Immaculate grounds with mature and curated landscaping/vegetation. Beautiful infinity pool areas with plenty of upscale loungers and pagoda style beds; including beach front. Breakfast area is beautiful and includes water front seating. Best sunset on the strip. Maintained beach area. Breakfast options are first class. Staff is always on hand and smiling. Do note that this is an adult only resort that caters to a mature audience (ie. average age 65-75 plus plus at the time of our stay). Rooms/houses are well maintained and upscale but styling is conservative rather than modern/design oriented. Thanks you to all the staff=5/5

Beautiful resort with excellent service and staff. Very peaceful and relaxing as it’s Adults only. Excellent breakfast and Dinner. Would highly recommend. It’s definitely one of the best resorts in Thailand.

Layana Resort is a truly beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The property is immaculately maintained, with lush grounds, elegant design, and a serene atmosphere that immediately makes you feel on vacation. The beach is one of the highlights—clean, peaceful, and perfectly positioned for sunsets and long, quiet walks.
The staff went above and beyond for New Year’s Eve, with thoughtful festivities and a well-organized celebration that made the holiday feel special without being overwhelming. It was clear that a lot of care and effort went into creating a memorable experience for guests, which we really appreciated.
Overall, the resort feels refined and tranquil, ideal for unwinding. That said, there is some room for improvement when it comes to food and service speed. While the meals were good, they didn’t quite match the high standard set by the property itself, and service at times felt slower than expected.
Despite those minor points, Layana is a wonderful resort with a stunning setting and a warm, attentive team. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

I think you can only describe this hotel as perfect. The attention to detail goes above and beyond and from the minute we arrived to the minute we left we felt comfortable, relaxed and valued. The staff and management cannot do enough to make your stay a special one. It is one of those hotels that will stay with us for a long time for the level of care and attention. It also looks pretty amazing as well and the location is unbeatable!!! Thanks for the best week Layana xx
