Plenty of parking nearby - comfortable bed and lovely shower. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff

Immaculately clean.
Would have liked a hook in the bathroom of room 8 to hang clothing on.
6.0 / 10.0
It was what it was, clean, tidy, reasonable breakfast
£10 for parking, which the receptionist decided to tell you after you had spoken to them about parking
7.0 / 10.0
Location and general ambiance.
Very good breakfast.
Not up to a chain hotel standard; for example: my friends had complimentary bottled water in the room, I didn’t have it, one day they left amenities, one day they didn’t, as if there are no checklists.

Great location, easy to find, comfortable, and good value. Parking is limited, but we had no issue finding a space. It was within easy walking distance to the centre (20 minutes). We would be very happy to book the Linton Lodge again.

Fantastic, room was perfect, friendly staff, parking onsite, great location, walkable to city centre, great for the price, will definitely book again when we visit Oxford next

Food was lovely, staff were very helpful. Hotel is very clean.
Nice walk in to Oxford centre.
Parking wasn’t great, had to park on the road first night and then sit waiting for a space to become available in the morning.

Location
The checking in process took nearly 15 minutes at around 11.30pm - it was a shambles, then I got the key card and it didn’t work, had to go all the way back - poor.

Great bedroom, it was lovely and warm which was essential as a very cold blitz hit the country. Shower was also great.
The evening meal was underwhelming and the vegan burger was disgusting.

Closeness to Oxford town.
We booked as a party of 4, so booked one standard double room and one executive room as a teat for my mums 60th birthday. The executive room didn’t feel that different in comparison to the standard room. It was the same size bed with no extras except 2 bottles of water.
We had a flashing spot light in the executive room so the person on reception came to have a look and “tapped” it with a tv remote control and said “well it’s not happening now”. It was intermittent so I just asked if the bulb could be removed.
Staff upon check in and check out were not welcoming. On check out we were not asked any questions about our stay or any form of conversation.

I have stayed there several times and find the staff very kind and welcoming, a nice quiet area but with easy access to city centre and nearby pubs and restaurants.
A poorly placed radiator right next to the bed! Under the window would have been more sensible. It was very hot the first night and I was very uncomfortable and worried about burning myself on it. Only discovered how to turn it off the next day!

Lovely hotel in a fantastic location. Nice modern room with a large comfy bed. Very friendly staff.
Could do with a bit of updating in some areas

Room Was of great size... bigger than expected and my son loved it. Mr. Josh was very helpful, my excellent rating is for his politeness and service.. Room was very warm, neat and clean... Loved the stay..
nothing to mention actually...

Quiet location. Limited parking but if staying Saturday after 6pm, parking on street is free overnight . About 1 mile from town
8.0 / 10.0
Clean and well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable beds
Non opening windows and no ability to regulate room temperature
8.0 / 10.0
Clean and comfy. The guy behind the reception desk when we checked in at 4pm was very friendly. Nice quiet location
Car park is pricey but as it was so small we couldn't get a space anyway. Not a massive issue as plenty of off road parking if you are careful.
8.0 / 10.0
Good location, clean, pleasant and comfortable. Helpful staff.
There was no real introduction to the breakfast. Although good some of the ingredients could have been a bit more authentic (e.g. freshly cooked not instant porridge, more interesting muesli not from a packet, and home-made rather than packeted jams).

It was close to where I needed to be
The bathrooom floor was very cold and tbe shower could have been more powerful.

Great communication from the property. Close to city centre. Plenty of parking. Nice communal space.
The welcome was underwhelming.

Location
Staff - spoke to us like rubbish. Treated us like rubbish. 3rd time visiting now and will be the last. Gets worse everytime
8.0 / 10.0
Comfortable cosy room, included tea/coffee maker, iron + ironing board, sufficient power sockets. Bus stop to the city center is just a few minutes walking distance away, the bus ride is just 5 stops. There is also a commercial area within walking distance with shops and restaurants. Big breakfast selection and helpful front desk

- Location was easily walkable (30min) to Oxford centre and provided reasonable parking.
- Room was generous in size.
- During the middle of the night (~4am) loud noises were heard in the room, probably due to the plumbing / heating pipes. These noises continued for 20-30min and woke both myself and my partner up, after which it was difficult to get back to sleep. We mentioned this to the front of house when checking out but little comment was made or an apology which was disappointing.

We had an executive suite which was a large room with double bed and double sofa bed. Double bed was very comfortable, room was clean, lots of toiletries in the bathroom, good lighting. Great location for walking into the city.
The sofa bed mattress was extremely thin with no padding around the springs - extremely uncomfortable.

Nice room and en suite
Breakfast was a bit disappointing. We arrived at about 9 am and the fried food was looked as if it had been under the hot plate fro some time. There wasa no marmalade and the person in charge told us that when you had marmalade, nobody ate it. I always think that "toast and marmalade" is a common breakfast food.

Location was great
Reception staff were grumpy. The guy we checked in with had a real attitude. Not one smile.
Rooms could do with some tlc, but were clean and the bed was comfortable.

Perfect for my needs. Has a car park which is very useful
I was charged £10 to park my car because I arrived before check-in in the early afternoon

Breakfast and the little bar were fine.
Easy bus access.
Our ground floor room at the rear with cars parked immediately outside.
Too far out to leave case there, such that I had to drag it around Oxford to see the sights on the way home.
Bus fares at £2.50 each, each way wasn't great.

The family room was quite small, but OK for one night.
Location of course was great—the main reason we stayed here. We could access the hotel up till midnight with no worries, which was good.
There was no openable window, and the room was stuffy—it wasn't possible to get any ventilation, apart from one noisy floor-standing fan. Staying for more than one night or in hot weather would have been rough.
The hotel car park was rammed, and the parking restrictions in the area are unfathomable. Fortunately we managed to time things for close-by on-street parking.

outdated and far from centre

Attractive restaurant.
Damp patch in corner of our room next to bed.

Breakfasts were good value and choice when booked in advance. Other meals too were good choices and served well. Staff were friendly. Facility to leave luggage securely on day of departure until ready.
Not really anything. For us it was everything we required.
8.0 / 10.0
The place is nicely located just outside of Oxford in walking distance. There are some parks nearby and it is in a quiet location. Buses and trails lead to town. The staff was very nice and breakfast very good.
The shower in my room was broken when I arrived (water wasn't coming out but a trickle. They tried to fix it that day and the next but could not, so I changed rooms.
