It was okay

The property has a great location. Close to the beach or restaurants. Bungalow was clean. I don't mind mosquitoes or ants... but having cockroaches in our room and see how one of them is running on our bed over our stuff was a bit too much. I wouldn't stay here again because I just didn't feel well there. Always looking into corners...

Great value for money

Very friendly staff. Good value for money. Great breakfast. Good location, very close to the main road with restaurants etc and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Good basic accommodation for a good price.

It was a little tired around the edges. Nothing to put me off staying again but it could benefit from a little tlc.

Lovely basic accommodation with charming staff a short walk to a stunning beach.

Lovely staff , very clean . Large bathroom good bed. Nice other guests . Breakfast was generous and good. Beach is awesome, but a fair walk if you're not super mobile! 200 metres? More like 300! Lots of services at the road a bit hard to find because it's little tell people you want Ling beach chalets next door they know where that is.

Wasn't on the beach the walk was a bit unpleasant because of the garbage around. It's a bit noisy by the blanco hostel.

The location i.e. the beach. The property i.e. the palm/coconut trees; pools; the sounds of water falling in the pool giving an impression of a waterfall, the dog etc etc). The restaurant/ the food. Value for the money.

I wish I had more time to stay here. I wish I had stayed here the first time I visited the Koh Lanta, a week before.

Great stay

Great stay here, staff are so lovely always a smile on their face. Room was nice bed was comfortable and had its own walkway to the beach. Located in a great place for quick drives to many beaches. The breakfast was also amazing.

Enjoyed our stay!

Nice accomodation in Long Beach area, walking distance to the beach. Friendly staff. Breakfast included with brewed coffee instead of instant, that is a big plus for me! Great atmosphere. Clean and comfortable. We travel with our reusable bottles so it was great it had a water filling station instead of providing plastic bottled water like most places. Enjoyed our stay!

The bungalow was basic, with a double bed that felt small for 2 people.

Paradise, recommended!

I can't stop raving about this place! The best thing is the awesome staff and owner, dog and cat. Roomy bungalow (we had one of the four bigger bungalows), good cleaning, very good breakfast, nice pool ,close to the beach and many restaurants. A slightly bigger bed (it is queen size so 140 cm) would have been nice, but because everything else about the place is so perfect I can't really complain about that.

Relaxing bungalows close to the beach

The owner was very welcoming, 5 min walk to the beautiful sandy beach. The bungalow was relaxing and the shower with good pressure. Breakfast was nice with decent coffee.

Home away from home

The staff of Papillon was super welcoming. We felt right at home from the start. The bungalows are nicely spread on the property making it feel spacious and calm. The kids loved breakfast time as they got to choose their own breakfast package, which includes a variety of toast and eggs, yoghurt and fruit to pancakes. The staff really makes an effort to get to know you and your preferences and accommodate you accordingly. They offer reusable water bottles which you can fill up anytime you want. Pool towels for either pool or beach. Always helpful in giving tips on where to go on the island and always there to just have a chat. To us it felt like a home away from home, right next to the beach and surround by nice restaurants

Ok stay

Friendly staff and nice bungalow.

The grounds between the bungalows seemed quite bare without many plants or grass. Don’t expect a lush tropical garden. We arrived the 24. December but were not able to have dinner at their restaurant as this was for only outside guests. It is ok to book a private party - they need to earn their money somewhere - however it would have been nice with a notice about this so we could plan ahead.

Lovely stay

The staff, they made the stay so lovely. The chap (don't know how to spell his name sorry) and his family are amazing, He goes above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. He is superb, and all staff were friendly and helpful. He also helped arrange trips and transfers ...nothing was too much trouble...Wonderful man The breakfast is excellent, we also ate there at night and were very happy with the food. Location is fab, few minutes walk to the beach and plenty of shops, restaurants close by. Rooms are ok, not luxury but are clean and comfortable Quiet location and surroundings are fabulous I would highly recommend Papillon Bungalows for a beautiful escape to this beautiful island

I would come back.

the property is clean and well maintained, the people are very kind and helpful and breakfast is adequate. the walk to the beach is a little adventurous, about 5-8 min on a simple path with some rubbish near the beach. nothing to do with the property as such who are very eco conscious, fresh water always available. you can also walk through the hotel next door. the beach and the water are beautiful. the main road is also not far to catch a Tuktuk to the pier or the supermarket.

a very noisy croaky cockerel in the neighbourhood, who likes to make himself known early mornings.

Wenn Lärm als nicht störend empfunden wird, eine nette Anlage.

Die Anlage ist klein, übersichtlich und sauber, wirkt nur manchmal ein wenig “unfertig”. Kann daran liegen, dass sie noch nicht so alt ist, das weiß ich nicht. Im Pool waren wir nicht, der wirkte aber ganz nett. Das Restaurant ist gut und gemütlich. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Leider ist es durch die Nähe zur Hauptstraße recht laut, an 3 von 4 Nächten waren außerdem Partys am Strand, die bis weit in die Nacht hinein sehr laut waren. An unserem Bungalow gab es leider kein Geländer, was mit kleinen Kids ganz praktisch wâre, die meisten anderen hatten das aber. So musste man mit dem Stufen aufpassen.

Un cauchemar, j'ai demandé à changer d'hotel et j'ai pu finir mon séjour enfin heureuse

Odeur effroyable dans la salle de bain (merde), cuisine de l'hotel ouverte d'une saleté repoussante, nids de bourdons noirs au dessus de ma terrasse. Chemin pour accéder à la plage jonché de détritus et dangereux.

Das Restaurant hat eine gute Küche und auch gute Preise. Staff ist freundlich.

Es hätte eine Top-Location sein können, wenn da etwas Zeit in die Pflege investiert würde. So war vieles bissl heruntergekommen und der Gartenbereich sah ungepflegt aus.

Bungalows bien espacés, dans un cadre bien entretenu, confortable,jolie piscine. Très bon accueil par le patron et son assistante qui s'est occupée de réserver toutes les excursions, la location du scooter, et la continuité de mon voyage (van+ferry)au même prix que dans les agences extérieures !

Unsere Empfehlung auf Koh Lanta! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ruhige hübsche und gepflegte Anlage. Bungalow gemütlich und sauber, Bad geräumig. Frühstück sehr gut. Angestellte äusserst freundlich& hilfsbereit. Besitzer achten darauf wenig Abfall zu produzieren, man kann Wasser nachfüllen. Longbeach über 150m Fussweg zu erreichen, der Strand ist wunderschön.

-Le personnel est très gentil, la dame de la réception est adorable, nous a aider pour louer un scooter qui était livrer à l’hôtel 20min plus tard -Distributeur d’eau potable et gourde à disposition très pratique -Piscine très agréable dans une petite jungle -Logement très espacé avec petit hammack sur la terrasse
