Linton Lodge a BW Signature Collection Hotel

I wish that omelette and porridge was added to the fare available for breakfast.

Reasonably close to the city centre with limited on site parking

Room was small and very warm

Good location, quiet, close to the centre.

There is no air-condition

Excellent location for Oxford City centre.

The hotel has no air conditioning and it was very hot. My room had a fan, which helped to some extent, but my companion’s room didn’t. When she asked she was told they didn’t provide fans but they miraculously found one when she said that my room had one. The hotel states, in a reply to other guests’ complaints about no air conditioning, that all rooms have fans! Neither room had a fridge so we couldn’t keep drinks cool and when we asked for some water for the room we were told we had to pay for it. In the event we were given one small plastic bottle of water each but only on the first day. We were in two adjacent rooms on the ground floor (Rooms 10 & 11) & there was a water pipe between them on an external wall through which there was a noisy, constant stream of water, day & night. I notice that other guests had complained about the same pipe two weeks ago in a review. We were told that the maintenance team had looked into it.
