's located few minutes by walk to beautiful beach (which is my favorite beach on the island), Wi-Fi is perfect, around 100Mb/s! The restaurant serves delicious food, they bake their own cakes and even bread which is incredible! It was so hard to leave this place after 1 month spend in paradise with these awesome people, but I'm sure we'll be back!

I enjoyed my stay totally. Everything was thought about, clean, calm. The owner is very welcoming and very professional. As I am solo traveler, she offered to show me around. At the end we formed nice friendship. I would recommend this place to everyone who wants to have a holiday without worries. P.s. the coffee is amazing, true story 😃 as I found out, the owner makes sure that the coffee beans are always very fresh.

Ya the owner was great communicating from the moment we booked. She sorted out the speed boat from Phuket to Koh Lanta which helped massively. We were greeted by Ya and the staff and they made us feel so welcome, we felt like we were friends. Breakfast was included and very good with a choice of options. I would highly recommend staying here.

Arthaya Villas - luxury in paradise

From the moment we booked the team at Arthaya Villas helped us, patiently answering our many questions, as we had never visited Koh Lanta before. Ya (Owner/Manager) arranged very reasonable transport from Krabi airport, a lovely friendly driver. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome with a refreshing coconut water (yum), we had a guide of the beautiful boutique resort, with fish ponds and the most exquisite gardens, the swimming pool is a delight, super clean and so refreshing after a long day of sightseeing. Our room (no 7) was large with plenty of storage, a sofa for relaxing and the MOST comfortable bed I have ever slept in. We had a large fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, large bathroom and the whole place was spotless. Ya helped us with hiring a vehicle, even dropping my husband off to the hire shop - nothing was too much trouble for the team at Arthaya Villas. I also had all my laundry done whist staying and Ya kindly ironed everything for me also! We ate with Ya and the team most nights and the food was of a very high quality. And the coffee and cake from the coffee shop attached to the villas was the best I have tasted on the whole island. We have even driven back since we left to stop for coffee.... it really is that good!!! My husband and I were made to feel very special for the duration of our stay, more like part of Ya's family than guests. I celebrated my birthday whilst staying at Arthaya Villas, and Ya gifted me the most beautiful broach, something that I will treasure for ever, this really touched me, so thoughtful and kind. I will be back in the future, I would not stay anywhere else on the island, it was quite literally paradise.
