Nice hotel but a little pricy for what it is

Liked the pool and it was on the beach, liked our hotel room which had an outside shower and a big bathroom with a heated shower.

I think it was a bit expensive for what it was. The front door can only be shut from the inside so if your on the balcony the door slams constantly

Nice beach and a good outlet of restaurants for food and that is all.

I booked a bungalow for myself and a friend. We booked a delux/ superia bungalow, however, the bungalow was basic. No tea, coffee in the bungalow. No hairdryer, and just basic and old. Not what I thought I was booking looking at the photos. Would not recommend.

Not good value for money for the Deluxe Bungalow

The location is great!

I stayed in the “deluxe bungalow with sea view”. The pictures they have on the website are outdated, the bush in front of the room is big now and covers almost all the sea view. I also booked this room thinking that it was going to be quiet, wroooong. The room is literally next to the bar of the neighbor hotel so you have music until very late so not at all quiet. Definitely not good value for the money. The regular bungalows are way better and more quiet.

Stayed at a Beachfront room and it was really big and comfortable but expect at least 100m walk to the beach itself. The resort is centrally located.

Quite a few things to be prapared for 1) Nobody was a available to assist with luggage when we had quite a few to take to our room, it's also not an easy walk to the rooms if you have a number of belongings. 2) The in house restaurant closes at 5PM and it was raining during our entire stay so it was difficult to find another place to eat dinner, prepare ahead.

Wonderful beach bungalows on beautiful, sandy beach!

Nice 3-star property on the beach, with comfortable, roomy bungalows, a swimming pool, and bar/restaurant. Great location and polite, helpful staff.

Nothing specific to this property alone, but plumbing and water quality in the region is questionable. Good to be aware.

Stay was okay

Well located on the island. Hotel is right next to the beach and the pool area and bar were nice. Convenient to have your breakfast early if planned trips. Easy to rent a car from a company who work with the hotel and deliver it to you very quickly. Most of the staff were friendly. Room was basic but reflected in the price.

The hotel is located next to a concrete platform built on the beach which ruined the view of the beach and sea. We tried to drop off laundry and were told to come back in the morning because it could be done in the morning and returned the same day, this was not the case and not ready until the next day. There was confusion when we tried to book a boat and were told the ferry was available, and then that it wasn’t running. Two other guests booked a boat with the hotel and then at the last minute in the transfer van were told they didn’t have a place on the boat. When returning the hire car there was confusion about who had my passport which was not very reassuring. Room had lots of ants and a worm on the bed. Bathroom only separated from the room by a shower curtain which covered half of the doorway.

Good stay

Liked the location on the beach. Massage was very good on the beach. Receptionist lady was very good. Any issues they sorted out and helped with travel arrangements etc. fire show up the beach on every few days which was a must see a ten min walk up the beach to get to it. The pool was good. We had superior bungerlow overlooking pool and beach and was good but I would upgrade to deluxe next stay. Staff was good and hotel good for a few nights, nice and quiet, the sunsets are amazing. Had the pool to ourselves most days.

Beds were hard but the reception provided a matteress topper which was much better. The bathroom was dated but did the job. The location is beautiful although slightly out the way as it’s at the bottom of the beach so better for quiet stays but lots of restaurants and bars around on main road. A lot of ants on the property and on the balcony. Didn’t provide tea coffee etc but a mini mart outside property so no issue.

A very relaxing stay with good staff hosting me.

The villa was facing the sea where you can sit at the balcony and enjoy the sea breeze in the evening. You can see the sun rise and sun set at the resort. The beach is just in front of the resort.

Ko Lanta is a charming island and Gooddays has everything you need for a memorable stay

We chose to be in Ko Lanta in low season as we were looking for a quiet get away. This sweet spot did not disappoint. Gooddays remains open throughout the year, unlike many other resorts on the island, who choose to close their doors in quiet season. This is an establishment that values preservation and it might not be flashy and new, but it is clean, organized, comfortable and well-maintained. The location is excellent with a great beach and is located in good proximity to all the tourist attractions. The friendly staff were quick to help us with random requests like a bbq and shopping info. The swimming pool needs a special mention, as it is well maintained and the water is always clean.

The water pressure in the shower could have been better, but not the worst we’ve experienced. It’s hard to fault. It was exciting seeing this establishments start preparing for the season. I think it’s a very different vibe in high season.

Good for few days

Next to the beach and many restaurants in the area, it they all sell the same food.

When checking out we had to wait 20 minutes before staaf came just to told us just to leave the key. One staff was cleaning the beach( very good) but she didn’t came over even though she saw us at the reception

As good as it gets

This is as good as it gets: all the luxury at low key and affordable. The a/c bungalow spacious and clean, large comfy bed. Perfectly landscaped and manicured garden, right at the beach. Great swimming pool. Hosts super friendly and helpful in all regards. The rubbish on site is separated for recycling, they collect the debris and rubbish from the beach every morning, and best of all: refill glass bottles for your daily drinking water, no plastic waste! If you want it, rooms are made up daily with fresh linen and towels. The cleaning crew is very little intrusive and always with a smile.

Not staying long enough. Due to the monsoon season (July), the beach was often of no use. High dumper waves, murky water and large rocks under the surf; lots of debris and rubbish in the water and on the beach. Less rocks across the creek and further north along Long Beach, waves the same.

Relax next to the ocean

AC in our room malfunctioned and the staff moved us into another room without hesitation and refunded the difference. Peaceful location right next to the sea. Scooter rent was THB 200, without deposit. Nice pool. Very good breakfast available at cafe across the street.

Paradise in every way!

Amazingly kind and cheerful hosts. Helpful staff. Immaculately clean. Stunning view of the sea through the garden from Room 102. A sitting porch and French doors right out into garden just a few steps from the pool and beach. Also made several kitty friends. This place is paradise.

Everything was perfect. WiFi was weak at times but honestly, who cares?! Paradise abounds.

Fabulous

I loved everything about it. Got a nice pool and beach is only 2 seconds way. Lovely stuff specially the maintenance/cleaning ladies. Food is good a bit pricy but good food at the restaurant. Very good location and probably the nicest beach in lanta. Some good restaurants nearby. May’s kitchen only 3 min walk. Best Thai food. Honestly absolutely loved it. Came for 3 nights but ended up staying for almost two weeks

The elephants are in an exhausted state, I think it is terrible to do this in the 21st century and take money for it. Dear tourists of Thailand, please do not pay money for exploitation when there is no demand - there will be no exploitation. If you want to meet an elephant, offer to buy this amount of fruit and simply feed the animal, but do not pay for it.

Excellent location. Good hotel for what you pay but don’t expect hustle and bustle or luxury

Fantastic location on the beach and close to restaurants and bars. You can watch the sea and the sunset from the pool which is lovely. Rooms are spacious. Mattress was far more comfortable than a lot of places.

I don’t know they’re talking about when they say what facilities are offered on here but it was a ghost town. The hotel is in some real need of a freshen up, the rooms are tired and the bathrooms are dated. The swimming pool was pretty gross, slightly green in colour and murky, could hardly see your feet. In need of a real clean.

Amazing beach location

Excellent location on the beach front with a lovely quiet pool in front of the sea with leafy gardens to the bungalows. The beach is lovely and peaceful but there's some good bars and restaurants close by within 2 minutes walk. The bungalows and bathrooms are very spacious and fairly modern. All basic essentials like towels, water, fridge and air con were provided. We were allowed early check in which was great.

Unfortunately we had a group of noisy neighbours who sat on their balcony from 7am until midnight playing music and being loud. The resort was mostly empty so I'm not sure why we were placed in a bungalow between a group of 6 friends. We didn't have much privacy or peace which was the main reason we chose the resort. We had to change rooms which was an inconvenience but we appreciated that we could move. There was also hundreds of ants in our first room which needed addressing.

pool was quiet and right next to beach-very relaxing. location - on sea front and lots of near by restaurants. very pretty gardens surrounding bungalows.

reception staff were not welcoming at all, so much so that we avoided eating in the main area. Lots of ants in the bathroom too.

Very good

After weeks of buying water it gets tedious so complimentary water is appreciated and makes life easier! Property is on a large grass area on a large beach with good lounge chairs and the beach area is quieter compared to further north up Long Beach. Comfy bed. Location is close to rent scooters (mini mart next to Italian restaurant), restaurants and a few bars (go to Joker Bar), just left of the entrance. I'd stay here again. The pool is a hot bath in April so didn't use it as much as I usually use pools. Good quality and beautiful views at a cafe at the end of beach if you get a craving for western food.

The beach isn't amazing if you've seen other Thai beaches or are Australian. It's full of rocks which are just annoying if you swim at low tide. It's also a wave beach which I can see at home. More comfortable chairs on the patio would make the room more comfy.
