Lanta Palm Beach Resort , Beach Bungalow - Koh Lanta

Location is perfect, on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. Staff friendly and overall good stay..

Basic, bed not very comfortable. Building opposite room, starting as soon as it was light and no coffee in room, on any day. Overall very expensive for such a basic bungalow, with no pool.

The location was very good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us move to an improved property without any problem the next day

The standard bungalow was poorly maintained with a cracked window, very steep and uneven steps to get into the property without any handrails, a fridge which was barely working and smelt and a very badly maintained bathroom. The beds were hard and damp. We upgraded to a delux bungalow which cost us more money but was reasonable. There was no warning that these bungalows were not suitable for anyone with Mobility issues

Staff are brilliant. Especially thr check in staff. Bungalows are one minute from the beach in a very quiet peaceful location. Great AC kettle and fridge bed was a little hard but they provided a mattress topper for me. Breakfast was on the beach. Beutiful location. Basic breakfast. All in all VFM and will return.

A real scam. Room with view on a parking lot and garbage. While it was sold as garden view!!!! Tv set not working. Half of room lights not working. Staff helpless. Breakfast supposed to be with choice up to 200bath said at reception: in reality only avaliable are some basic sets , nothing more; slow service.

Location is very good, right next to the beach. Many restaurants nearby. Beach is good, suitable for kids.

4% of commition when paying by card - While booking in booking.com it did not even offer to pay fully and when checking in they charge 4% of commission. Super outdated and several things not working - It looks like everything was built 15 years ago and nothing has been done ever since. Everything is outdated - not possible to close toilet door (not even talking about locking, just closing). One window does not have curtains - people can directly look you brushing your teeth or sleeping in your bed. Restorant area is super outdated, tables and chairs look like 20 years old. Lack of essentials - NO hairdryer (got it after asking directly), NO handtowels (we specifically asked and were provided later), very unstable water supply and low water pressure. Very poor shower area in general. Super hard and outdated beds, stayed for 7 nights and got back pains. NO chair nor table in room. NO locker/ safe Breakfast is served at the beach (good location), but service is very poor, servants seem to be sad/ miserable. Food is below average. There are approximately 4 different options for breakfast, lack of variety. Ants There are ants in room and in bed that are biting. In general this is probably one of the worst stays we have ever experienced (travelled in many different countries - Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Cuba, Mauritius, Seychelles, and many other countries). It is not worth the money they are charging. Koh Lanta in general seems more like a muslim country not a friendly and welcoming Thailand that you would imagine. Also worth mentioning is the fact that Koh Lanta seems to be pricey and not in balance of what you get for your money.

I received a discounted rate for booking close to the date of stay. I don’t think the accommodation would be worth the listed price

The reception staff were nice and it was a smooth check in. We asked for extra pillows and got 2 sofa cushions since they didn’t have any spare ones.

The breakfast waiters. + that we stayed for 5 nights and they did not neither clean the room for our full stay or changed our towels. We had 2 new loo rolls and 4 btl of water outside our door every day. We had to find somewhere to throw out our own trash / toilet paper bins since they did not once come in to our room to clean it. The breakfast (that was included in the price) was horrible. The first morning we waited over 2 hours!!! For our breakfast. Few shakes and fruit plates and some eggs. The remaining days was exactly the same. They forgot to bring what we ordered and we had to go and ask several times for ordered missing items. -with almost no other tables to serve the staff were sitting petting cats cats asking nothing rather than serving us. It was the worse experience I’ve had in my 40 year old life. It seriously took 2 hours to get a fruit plate of water melon. Unbelievable. Enough about the poor service. The location was great. However the grass area between the hotel and the beach was very dirty and they did not make any effort to clean up old trash, which was a shame.
