Relaxing, comfortable and pampered.

breakfast was made special but eh waiter who found it no tgrouble to cater for any of our or other needs and preferences. The whiome made fresh yoghurt, bread and granola was very special. Free range eggs were another bonus and the colour, amazing. Breakfast was a definite highlight. Also the personal care anf attentiontio detial on how to access the property after hours was very good and no issues.

I would like a choice of coffee strength as I had to use a lot of milk in mine that made it cold quickly. So hot milk with the coffee possibly.

Lovely staff and a great breakfast.

Lovely staff. Great breakfast with homemade Greek yoghurt, homemade bread, and beautiful local produce. All very clean. Comfy bed with crisp white linen. Free parking was a real plus as parking at other hotels in the centre of Oxford was extortionate. Convenient and efficient bus route into Oxford.

Our room was called a "suite". It wasn't - just a room with an en suite and a chair. The bathroom was a wet room.which got absolutely soaking when you had a shower. We had to ask for lots of towels and shower mats so that we could mop up after showers. The doors to the bathroom were glass, so there wasn't much privacy when you went to the loo. No lights above the dressing table in the room. There was a light above the long mirror, but you had to be tall to reach it!

Great room and breakfast; under-delivered on check-in.

Location, parking, friendliness of the staff, room and the superb breakfast.

We booked for our wedding anniversary. We were requested to advise arrival ETA and that rooms were available from 13.00. I advised 13.00. We arrived at 13.10, we were warmly greeted, offered lovely fresh orange juice, told we’d been upgraded (so three points of over-delivering on expectations); we were then led up to our room to be advised it wasn’t ready! Doh! We were told that we could leave our bags, but as we then caught the bus into the city and didn’t return until 10.30pm, we didn’t get to experience much of the room’s ambience as it was just in time to crash out. It would have been nice to unwind/unpack before we went out, especially after the exchange of messages. Having said that breakfast was a triumph of superb locally sourced ingredients and freshly made bread. We would highly recommend the Burlington, it was just strange that the check-in went pear-shaped..

Lovely hotel with great staff home cooked food

Lovely staff and breakfast. The room was beautifully furnished and very clean. It was a bit small, it was advertised as being small -and was fine. Really nice bathroom. Fantastic home made breakfast which even had home made bread and granola. Very friendly helpful staff and wonderful location with lots of decent restaurants near by. The Chinese restaurant 5 mins walk away is excellent.

Disappointing

Location was perfect for our evening out

No staff as it was Christmas - they only advised us after booking a non cancellation rate. So also no breakfast. Room was freezing when we arrived, even though we had advised an arrival time. Took over an hour and room was still not warm as only 1 radiator and small storage heater for a decent sized room, had my coat on for hour then left for the evening early as so cold.

The bedroom was not warm enough And the duvet was not warm enough either. A few blankets would have been welcome. We hit a cold spell and needed extra warmth.

Perfect and great location for the center of Oxford.

Lamar met us when we arrived and helped us with our bags up to our room. He could not have been anymore helpful during our stay. A BIG thank you from both of us.

The location was perfect. You can catch a bus virtually outside the hotel in order to get to the centre of Oxford. The hotel was clean and welcoming. Bed was comfortable and showering facilities perfect. Will stay again if we have to visit Oxford.

Quiet comfortable and good value, in a very convenient location with parking.

The room was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. Despite being on the main Banbury Rd the room was totally quiet.

The room had not been properly cleaned or cleared with private property left in drawers, the tap was broken and the WC needs attention.

Room smaller than expected. Some things didn't work too well, for example bathroom door could not be closed. Too few power sockets, inconveniently placed.

This was so nice!

This was so nice! I was greeted with fresh orange juice when I arrived and was explained how to get into town and where to go for dinner, then I was shown my room. The room was so nice and cozy. The bathroom had a rain shower and was stocked with everything I needed. There were snacks and tea in the room and the bed was nice and comfortable. The next morning, I got an omelette for breakfast and had some granola and yogurt from the buffet. The check-out process was easy and straight-forward. I had a lovely solo trip here, would definitely recommend!

5* B&B best I have ever stayed in

The staff was the most polite and helpful I have ever stayed with, we were given an upgraded room to a super king which next time I would just book as it was so lovely the breakfast was out of this world, excellent quality items very tasty homemade bread and homemade granola was top notch!

Overpriced

Nice breakfast. Good bed. Good wifi. Plenty of storage. Nice bathroom fittings. Coffee machine which is nice to have, unbranded capsules were so-so.

No reception after 6pm. TV signal sketchy. Shower cubicle (? 700mm) was extremely small, especially for a waterfall fitting (so no escape while water temp was adjusted !) Can't get over the price. So expensive for B&B, even for Oxford.

Amazing hotel, very kind and friendly staff, breakfast a definite 12/10

Breakfast was extraordinary. Fresh food, made to your liking any extra wishes are taken care of. Staff is incredibly helpful, very friendly, very kind. Room very clean, bathroom small but with every amenity one needs. Showers are amazing and spacious. This hotel is a hidden gem and if I come back to Oxford I will stay at this hotel again.

Cozy & welcoming Oxford stay.

It was cozy and the perfect location to explore Oxford from. It felt like home away from home. The house has recently been fully renovated and beautifully decorated. Plus the staff were ever so welcoming, they were always extra kind and helpful & ever so friendly. Loved the whole experience.

A nice short break away with my husband exploring Oxford city.

This is an ideal location for visiting Oxford city as there is a regular bus service which stops just outside the hotel that takes you directly into the city centre in a matter of minutes. It is also a short drive to Blenheim Palace which is well worth a visit. A comfortable quiet hotel with friendly staff.

The room was small with not much storage, but we did book a budget room, so maybe what we should have expected.

For the price paid I would have expected better quality and service.

Location was good, buses available every few minutes to get into Oxford. Very good new Kohler shower.

Property not well maintained. Uncomfortable bed, stayed for 3 nights, bathroom was not cleaned once. Underfloor heating in bathroom not working. Poor quality breakfast, small window in which to have breakfast meant that everyone rushed to breakfast at the same time and there were insufficient tables for the number of guests. Breakfasts should be very relaxing when one is on holiday, these definitely weren’t! Very few parkings for the total number of guests, this is not specified on the listing. Arrived back at the hotel at midnight after a wedding and had to search for a parking as there was none available close by.
