Friendly staff. Nice plants around the cabin.

The photos online do not reflect the reality. The property is very over priced. You are paying hotel prices without the service. Not all the lights worked in our room. There is no bedside lights. The shower head was broken. It feels unfinished in the room, like they give up to save money. We felt disappointed. There is no hotel atmosphere, the check in is behind a smoothie stall. Not worth the money, will get much better for the same price elsewhere.

Lanta is a big island. Depends on your needs. We found this place to be satisfying.

A perfect stay in Koh Lanta

Baan Check in provides pick up from the pier, they were waiting for us when we arrived and drove us to the hotel. Everyone who works here is so nice and very friendly. The check in process was quick and they showed us to our room. The rooms are nice, spacious, very clean, and comfortable beds. The wifi was great, never had problems with hot water, and ac and fans are in the room. Baan Check in also has motor bikes for rent so we rented one for 48 hours, very good price and made for getting around the island very easily. They also provide day trips and activities around Koh Lanta that you can book here which makes it convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommended it. We had a great stay!

Comfortable, value for money stay in Koh Lanta

The rooms are spacious. Air conditioning, fan, and small ref are in very good condition. Coffee and water are provided each day. Clean bed sheets and towels are provided. Baan Check-In has a very good location. The resort is family-owned and run by the family. The owner Bang-on is very nice, he offered to take us around and took us to beach spots and bays we would have otherwise we wouldn't have found out about.

The property can improve by having the reception manned most of the time.

Family run business - lovely couple/family who were absolutely brilliant and helpful. You can directly book washing/scooters, anything with them. Very smiley :) (7/11 across the road which is a god send!)

Good location, wifi OK, seven eleven, restaurants and beach are only at 1 to 3 minutes walk. Outside of the prayer in the morning it's not noisy at all, the proximity to the road is not an issue.

Cleaning was very "light".. The bedsheat was clean though. The owner is too pushy to sell trips, taxi and bike, she wants to know all your plans and her prices are not cheap, it made me feel very uncomfortable :/

Lovely clean spacious bungalows with great wifi connection. Just a short walk to the beach and right next to a 7-elevern an cheap restaurant with really good food. The family who runs Baan check in is amazing and really helpful with everything. We can really recommend this place!

Amazing stay- felt like home

we loved everything about our stay here. The staff were so friendly and warm. The property has a great atmosphere and felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again if back on Lanta. Great value, great location and great facilities. Laundry came back immaculate. We rented a bike for a great price and the food in the restaurant is also great. The room is really well set up and has everything you might need.

A gorgeous, warm & friendly place

The loveliest, spacious huts smelling of warm wood. A big comfy bed & perfect bathroom facilities. The staff are super friendly & responded to all our needs - even bringing us fruit on day 1. Koh Lanta is a tranquil, beautiful island full of friendly, generous locals and I would recommend this being your base. Amazing value for money.

The Wi-Fi in the huts is pretty bad, which is a shame as it’s really good at the front of the properties!

The staff were so friendly and helpful and booked up a moped to go around in. The room was great and very good value for money.

Only downfall was a cockerel waking us up every morning without fail multiple times which was such a shame as the rest of it was great.

The staff was very nice and helpful - organising transfers for fair price etc. Nice and clean accomodation compared to the price. They also serve good food.

There were ants in the room. The beach near the hotel is not the prettiest, it's better to walk/ride to other beaches on Lanta. If you want to rent a scooter, you need to give your passport as a deposit - not very safe option for you.

Exceptional

We loved everything about our stay, we even extended it. The bungalows are clean, new and well furnished. The grounds are beautiful, the location is excellent. Staff is helpful, there is a restaurant as well. Value for the money is good. I would not hesitate to come back.
