Lovely stay, would return

Beautiful immaculately clean rooms. Quiet area and setting in gardens.. Yet only 5 minutes from Long Beach and the top road with numerous bars, restaurants, and shops. Nice welcoming staff, helpful in sorting motor bike rental and laundry. Good AC in rooms and shower, large fridge too. Kettle and tea, coffee supplied. There is a hotel next door, you can use the pool for 100 B. Nice breakfast, 1 minute walk, at the top of the road - Fillfeel.

By no means a negative and no reflection on the resort. To note that the mosque is close by and therefore appli for all the hotels in the area.

Spacious pretty new bungalows in a garden setting

We came to the island pretty late, but the hosts made the late check in possible. The bungalows were more spacious than in other locations we stayed in koh lanta.

The rooms were very clean and quiet. The owner and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very close to the beach (5 min walk) and other restaurants and cafes in the Long Beach area

A beautiful, authentic place with a warm local vibe that made my stay in Koh Lanta truly special.

I absolutely loved the vibe of this place. It felt very local and authentic, not like a typical hotel or hostel. The atmosphere was calm and cozy, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and everything was thoughtfully provided – from slippers and umbrellas to a beach bag. I felt very comfortable and taken care of during my stay.

Honestly, there was nothing I disliked. The stay exceeded my expectations and felt very well balanced and genuine.

Kindest staff on the island!

Gorgeous location, short walk to the beach, but also near the main road for restaurants/shops/ATM. Best thing is the staff - wonderful ladies help with anything you need and always say hello & smiling! Helped me when my pick up had gone to the wrong location.

As other people have said, there is a mosque nearby and you can hear the call to prayer very clearly! I personally am an early riser so not bothered by this but for someone else this could be an issue.

Lovely Stay, Highly Recommend

Private bungalows in a secluded area but still extremely easy to get to the beach or the main road with restaurants. We were able to rent a motorbike from the front desk and could have had laundry done if we needed too. Every day, we were given two water bottles which was thoughtful. Lovely welcome gift on arrival. Comfortable and spacious rooms with AC that worked very well. Staff was very hospitable.

Exceptional

We have stayed in many places around Thailand having been traveling for a number of weeks and here has definitely stood out to us! We didn’t want to leave. The room felt like a home as it was super comfortable, we loved our hammock on the balcony and how spacious it was! Everywhere was exceptionally clean and the staff were very friendly offering to help with transport to and from the port and with any activities or bike rental.

Nothing :) There is no pool but one next door you can use for 100 THB.

Amazing Stay at Koh Lanta Long Beach!

I stayed at The Sun Long Beach Resort for 6 nights and had such a lovely experience. The location is perfect—just a short 5-minute walk to Long Beach and close to the main road where you’ll find restaurants, an ATM, and a grocery store. Super convenient without being noisy. The room was spotless, spacious, and really comfortable. They leave fresh water every day, which was a thoughtful touch, and you can also rent a scooter directly from the resort, which made it really easy to explore the island. It’s true that there’s a mosque nearby and you can hear the call to prayer, especially early in the morning—but I used earplugs and slept right through it every night without a problem. The real highlight was the staff—they were incredibly kind and helpful. My flight was seriously delayed and I arrived really late, after restaurants had already closed. They proactively messaged me to ask if I’d like them to prepare something in advance—and when I arrived, there was a delicious pad Thai and fresh watermelon waiting for me, which they didn’t even charge for. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and made me feel so welcome. Would absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful, well-located stay with genuinely kind people running it!

Clean, close to beach, beautiful nature

Great place to stay at a great price. New bungalows with modern interiors, great AC and wifi, and comfortable bed. Patio with deck chairs and hammock. 5 min walk to a great section of Long Beach. Friendly owners. Only downsides are noise from mosque and from cicadas (mosque loudspeaker is actually relatively low volume for a typical mosque, and I usually slept through 530am prayer call without earplugs…the cicada noise is insane at certain times of day and is a spectacle to behold…being earplugs for them if you plan to spent time on patio).

Lovely place very close to Long Beach! The staff are very kind and helpful, and can arrange anything you need in the area. They also made us delicious pad thai when we arrived late in the day! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We loved our stay!

There is a mosque with a loudspeaker nearby, so you will probably be woken up around 5:45AM every day. But earplugs help!

Good location - just a walk away from the beach and local coffee shops like the Glass House which was also a great space for co-working. Staff were so friendly and even brought an extra desk to our room so we could work more comfortably.
