Tropical relaxation and peaceful vibes near Long Beach

I’ve just finished a three-night stay at Tamarind Twin Resort, and it was exactly what I needed for the "chill out" portion of my holiday. The resort has a wonderful tropical atmosphere, with green coconut trees providing natural shade around a very clean and well-maintained swimming pool. It’s a quiet, peaceful spot where guests generally keep to themselves, making it perfect if you’re looking for a break from the busier islands. My private room was excellent. The double bed was very comfortable, and the air conditioning was effective, ensuring a great night's sleep. One of my favourite features was the private balcony; it had a coffee table for relaxing and an adjustable clothes rack which was incredibly handy. Being able to wash my swimwear and essentials in the evening and have them dry by morning made the stay so much more convenient. The shower also had great pressure and consistent hot water. The location is brilliant—there’s a handy shortcut that puts you on Long Beach within a 500-metre walk. You’re also close to plenty of mini-marts and fantastic local eateries. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when it came to booking my transfer to Ao Nang. My only suggestion for improvement would be regarding the payment process. Unlike my other bookings, I couldn't pay in advance via Booking.com, meaning I had to settle in cash to avoid card transaction fees. Dealing with Thai ATM fees (250 THB per withdrawal) can be a bit of a hassle, so being able to prepay the larger accommodation cost would have made budget management a lot simpler. Overall, it’s a lovely resort and great value for money. I’d certainly consider staying here again if I return to Koh Lanta. Pro-tip: For affordable and delicious Thai food, stick to the smaller sit-down eateries on the main street. If you head to the beach in the evening, grab a drink at San’s Sunset Bar to catch a great fire show!

Great location, short walk to the beach

A quiet location, just a few minutes walk from the beach. Basic and clean. All you need for a beach holiday. There is a small balcony with table and chairs. It has also a drying rack, which is handy. Restaurants are close, with lots of options. There is a restaurant that belongs to the Fill Feel resort, you pass it on the way to the beach. Great place for breakfast/lunch, they also have nice fruit juices.

Very enjoyable stay with a short walk to a beautiful beach.

Very friendly reception staff, they allowed us to check in early and helped with transport by speedboat to our next stay in Railay. The rooms are nice with a big balcony. The beach is a 5 minute walk away through a short cut with beautiful sand and waves, and there is a good selection of restaurants and bars on the sand

The swimming pool is shared with other hotels and too busy, it is better to go to the beach. Be careful of the tuk tuks on the main road, they will overcharge you.

Fantastic stay in Koh Lanta

Fabulous stay in a good location on Koh Lanta. Room is large and clean, with a spacious balcony with seating and drying rack. Staff that work here are so kind and friendly, nothing is too much hassle. Bike rental is easy to organise, at a cheap price. Good location concerning food options nearby - and short walk to the beach

Great place to stay on Ko Lanta Long Beach

Perfect location a 5 min walk down a quiet lane to the beach. Long Beach great for swimming, and some shade in the earlier part of the day. The pool area is really nice too. Lots of restaurants on the road behind the resort and on the beach. The staff at the hotel were all really nice and welcoming, especially the manager, Like, who greeted us on our arrival and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. You can have a good breakfast next door at the Tamarind Lanta Resort, and they serve lunch there too. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Comfortable stay with family vibes.

Big and clean rooms. Location 5 min walk from Long Beach. Breakfast served in room when asked. VERY comfortable beds! Nice balcony. No noise from street.

As a solo traveler, the vibe didn’t suit me, as there were many families with kids, so it was busy at the pool. Nothing negative about the hotel though.

they wanted my passport for renting a bike even when I was staying there they didn’t accept an ID card , luckily a nearby shop rented one with and an ID card . staff is not very helpful .

The resort is located very near the beach, approximately 2 minutes walk. Pool area is also great. Nice breakfast is available right in the resort. Staff was very supportive and helpful.

good stay for koh lanta

Extremely friendly staff - I had a few issues with my AC and they sorted it, and they organised my onward travel for me. scooter rental is available at a good price of 200 baht a day. a scooter is 100% needed to get around. room was basic but large, and the balcony was lovely.

the shower was pretty rough - really low pressure and no temperature control.

Wonderful

Spacious room with reasonable price, has a pool and a restaurant inside hotel, working well facilities, close location to long beach. But mostly, kind and helpful staff I wanna say. I personally had a bank issue in Lanta but staff were willing to help me to figure out the solution and it worked out. Once again, I really appreciate that.

Ruhige, saubere Unterkunft, relativ neu und gepflegt. Etwas abseits von der Hauptstraße, deshalb kein Verkehrswert.

Leider war der von uns gebuchte 3-Bett-Raum angeblich überbucht, so dass wir ein 2 Bett Zimmer mit einer zusätzlich auf den Boden gelegten Matratze nehmen mussten. Verbunden mit einem winzigen Preisnachlass.

Jag personligen skulle inte välja att bo här en längre tid men uppfattar det som ett standard hotell

Frukosten var väl inte den bästa med väldig lite att välja på, sen det som serverades var helt ok. Men vi kom från ett annat hotell innan som hade betydligt högre standard och vi bodde endast här 2 nätter så vi var inställda på att det inte var ett 5-stjärnigt ställe vi hade bokat ;)

Formidable moment de détente et d''amusement ... service au top

Nous sommes venus en famille : 2 adultes et 2 ado ( 10 et 12 ans) . Nous avons aimé le cadre, la proximité avec la plage. Le service est parfait : un grand merci à la dame de l'acceuil (Mii et Cha j'espère qu'elle se reconnaîtra) qui nous a aidé pendant tout notre séjour : location scooter, reservation navette , lavage du linge . Elles sont adorables et très serviables Le ménage est fait tpous les matins (sauf si les clients disent que ce n'est pas utile)

Nous avons été très satisfaits mais peut être un petit coup de neuf à la piscine au niveau du "jaccuzi" mais c'est vraiment si il faut trouver quelque chose...

Juste parfait

- l'emplacement, à proximité de la plage et proche de la route (supérettes, resto...) - le personnel, efficace et vraiment adorable même si leur anglais n'est pas top. Nous cherchions des vélos enfants à louer, elles nous ont emmenés en voiture faire le tour des loueurs. - la piscine (partagée avec le resort voisin) - la chambre, super propre et la petite terrasse devant - lits très confortables, avec une couette ! A noter que l'hôtel propose un service de linge (40 bath/kg), et de réservation de taxi (100 bath/personne pour le port).

Sans moyen de transport, on est vite "coincé" sur koh Lanta

Correct

Assez bien situé pour un hôtel qui n’est pas directement sur la mer. C’est propre, le déjeuner à la carte est bon mais peu varié. Il y a de bons restaurants à proximité. La piscine est un plus. Le personnel a la réception parle un peu anglais mais ne le comprend pas très bien alors c’est un peu difficile de se faire comprendre.
