Lanta L.D. Beach Bungalow

Location is fantastic, less than 1min to the beach, less than 5min to the market (and the best Pad Thai from Mr Pad Thai outside the the Aleena Market). Friendly staff, please is kept clean, 1min to the restaurant for breakfast and massage place with best sunset spot.

Bed is abit hard for me.

The staff is amazing and great prices for scooters and laundry.

The road to the resort is very muddy and turns into a lake during rain. The sheets were stained. Every villa/room basically has the same view so no need to upgrade to sea view.

Super lovely staff ready to help in anyway. Great location right next to the beach and walking distance from multiple minimarts, restaurants, gym, thai boxing etc.

The bed was rock hard and we were only given a top sheet and the a/c unit changed so much between temperatures we kept waking up either sweating or freezing cold

Perfect location for a convenient, relaxing beach holiday, with beds on the beach as part of the restaurant and super friendly, helpful staff! The environment is really relaxed and unpretentious, but very well maintained and comfortable. The only things we thought could be improved: the hotel didn’t provide beach towels, and the breakfast in the restaurant wasn’t great.

The staff were so fantastic and made us feel very special on a our honeymoon! The location is perfect, seconds away from the beach and loads of bars/restaurants.

We are both very tall so bed was a little small for us, but that is just personal preference.

OK, we kow we opted for a fan room so didn't expect A/C but it was exceptionally hot for the time of year we were there. The fan on the wall worked absolutely fine and we got used to it after the first week. The location was great, 2 miutes walk down a path to Long Beach where there are a number of restaurants like 'Somewhere Else, Mr Wee and Funky Fish as well as a really good ice cream shop. The bungalows are clean and basic. 2 Chairs and a table for each bungalow. The fan rooms have plastic furniture rather than wooden ones for the A/C Rooms. I actually find the plastic ones more comfortable as the wooden chairs are a bit too upright and unforgiving to my mind, s e were happy. The hammock is very narrow but fine to use if you're careful. Cleaning staff were lovely Laundry cost 45BHT at the office ort youy could pay 40BHT by walking up the road a bit. A small minimart 2 minutes walk away always had plenty of bottled water and cut fruit in the fridge. Also food served outside which always seemed popular although we never tried it so can't comment. Scooter hire was easily arranged at the resort and we had a new Yamaha 125 which easily coped with us going 2-up.

The cleaning was a bit git or miss. We were never sure when they would do the room altbough if we were there when they were doing their rounds we were always able to ask them to do so., Sometimes all we needed was the toilet bin changing so we'd leave that outside if we were going out. The room was REALLY small which was a bit of a shock and no shelves to put clothes. This wasn't such a surprise though as not that unusual on Lanta. There was an open-fronted wardrobe with space on top and at bottom for clothing. It was entirely adequate for our purpises and cheap so overall no complaints at all.

I stayed in a “small” 25m2 bungalow. The size was just fine for 2 people. The bathroom was not shown in the pictures but is ok. Comfy bed and AC working well. Very kind staff :) they can also organize for you laundry and motorbike.

The shower could drain a little better but is not a big deal really.

It was very close to the beach. The staff were really nice and helpful. There were multiple places where you could eat breakfast, lunch and dinner close by.

Our toilet didn’t work. It could not flush properly.

- Amazing location, bungalow at 100m of Long Beach. The beach is super clean, with nice sand, loads of fantastic beach café (our favorite one was Sanset), perfect sun exposition all day and mostly the most beautiful sunset 🌅 Also really close by shops, a good gym and taxi road. - The staff is amazing! Super friendly and helpful, all the women working there (from reception to house keeping) are lovely. They give free water, offer to clean the room everyday, instal a mosquito net above the bed, gave us brand new pillows… - Each bungalow have a little table and chairs out at the front, handy to dry clothes and towels and sit down and chill. - We love how cheap it was!! So worth it if you like spending all your time outside.

- The bungalow is quiet old and dated (it was one without AC, just a fan). It was super hot and dark in there. But for the price we paid we can’t even complain! Expect really basic accommodation, with a old water room (and cold shower). Bed was comfy though and towels smelled lovely. We slept so well (better than in a expensive hotel!!)

Perfectly located and surprisingly quick at night! Staff were really nice, always smiling and ready to help! Mr Wee restaurant is so yummy + the hotel is closed to Mr pad Thai which is definitely the best pad Thai I had in Thailand !

You have to ask to get your room done

The location was perfect. The staff was very nice, extremely friendly and helpful. The bungalow was basic but had everything you need. The water pressure in the shower was very good. The wifi worked very well.

The property is on Long Beach and our bungalow was about 50m back - awesome. It was quiet but not isolated - a good choice of restaurants on the beach, a bakery round the corner and shops/ATMs within a few hundred meters. Reception was super helpful and sorted a 4 Islands Tour and a transfer to Khao Sok. The bungalow was really clean, the staff were smiley and helpful and it had a hammock too.

We booked a room with a fan which worked well, but it was hot. a/c was available.

Great location. Mr wee restaurant was good food and friendly. We stayed in two different rooms, the last one the bed was very hard, they said replacing the hard beds this year. Reception sorted a scooter rental, laundry and onward ferry, very friendly. Lovely sunsets and volleyball every sunset on the beach

Located at what I think is easily the nicest, most relaxing and tucked away spot at the beach in Lanta, this little retreat offers outstanding value for money. I stayed in one of the newly built or renovated Air-Conditioned bungalows. It was spot on for me as a solo traveller and would be lovely for a younger couple, too (they do have larger bunglows too, so for families and in particular with kids very suitable too). The interior was stylish and pleasant and very clean. The bed was super comfy. I loved the electric powerpoints right at the bed lamps! The two sisters Nat and Sandi who run the business are the cutest and most helpful people. On arravial, I had lost my credit card and had run out of cash (Note that everything works with cash anywhere here, including the bookings via booking.com that are paid at accommodation). They let me book a night longer and even handed me out the money I had paid for the first night. This got me over the day, and I was able to sort out things. Once settled in, I kept extending and extending. You could spend weeks in a not much more than 500m radius little ecosytem, between the beach, great food at the beach (highly recomment MR. Wee right behind the retreat), massage at the beach, some of the most breathtaking sunsets I have ever seen, a decent minimart and more amazing, fresh food and massages, just a stroll away. There are some other chill bars around (including at the beach). If you keep an ear out, there might be a party somewhere a tuk-tuk ride away but not right here, so this is really nice and quiet.

It was a cute bungalow to stay. Good environment, next to the see and other restaurants. Staff was very helpful.

We stayed at the deluxe room, I would think of taking family room next time. Because there was very little space, no dresser.

We loved it! We came here as part of oir honeymoon trip and were so pleasantly surprised - the location was spot on! nice basic bungalows cleaned daily and totally hassle free. A casual 30 metres walk to the big wide beach, comfortable thai style seating to lounge around all day, happy hour cocktails and a great pad thai and pizza on offer at mr wees restaurant as you enter the beach. Close to other beach bars and party places but also quiet. We hired a bike to tour the rest of the island from the hotel, booked our tickets for onward travel and our laundry etc all through the very helpful reception team. Theres an amazing sandwich place and minimart on the road out of the resort to the main road, we loved that for breakfast. We will be back, massive thumbs up from us thank you for such a chilled and easy stay!!!

the moment we got there the toilet was blocked, they came and unblocked it but not properly then the next time we used it, it was still blocked and we told them but they never came to unblock it so we had to use restaurant toilets for the remainder of our stay and had a fully blocked toilet in our room the whole time and the water facilities stopped working on the last day, I’d also recommend staying in an A/C Bungalow as they seem more substantial

The beach is absolutely stunning. Three kilometers of white sand, tranquil sea, and amazing sunsets. The bungalows are just meters away from the beach. The restaurant (Mr. Wee's) is literally right on the beach.

If you stay in one of the non-aircon bungalows, which are cheaper, there is almost no storage or table space inside. It's just a bed (with mosquito netting), enough room to walk around it, and a small table. The aircon bungalow I stayed in was much bigger and had plenty of storage space. In both cases, there was only one electrical outlet (which could be a drag if there's more than one person in the bungalow). A minor point for me, because I was working during my holiday, was that the electric outlet was next to the bed and not near a work surface. So I had to use my laptop on battery and keep recharging it.
