We decided to move on as there were no other huts available. The owner kindly refunded some of our costs.

We booked 2 bungalows, the cheapest were the only ones available when we booked. They were just off the beach which was lovely with plenty of bars to choose from and massage options.

One of the bungalows backed onto the car park and motorbikes were parked outside it. People were coming and going all night and the fumes were coming into the hut. The huts were quite crammed in.

Excellent stay! Loved everything about it. Clean room, amazing location right at Relax Beach, friendly staff! Loved Relax beach and all the bars/restaurants there, very small but worth going to even if you don’t stay here! Would definitely stay here again/recommend it to anyone coming to Ko Lanta!

Awful, unpleasant, bed bug-ridden stay - would NOT recommend!

The room was too hot and not displayed at all like in the pictures online. Things were falling apart and there were ants everywhere. Woke up on the last night with bed bug bites all around my feet. It had been impossible to rest in the room because of the humidity and temperature during the day and night, it was cooler to be outside in the sun. Only two plugs so none to add extra facilities to cool down. The entirety of the interior structure was built cheaply and unstable. We couldn’t sleep throughout the all staying because of this. We asked to change rooms and since there were none available, they gave us an extra fan, which didn’t help at all. We asked to get a partial refund since it was very unpleasant (such a staying should not be listed) and the staff played around our request and did not recognise our trouble at all.

right by the beach, very peaceful and spacious, the Bungalows have a little veranda with a hammock. They also rent out scooters for a reasonable price.

when I arrived, there was not only a colony of ants setting their kingdom in the bathroom but also cockroaches crawling around. in the night I also found one in my bed. when I asked for a different room the next morning the owner insisted that it’s normal with no a/c and suggested to change to another room but pay more or to spray my room. I could change in the end and the other room was fine but still I do not think that is something I should have to argue about.

A simple hidden gem with beautiful people

Definitely good value for the money. If you like a simple life, it is definitely worth it. The rooms are basic and comfortable. There are 3 types of accommodation so make sure you book your needed type. We stayed in a basic air-conditioned bungalow that had its own bathroom and shower, which was very convenient. Wai and family organised us tours continuously and our transport. We hired motorbikes from there too at a cheap rate. It is central to everything including a stumble distance to restaurants, bars, 7-11 etc. Great vego food near by if you are that way inclined. I loved it.

Amazing location right on the beach where the prettiest sunsets ever are Lots of restaurants near but a bike is probably necessary but the accommodation has them for cheap Lovely staff who were very helpful A hammock which was great to relax in

The beds are really really uncomfy, normally it doesn't bother me but it was hard to sleep Room gets really hot too but they do provide a powerful fan Lots of cracks so many insects get in Overall really good value for money, it reflects in the price

Perfect room near the beach

Great bungalow on the beach, had an electric kettle, and received water and coffee each day. Perfect for relaxing by the beach even on your very own hammock. Much more than I expected considering the cheap price! Additionaly, the staff is lovely and helps with everything like booking tours or bikes, at a great price and always with a smile. Highly recommended!

Room is a bit basic, but absolutely fine at the price point. no hot water, though you probably won't miss it.

We had an incredibly lovely stay at Andaman Bay Bungalows! Planned on staying 5 nights but ended up staying 11 and could have stayed even more! Cozy, clean private basic budget bungalow had everything we needed to be more than comfortable. All the people who work here are so kind and the beautiful beach is just a few seconds walk away. Looking forward to coming back some day. Thank you for everything! :-)

Perfect for solo travellers

I stayed in bungalow A10 (budget bungalow). Location is great. My bungalow was 15 seconds walk from the beach. I could hear the roaring of the ocean when falling asleep. I loved sitting on my hammock to read, sip coffee and relax. The staff is simply lovely. So attentive and kind. I was supposed to stay 1 night, ended up staying 10! If you're looking for a quiet spot where to eat, swim and relax, this is the place for you! Plus the beach is basically private and offers great sunset views!

The facilities are basic, but everything works just fine! Considering the price and the fact that it is a budget bungalow, it was a great value!

This is budget accommodation at its absolute best. Bungalows are a short walk to the beach, the rooms are clean and the bed is very comfy. Best of all, our hosts were among the friendliest and honest people we have met.

The area of Koh Lanta New Andaman is in has perhaps been hit pretty hard by the tourist downturn. Because of this, it's pretty quiet around the bungalows. But with a scooter (very cheap from New Andaman), you have really easy access to the rest of the island, so this shouldn't be an issue for anyone.

The bungalows were very nice and well equipped (there is a water heater and a small fridge). You can choose between a bungalow with a fan or ac+fan. The family was really nice and helpful. They have a motorbike rental and laundry service and they can help you with every tour (for example to Koh Rok). We would come back at anytime!

Excellent WiFi! I taught 4-5 online classes a day, without any problems. It's a 1 minute walk to a really nice a quiet beach. The owners are super lovely and helpful local family. Highly recommended!
