I felt awful paying 100 francs per night.

The lady at the reception was extremely kind and always ready to help, and the pool is beautifully surrounded by flowers and palm trees.

I felt terrible because of the dirt, dust, ants, and cigarette butts left by other tourists. The furniture was stained, everything was rusty, and it looked horrible. The hotel is not on the beach as advertised — it’s about a 5-minute walk, and it doesn’t provide sun loungers on the beach like other hotels do. The tap water was brown. I will never return here! A price of 100 francs per night for such a filthy room (the worst I’ve ever had), with a tiny window, a very small terrace, and steep stairs to climb…

Considering the reviews we read prior to booking awe were extremely disappointed and it did not meet our expectations

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a good location to easily access the main road for restaurants and shops. Also short walk down path to beach. The bungalow was a good size with nice veranda. The pool was a nice size. The fresh fruit at breakfast was nice.

The bathroom was very poor and needs refurbishing. Shower was useless, no water pressure. Basin was outside the bathroom and did not have a hot tap! On arrival we only had 2 small hair shampoo and a tiny bar of soap. We didn’t get daily clean as often there was only one person and she couldn’t manage to clean all the rooms. Therefore, toilet bin and room bin didn’t get emptied which is very unhygienic. Toiletries and coffee sachets (2 per day) were not replenished if no room cleaning. Also towels etc not replaced when cleaning did not occur. Pool furniture was stained and wall behind waterfall needed painting. Breakfast was very basic. Scrambled egg was always over cooked and cold as were the fried eggs. No daily variation. All in all we didn’t feel it represented good value for money especially when arriving to pay for our stay we were then informed that there would be an additional 4% credit card service charge, which had not been informed in advance despite giving a credit card to reserve the booking. Also be prepared that all the restaurants and bars accept credit cards - cash only payments

Fabulous resort. Room was spotless, comfortable beds, lovely pool and loungers and only a short walk from Long beach.

The tap in our room was outrageously strong, like a powerhose😂

Loved the location, the pool and the room. Staff were very friendly as well.

Only issue we had was the toilet stopped working twice but they fixed it once then when it stopped working again they gave us access to the room next to us which was fine as we only had one more night there.

It’s clean, close to the beach and staff are very friendly. Good size rooms

It is a 3 star hotel but the bathroom is more than basic. The shower heads are clogged so it’s difficult to take a shower. The water pressure is bad. There is sometimes problems with flushing.

Nothing really around it. 5 min walk to the beach is nice but if you don’t hire a moped you’ll struggle to see anything good as it’s nowhere near many restaurants or old town.

Quiet little haven

This is a lovely, quiet, family hotel. While it's in easy reach of the beach and the main road with lots of restaurants and cafes there is no road noise. We had a room with a balcony that overlooked the swimming pool. The rooms were clean and a good size and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms need updating, but they're clean and functional. We had an issue with the shower head that was sorted out straight away. There's a restaurant for breakfast, we didn't use it but the food looked good, there was a menu for lunch and snacks - we did use this and it was tasty, and they brought it out to us by the pool. The staff were so helpful and welcoming. We asked for help with our days out and they couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating. You can't buy alcohol from the hotel, but the rooms have really good fridges and the local shops sell everything you might need. The pool was lovely with a children's pool off the main pool, there was shade from palm trees and plenty of beds or beanbags - we never had an issue getting space or shade. The pool was cleaned daily and the garden was well looked after.

The bathrooms probably need updating, but I feel they're gradually doing this already.

Great budget option

Excellent value for money option for those on a budget. Good size pool in a stunning setting. Quiet location and about 5 minutes walk to a good beach. Booking tours was a breeze, there was a laundry service and the staff were friendly.

While the bungalow was a good size (40 square metres) with comfortable beds, the bathroom was basic. Breakfast were also basic but acceptable.

Nice people & good location. The pool is nice and clean. A short walk to the beach & 5 minutes by scooter to the town. Also only 10 mins from the pier.

Very pleasant stay at Koh Lanta

It was beautiful located with nice plants around and a swimming pool in the middle. There is a 3 minute walk to the sandy beach (Long Beach). There are some local restaurants nearby with nice curry dishes. The reception can organize tours and transfers to other places/islands. The people at the reception are warm very and helpful.

I missed a drying rack to hang out wet swimming clothes. I didn’t like the towels as they didn’t dry my body well. It would also be great to have more hooks in the bathroom to hang things.

Lovely resort, clean rooms, gorgeous pool and gardens

Lovely spacious clean room overlooking the pool. The pool area and gardens are well kept with beautiful planting. Very quiet location even though a few minutes walk to the beach from the back of the hotel and a few minutes walk to the main road which has many restaurants as does the beach.

Area was not great, you would need a moped.

Room was large with good light. We were upgraded us so had balcony over looking the pool. Pool medium size good to dip in. very short walk to the beach and near restaurants and very small marts. Staff friendly. Drying rack for clothes. Quiet.

Needed a new light bulb but was never fixed. Walkway to beach had no light at night. People put towels on sun beds early in the morning to save them.

Peaceful Resort is peace, quiet and relaxing

The location was fabulous. A short walk down a path to the beautiful Long Beach was so convenient and peaceful. We stayed in both a family room and then extended our stay and moved to a bungalow. Both were brilliant. The pool was clean and ni ely kept with plenty of loungers or beanbags to sit by the pool and lit up at night it was fantastic to swim in. The staff are all very lovely and very helpful. We rented a scooter to get about on the island and had no problems at all. Extended our time with the moped too. Sad for this part to end. Goodbye Peaceful Resort which truly deserves its name. The only noise you hear are the odd vehicle on the gravel drive and the insects singing at night.

Nothing we didn't like. Everything was perfect for us. We even had our grandchildren stay over one night when we had the family room and they loved it too.

Amazing little get away

As in the previous review, the pool and location were lovely. We were able to rent scooters for cheap. Staff were accommodating. All round good egg.

Nothing to complain about really. Admittedly the facilities for food on site were not great but there's plenty of great places to eat nearby.

Great little escape in Koh Lanta

Lovely pool, huge bed, great access to the beach and scooter hire was really easy.

TV in the room didn't work (although didn't really bother us) kettle was also a little dodgy but still worked like a charm. Really not a lot to complain about was a great place to stay

Amazing place with great pool view and welcoming and supporting staff.

This place was such a pleasant surprise. Initially, we had asked them to provide a twin bed room, and since all their economy rooms had double beds the staff upgraded us to a Bungalow!! The reception staff was amazing, they were super helpful and always ready to our questions. The room was super clean and the bathroom always smelled good. The AC works and the pool was clean and has a beautiful surrounding.

1. The bathroom faciilities could be better. e.g. the shower head doesn't hold, the water pressure is not veery strong, no additional area to place the toilettres. 2. The sink tap needs a change :)

The staffers here are excellent

The most satisfying thing about the room is that the swimming pool is very beautiful, it is like a blue ocean, but it lacks some lights at night. The service staff very kind. There is a Chinese-speaking lady who helped us a lot (rent car, tickets, inquiring about travel, etc.), I am very grateful to the service staff here. It's perfect to bask in the sun and read a book by the pool during the day. It takes 5-8 minutes to walk to the beach.

The most dissatisfaction is the water pressure of the toilet and shower. This is very troublesome, maybe we are unlucky. In addition, it is a bit far from 7-11, it should be good to rent a motorbike, otherwise it will take 20 minutes to walk
