The perfect place for relaxation.

I loved the facilities that the hotel had, the room itself was wonderful. Was very spacious and had everything you would need, and Netflix! The entire area is gorgeous, you can tell they take great care of it. The pool itself is also very spacious and has plenty of chair to relax on it that's your thing. The beach is massive and quiet, whilst getting a lot of sun.

Whilst I know nothing can be done about it, the sea had a lot of sharp rocks in it, so be careful when swimming to not cut yourself up. Apart from that I had zero problems with the place, a perfect picturesque hotel!

Great staff who are very child-friendly – many of them are genuinely lovely people. Nice and well-sized family rooms (Villa Family Deluxe). Generally quiet area. A tidy and fresh feel throughout the compound. A pretty intimate feel to the place. Very good pool (I doubt the pool villas are worth the extra cost). Lovely location by a nice, almost private beach. Several good food options close by. Conveniently located halfway between the Old Town and the ferry/main town. The restaurant is good and relaxed. The breakfast is very solid and leaves little to be desired – we never tired of the options. Flexible cleaning arrangements.

A bit more shade by the pool would have been welcome. The pool could have been cleaned more frequently and more thoroughly. The garbage bins around the compound (outside apartments) were often full. Food prices at the restaurant are fairly reasonable, slightly on the expensive side, but beverages are three to four times more expensive than on the main street (just 100 meters away). A fairly hefty extra charge for a baby bed was disappointing.

Excellent location with pool overlooking the beach. Staff were very friendly and even though it rained for half our stay, there is so much to do on your doorstep.

Relaxing Beachfront Stay with Exceptional Service

We had a very pleasant stay at this lovely beachfront resort. The open bar and restaurant area create a relaxed atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The staff were exceptionally helpful — especially Sompean, who arranged our transfers smoothly and with great care. There are several excellent restaurants just a short walk away, and Koh Lanta still feels wonderfully authentic and laid-back.

Rooms were clean and tidy and a good size. Layout was convenient and amenities were good.

The food was average and the pool had too few loungers / parasols, so poor chances of having anywhere to sit or shade.

Nice family friendly stay

The property is right of the beach, which is really nice. You have the pool and the ocean at direct access. The hotel staff is maintaining the garden and plans very nice the Villa was exactly what was expected clean and very good fitting for family four.

One minor thing was the pick up after room service was always next day or had to be asked for, even if left outside or at the villa fence. Same at the main pool, pickup of old plates and left overs.

Beautiful property. Huge Duplex bungalows with large verandas. Clean and comfortable. Beds very comfy. Breakfasts amazing. Staff incredible. Close walk to many other restaurants, to catch a tuktuk or rent a motorcycle (we rented from hotel-easy and competitively priced). Beautiful beach and pool.

Beautiful resort with lovely kind staff who couldn’t do enough to help. We easily rented bikes from reception. The swimming pool and beach were great too. Our room was very spacious and was cleaned every day amazingly

Lovely beach chalets in a quiet location.

Absolutely wonderful chalet style stand-alone rooms that are very close to the beach. Weather permitting the sunsets here are glorious. Friendly, courteous and accommodating staff try their very best to make your stay a pleasurable one. Nice pool area and a restaurant that overlooks the sea, restaurants outside are within walking distance.

A rude security guard came pounding on my door TWICE late at night despite the DND sign clearly visible, because the previous guest of my room had booked a nightly taxi into town, but had checked out earlier that day. Also, parts of the resort are unkempt, with tall weeds growing abundantly.

Wonderfull stay

The decor in the room was absolutely beautifull with attention to detail. There were even free Mosquito spray for use. The pool is lovely and the breakfast was also nice.

They are busy constructing a new area at the breakfast/seefront area, so the view was enclosed with building net. I suppose once it is finished it will be very nice. Yogurt would also be a nice option to add at breakfast as well.

We had a fantastic stay at Lanta Casa Blanca! The property is beautifully designed, especially the outdoor area with its amazing pool – perfect for relaxing. Everything was spotlessly clean and well-maintained – you can tell great attention is paid to detail. The beds were also extremely comfortable – we slept wonderfully. The private beach area is another highlight – clean, peaceful, and simply stunning. Breakfast was delicious and varied every morning. A special mention goes to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff – we truly felt welcome and well taken care of. The location is excellent – peaceful yet central – and you can easily rent a scooter directly at the hotel at great rates. One thing that really impressed us: we had to leave a day early and were even refunded for the last night – that’s definitely not something you see every day! We will definitely be back – highly recommended! 💛

Everything: the rooms were very new and neat; breakfast was great with a lot of variety to choose from; the sunsets at the beach of the hotel were amazing; location was great, quiet area with different restaurants around; the pool was very nice and clean; Staff was helpful and friendly. The room with the pool was stunning and very nicely done. It was very clean also.

The restaurant and bar were very rustic and as there was nowhere else to go you felt a little stuck. There were items not available on the bar menu and there were alot of bugs with no effort to keep them at bay. There was a BBq event one evening we were there and we asked staff about it in the morning but not one of them told us we had to reserve a spot so we turned up and we had to sit at the bar and watch everyone else attend. Language was an issue with alot of the staff not being able to converse easily in english.

Great stay in a gorgeous resort!

We loved our stay here. The resort is so pretty and well maintained and has a great holiday vibe. The rooms are nice and spacious. And at the beach there are multiple restaurant options. Breakfast has enough western options. Fruit, yoghurt, fresh egg station, waffles etc. I would definitely recommend this place or come back again!

The water in the pool was too warm. Definitely with the temperatures in Thailand. You are not able to cool down. This was really a shame. And there is no shade in the pool which is not ideal with young children. If the water was cool this review would have gotten a 10.

Best overall resort we stayed in South Thailand

Lanta Casa Blanca was the overall best resort we stayed in during our 2 week South Thailand island trip. The staff were helpful, the rooms clean amd comfy, the beach was lovely and we had loads of fun in the pool. Bonus for my vegetarian wife were the good vegetarian options during breakfast.

There is construction on the main road right in front of the resort, causing some bottlenecks if you drive, but I do expect this wont' last long and will be complete once the road expansion is done.

Excellent family hotel right on the beach!

Our second time visiting this hotel and it was excellent again! We love the pool and beach combo and the restaurant was reasonably priced and good food and drink. We love the location as it has lots for food options down the beach to choose from. It’s set up well for families with small children such as offering a cot and high chair. Breakfast is very good! Staff are helpful and kind! Free car park is useful as we hired a car for our entire stay.

Charging for a baby cot always takes me by surprise at this hotel. I haven’t paid for one anywhere when travelling apart from here. The property want to charge for sleeping on the day bed in the room. Our three year old slept on it for some of the time during our stay anyway, without paying.

Slice of luxury but a tad expensive for Thailand

This hotel was a slice of luxury on our backpacking trip. Rooms are spacious and you can leave the aircon/electric on whilst you arent in the room so that's great. Breakfast is really good, they make you fresh pancakes, omelette, Thai pancakes. They have a great selection of breakfast juices. They have a bell on the sunbeds to ring to order drinks from your sun lounger. Staff are all friendly. We had a problem with our door and it was fixed within half hour. Beach is absolutely gorgeous here and quite quiet. You MUST try the Yawee restaurant that is a 5 min walk from the hotel it is the best food we had in Thailand.

Apart from the breakfast, the food isn't as good as you'd expect from such a luxurious hotel. They give you 2 free bottles of water per day, but that isn't enough. After coming from a hotel in Railay where they had a freezing cold water dispenser, we were a bit disappointed. I asked the staff to fill up my bottle but it wasn't cold water. The cleaner also turned our air con off everytime she went and tidied our room. Don't allow us to use the aircon without the key card if you don't actually want people to use the aircon. We had it on so we could have a break from the heat. There is also lots and lots of kids in the pool. I understand its not adults only, so not a complaint just an observation but you couldn't relax around the pool. Just a few small downfalls but still rated our stay 10/10

Best Hotel in Ko Lanta. The pool is fabulous for doing lengths, the staff are so amazingly helpful and friendly. The food is superb, those breaksfasts were amazing. Still missing my egg roti every morning. Great all day lunch. Cocktails at the beach, nice little button on the umbrella to call someone. Really liked the sign which said " if you're off your sun lounger for more than 30min someone else can take it" as that is a world wide problem, with a polite solution. Rooms were large, clean, entire hotel was fabulous. Christmas eve Gala BBQ was amazing, great food, thai dancing, fire show, singing. Great little bars and restaurants along the beach. Also 10min walk on the road to Long Beach where there are more restaurants and bars and good long walks. Staff very friendly and organised an Elephant Sanctuary trip for us. Paddleboard to use on beach. Gym was good. We had the family room which was large with 2 rooms a kitchenette and lounge area and 2 bathrooms and our own pool. Worth it. Really wished we stayed longer than 4 nights.
