Breakfast was great, Restaurant was good. Live bank entertainment was good. Location was pretty good, not on the beach but not far. The closest beach was not good, you had to walk a ways to get to the good part of Long Beach.
The bungalow was a little rough, rougher than expected. But it was pretty tight but it creaked and moved when you walked.
The beds were terrible, way too hard. And the roosters started at 4 am and did not stop until sunrise. There were lots of them all around our bungalows. Hard to get a good sleep.

The surroundings were pretty, set in the nature. And I liked the balcony.
Two thai girls working there were nice, the rest wouldn't even say hello. Breakfast was mediocre, very basic. The room was okay, clean and spacious but bathroom would benefit from modernisation and there was loads of ants. Toilet seems to work only sometimes (seemed to me if other rooms were taking showers the toilet wouldn't flush). The accommodation would be a great at much lower price point. For what they are charging I would expect a way better quality in Thailand.

The bungalows were basic but ideal
We booked a studio in error. Oscar upgraded us to a bungalow which was far better.

Quiet, relaxed eco-style setting surrounded by greenery. The bungalows were simple but comfortable, the grounds were peaceful, and the staff were friendly and helpful without hovering. It’s a good place to unplug and slow down.
Nothing major. The location is quiet and a bit removed, which suited us, but it’s best appreciated if you’re comfortable having your own transport. Being an eco-style property, you’re close to nature, which was part of the charm for us.

Great bungalows. Lovely family run place. Great staff the bungalows are in a beautiful location
Traffic noise around the pool you literally in the side on the national highway

Good location and access the beach. Resort is very natural looking which is different to what i am used to but i really enjoyed staying somewhere different. The resort was tidy and beds were very comfortable. Check in/out process was very quick and easy. We had an air con room which i would recommend and the balcony area is very night to relax in with a nice view of the walkway and the other rooms.
The first night we had no electricity and running water for around 6 hours shortly after check in. We did not get notified this was going to happen but was told that it was being worked on and then it came back in the late evening.
We booked a boat trip with the reception when we checked in as they recommended and specifically asked them to confirm there is availability in which she said yes. The next day we got up very early and had breakfast and got ready and packed for the excursion just to be told 20 mins before pick up that it was fully booked. This was really frustrating as we were told that there was availability and there was plenty of time to notify us the day before that it was fully booked not 20 mins before the excursion. We booked elsewhere for the next day and had no issues.
Breakfast was very limited so we chose to go elsewhere the following days.

These are very rustic cottages that are peaceful
Friendly staff and easy 5 min walk to the beach each is gorgeous
The bed was a bit hard and the cottages were a little dated but it didn't spoil our stay.

Lovely property, with pool.
Very good breakfast

The staff is great and quick to answer.
Breakfast has nice homemade bread.
Quite a disappointment. The bungalows are old and poorly maintained. While the room itself was clean, everything is outdated and gives an overall dirty impression. The shower in particular felt very unhygienic, and the old sofa had multiple stains.
The beach is close, but it is quite stony in front of the hotel, so some walking is required to find a better spot.
The worst part is the noise at night. The frogs are unbearably loud. I noticed in replies to other complaints on Booking that the hotel mentions they cannot get rid of them, which is understandable. However, if you value a good night’s sleep, I would strongly recommend choosing another place.

Awesome place to stay, unique experience and nice individual lodgings.
There are some bugs (to be expected) which was a tiny bit annoying but really no issues beyond that small and expected thing :)

I absolutely loved it here, my partner less so as he likes action, but that’s not Koh Lanta .
The bungalows exceed the photos, the bedding is hotel quality and a comfortable bed at last in Thailand !
The towels were fluffy and smelt divine !!
Breakfast was great, my partner happy to see bacon.
Owners are really friendly and helpful.
We could only sadly stay for two nights but would have loved to stay for more .
Air con was essential .. as we had had a lot of rain, very loud frogs, but it added to the charm.
And I didn’t get bitten once !!!
It was a bit at the end of the beach for our liking but we love a walk along the beach

pool was very deep, which made it tricky for small kids

Central location and lots of restaurants nearby, tuk tuks available nearby, beach is a quick walk and of course Daisy the dog was the highlight! Very friendly cats as well, and enjoyed waking up to the chooks and roosters. Pool was very nice and refreshing and pizza was lovely!
Rooms get a bit warm during the day, shower pressure wasn’t great either but we understand this is an eco resort so that’s to be expected.

Great breakfast with homemade bread. Complimentary teas, and cold water on tap is a bonus. Big bathroom.
View not great.

The breakfast was very simple but pleasant. They never laid out lots that sat for ages, but instead they freshly topped up as needed. The 24 hr coffee and cool water is a nice touch.
The staff are lovely and very helpful. There is also lots of information on the reception walls about local restaurants, beaches, bars etc with little descriptions as a guide. I arrived early and they checked me in and let me have a later checkout as my room was not needed straight away.
My room was a decent size and very comfortable. I had air con and a fan.
The location is great overall. It is within a minute of a small beach that is very rocky at low tide. I liked that as it was very quiet. If you walk 5 mins in either direction along a road, you hit other beaches that have better access at low tide. All three beaches have small bars/restaurants that are not blaring out music.
Nothing.

Very cute hotel with lots of surrounding greenery and private bungalows. Very close to the beach without having to pay the premium of a beachfront hotel. It is walking distance to multiple swimming spots and beachside restaurants. It is excellent value for money, definitely the cheapest place we stayed in Thailand!
The bathroom was a bit basic and the bungalow got quite warm. The fans worked quite well but if you struggle with heat we would recommend getting the room with air conditioning.

The staff makes this place amazing. They are friendly, helpful, available. The location is very near the beach, although for a nicer one, you need to walk on the rocks for a few hundred metres. Or you can walk on the main road, but that's unpleasant as there as no sidewalks. The Mook Lanta is linked with Lanta Lily resort and restaurant so you can use the pool, pool bar (great boardgames) and the restaurant there.
The breakfast is fresh, homemade bread, coffee and hot water always available. The cold water for refills is both at the reception and next to the pool, that's a huge plus.
The roosters. There are MANY and they are loud. Every morning they start at 5:30am and go on ever since.
The pool, as great as it is, has the stairs made anti-slippery but to the point they are downright sharp and scratchy.
We stayed for 2 weeks+ in the fan cabin, it was very pleasant but we lacked storage. There is nowhere to put your things. Two small bedside tables (with hollow shelves so your small things fall through) and one (equally hollow) hanging shelf with a few hangers. Staying just a few nights, this would not be an issue, but for longer stays, it is.
The breakfast was lovely, they make homemade bread, but there is no variety. If you stay longer, it wears off. Again, if you stay just a few days, the breakfast is great.
Oh and the taxis. Booked through the hotel, they are much more expensive than they need to be. The private taxi from the airport was 2500baht when booked through the hotel, on the way back we booked directly and it was only 1800,incl.ferries. The local Krabi taxi driver also told us that the taxi from the airport should cost no more than 2000. We also booked a trip to Koh Lanta National park, the asking price was 1700, eventually lowered to 1500 bht. The private taxi we took later to the airport told us that the going price should be around 1200, incl.wait time. So yeah, get you taxis elsewhere :-)

Amazing little cottages, with lovely balconies. Nice decor and great shower. Owner and staff were great, super helpful. Booked our transfer to airport and easily extended our stay
Beds were a bit hard but to be expected in Thailand

Small cute bungalows with friendly staff
No hairdryer. The floor in the shower is very sharp and not comfortable to stay on it. Rooster will wake you up at 5 am, better put earplugs before sleep. Breakfast is very poor. No proper beach near the hotel, just rocks. Need to walk approx 10 min to enjoy the white sandy beach. It’s ok for 1-2 nights

The vibe of the resort is chill and welcoming. I liked having my own separate wooden bungalow with no immediate neighbours. The room was spacious, pretty and clean, the pressure was good in the walk-in shower and the bed was comfortable with plenty pillows. I had the aircon on the entire time and I’m glad I booked the room with aircon - would have struggled to sleep otherwise. There’s a cute three legged dog, numerous cats and chickens. I didn’t have a problem with the roosters and slept in late most mornings! The owner and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The guest booklet in the room had a lot of useful info. Every one of the local recommendations was a success. I booked two day trips at reception and had a wonderful time: did not see other boats for the entire day while on the kayaking trip and the snorkelling locations were beautiful without an overcrowded touristy feeling. The location of the resort is ideal to get around on the island and I tried out several beaches (I agree that Relax Bay is great). Due to the rustic feel of the resort I was worried about being overrun with mosquitoes but had no such problems. The water dispenser at reception is fantastic and I did not buy one plastic bottle the entire week. A couple of times the power went out briefly, but I think it all adds to the charm (started laughing with the bungalow neighbour because she was waiting with conditioner in her hair). Had a great stay overall, many thanks to Oscar and the team.
Could have a couple more types of fruit at breakfast but that’s just me nitpicking.

The staff are nice and the are is kept really clean - the water and coffee on tap is also a bonus
We stayed for three nights and our room was only cleaned once - which isn’t great when you don’t have a lid for the toilet paper bin. The worst though are the cockerels, they wake you up at 6am and don’t stop until 8am - why have so many?? The beds are also super hard and the small rooms with fan leave no room to even open your suitcase

Lovely staff. Standard bungalows.
Not on the beach, quite a walk. Mozzies terrible (wet season), bungalows are on a swamp. Expensive. Average plain breakfast. Wifi doesn’t extend to rooms. Cats scratched the kids multiple times.

Really cute bungalows in a quiet location. Staff were so friendly. In the morning they prepared a breakfast with eggs and fruit. Free coffee and the free water during the day was such a nice touch. they also had recycling bins for bottles which was good to see. Hammock was so nice to relax in and overall just felt like a nice place to be
It’s advertised as beachfront and while it is close to a small beach on the far end of long beach it’s actually not quite Phra ae beach so each day we walked to it (just around the corner from 711). We got a bungalow with just a fan because I needed a break from AC however, it was abit hot and stuffy in the room. The pool is up the hill by the restaurant and warm so not really useable. Also for some reason Ko Lanta was expensive even in low season (felt deserted yet overpriced)

Oscar and his team are fabulous. You get great Information about the island and surrounding area. The resort is in a great spot and close to long beach. The resort owns a pool with fun activities like the pub trivia on Wednesday. You can meet lots of locals and travelers there.
I would recommend to book the aircon rooms they are gorgeous and the breakfast with homemade bread and fresh fruits is delicious.

Great, helpful staff. the house we had was perfect for a family of four (one double and one twin room). great pool and only minutes from the beach too. whole place has a lovely vibe.
no real fresh coffee at breakfast (which was otherwise excellent!) - just instant…

This is a lovely place to stay. The bungalows are clean and comfortable and the staff and managers friendly and always happy to help you have the best stay possible....
If you happen to have anything that is troubling you about your stay....ask and they will sort it for you...
It's close to the beach with a very nice beach bar within 5 mins walk and plenty other good places close by.
The use of Lilly Lantas pool was a bonus too especially if you have young children...
Just great
Thank you 🙏
The beds are Thai style hard......this is normal for most places in Thailand and for some absolutely fine, but its not a problem here....just ask for a mattress topper it made all the difference..
(Thankyou for that)

They had free coffee and tea all day every day. They assisted with scooter rentals with no issues as well as providing info to great beaches on the south of the island and restaurants in the area. Included breakfast was great!
Bungalows are a bit rustic. We upgraded to an air con room upon arrival as the fan room was more rustic.
