A lovely hotel run by really lovely people.

Lanta MP Place is a really lovely hotel run by the most hospitable couple of people you could hope to meet. It’s in a quiet square just off the Saladan pier road and about 5 minutes walk from the main commercial area. Although breakfast isn’t provided, they do the most excellent coffee. Very helpful and kind, rooms are spotless with fresh drinking water provided daily. It’s a lovely comfortable place and they can assist with recommendations, taxis, laundry - everything with a smile. Highly recommended if you want a base in Saladan away from the crowds.

Wonderful hotel with kind hosts.

The owners are lovely and helped make my stay excellent. They helped me arrange tours, had a very affordable laundry service, and had great suggestions for restaurants, transportation, etc. I unfortunately got sick during my stay and although it is never fun to be sick, they were very kind and made my illness as tolerable as possible.

Truly the only thing I didn't like is that the toilet seat is unusually narrow and a bit uncomfortable. Other than that I don't have anything to complain about!

Amazing staff and cute hotel

The staff is amazing and the hotel is very cute and colourful. The room was cosy and the balcony great. The staff is super helpful and friendly. They helped with boat tickets and scooters and made our stay great.

So good we booked again!

The owner/operators were lovely, helpful and were always on hand for any questions. Gave us a great recommendation for Thai Cat beach bar/restaurant - we ended up going every day! Very quiet little hidden gem within minutes walking distance to Saladan Pier where ferries/speedboats land, and the Lanta hubbub. Highly recommend the “Elvis” restaurant (Sea Sand & Soul I think?) great food and service.

It’s not a criticism as we’re not fussed about breakfast but one should note that there is a small selection of is no food at the hotel. It is also not obvious from the listing but it’s not “on the beach” although it is on the waterfront and we had a lovely view from our room. The tranquil location more than made up for it.

Loved my stay at MP Lanta! Pooky & Aon were fantastic hosts - super friendly and always ready to help. I rented a scooter from them and also borrowed a bike to get around. Their place is gorgeous with all of the stunning plants and colors! They keep the place spotless!

We liked everything about our stay. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, the hotel atmosphere was pleasant, and the location was good. The best part were the hosts, who really made us feel like we are staying with friends/relatives that take care of us. They had put so much attention and love to details that it's humbling.

Great Stay

Our hosts were very accomodating, helpful and kind. The rooms impeccably clean and received daily cleaning service and top ups of ameneties. Complete and hassle free service from laundry , scooter rental and booking of onward transportation. Room 7 has very good seaview. We can admire the sunset and sand bar at low tide from our balcony. Walks on the sandbar at sunset was fun. A lot less crowded and quiet area to enjoy the sunset before heading out for dinner. A lot of great restaurants to choose from nearby. 10 minute walk to the Walking Night market. Very close to the hustle and bustle yet very quiet at night. Renting a scooter afforded us to explore the southern and more remote beaches to escape the crowd.

We thought the hotel is directly beachfront. We were initially looking for a place so we could do some work in serenity with beach access. As it,turned out it really was no issue because it is literally just a 2 minute walk to the edge of the water and the beach loungers are shared with the hotel next door. Not the best ideal location we were initially looking for but we made it work for us. The service and cleanliness of the hotel made up for this shortfall.

The owners were fabulous. So kind and helpful. Gave lots of advice for exploring the island. Definitely recommend booking a sea view room for the views over the gardens and the sea. The hotel was exactly as described. 8 min walk from the pier and easy to find. plenty of wonderful restaurants close by.

-Absolutely everything !! - the wifi is perfect ! I need very good wifi for video calls and haven't had any problem once -I stayed in several 4-5* accomodations around asia but the service couldn't be compared to this place :) -The owners (very sweet couple) are the nicest people and will do literally anything to make your stay the best possible -amazing view from room, amazing location close to everything, the beach is really nice -they provide it all - transport, tours, motorbike rental, laundry washing, coffee, water in glass bottles - daily refill, beach towels....

I will be back again next year.

I have stayed here before and found it to be very good, and so I returned. There seemed to be something going on as the price went up drastically during my stay so I could not extend further, but this appeared to be across Thailand in the week of the 10th February. The room was nice and quiet, the location is just a few minutes walk to the main strip and overlooked the beach. For the rate, I would have liked to see some tea/coffee making in the rooms as I get up super early and nobody is awake and would like a coffee on the nice balcony first thing, but thats just a small preference.

Super relaxed and peaceful, just what I was looking for.

Everything, the staff/owners were awesome, the room had a decent view with a nice balcony, great AC, fast WiFi, cheap scooter hire. I wish I could have stayed longer but I was leaving Thailand for a month (Visa run out) but I will be returning in February:)

Krásné a velmi čisté ubytování. Majitelé jsou úžasní a pomohli nám s objednáním výletů a řešením problémů s transferem. Dokonce jsme na odjezd dostali svačinu. Pokoj je velice čistý, pěkný a úklid je každý den. Super cena za takové služby. Místo je klidné, hned u pláže a kousek je živá ulice s restauracemi a trhy. Čekali jsme kvalitní poměr cena/výkon, ale dostali jsme jedno z nejhezčích a nejútuljnějších ubytování. Fotografie odpovídají realitě.

Občas přes den okolo projíždějí hlučné lodě, ale v noci je naprostý klid.

Ein absolutes Wohlfühlhotel auf Koh Lanta!

Das Hotel ist perfekt gelegen, sehr sauber und die Dusche war ein echtes Highlight – starker Wasserdruck, was in Thailand wirklich selten ist. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Besitzer-Ehepaar: unglaublich herzlich, zuvorkommend, extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an wie zuhause – genau diese persönliche Wärme macht den Aufenthalt so besonders. Ursprünglich hatten wir nur 3 Nächte gebucht, doch da es uns auf der Insel und im Hotel so gut gefallen hat, konnten wir problemlos um zwei weitere Nächte verlängern – sie haben dafür wirklich alles möglich gemacht. Wir haben uns zweimal einen Roller ausgeliehen: völlig unkompliziert und die Roller waren in Top-Zustand. Auch der Wäscheservice war hervorragend – schnell, sauber, perfektes Ergebnis. Kurz gesagt: Top Unterkunft mit Herz. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Die Gastgeber waren unheimlich bemüht unser Aufenthalt so schön wie möglich zu machen und wir haben es sehr genossen dort. Es war ein richtig gemütliches Zimmer mit allem was man braucht. Für uns war es einfach perfekt.

Es war komfortabel und es hatte alles was man braucht, ausser einen Tresor, der hätte noch Batterien benötigt. Der wurde wahrscheinlich noch nie benützt.

Die freundlichsten Gastgeber unserer 3 monatigen Reise.Wir haben uns sofort willkommen gefühlt.Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und bietet genug Platz um Koffer abzulegen. Im Hostel gibt es Roller zu mieten und auch einen Wäsche service, beides zu einem fairen Preis. Die Gastgeber sind dir bei jeder Planung zu sämtlich Aktivitäten behilflich und organiesieren alles für dich. Super Kaffee bekommt man in ihrer hauseigenen Bibliothek die zum verweilen einlädt.Die Lage ist perfekt alles fußlaüfig erreichbar und weit genug von der Hauptstraße entfernt . Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Hotelli oli juuri sellainen kun olin siitä lukenut, 10/10!

Hotelli sijaitsi täydellisellä sijainnilla. Koska olimme vain lyhyen aikaa ja halusimme olla sataman lähellä. Noin 5 min kävelymatka satamasta. Merinäköala oli upea. Huoneet olivat älyttömän siistit ja varusteltu hyvin. Hotellin pariskunta oli todella avuliaita. Vuokrasimme heiltä skootterit.
